Talk about grist for the mill. The blogosphere is abuzz with news that Conde Nast head Si Newhouse is in Paris negotiating with French Vogue Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld to have her replace current Vogue EIC Anna Wintour.
Gawker , Jossip, and Fashionista offer more details but I must say, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard this. I’m taking it with a big ole grain of salt for now. But it does beg the question: are we ready for a change of the guard at America’s Fashion Bible? ~A
One of my homegirls Val recently launched an online boutique, www.valstyleonline.com, chock full of well edited designer items earmarked for discerning fashionistas. She really outdid herself this holiday season, offering the following hot party frocks:
I’m in LOVE with that 3.1 Phillip Lim!! Purple is my color.
If you have a company party coming up, logon to www.valstyleonline.com to peruse a few fabulous options. And lucky you: since Val is a friend to the Fashion Bomb, she’s offering 20% off dresses over $250. So that Phillip Lim dress just might be mine 🙂

WWD reports that Louis Vuitton will re release their graffiti bags (a collaboration with Stephen Sprouse) in January 2009:
…picture pink, orange, and green graffiti over the classic monogram print.
The camo print is growing on me, but this one I’m not too sure.
Would you rock one of these graffiti inspired totes? Image Source
Homegirl can BLOW! Love it! And she has a cute retro style. Enjoy! Pssst, I filmed the guys from Stuff Fly People Like for my first Fashion Bomb TV segment! Reminisce here.
…who starts her day with The Fashion Bomb, and “absolutely loves” T.J. Maxx!! She admits her best Maxx find ever was a Diane von Furstenberg luggage set for under $200. Check out the sexy black leather mini and strappy sandals for her Real Style. She better work!
And our second winner is Yahaira, a New Yorker who has been reading the FB for over a year: …she frequents T.J. Maxx for favorites from French Connection, and is a huge fan of Diane von Furstenberg, and Patricia Field. True to her Real Style pic, she loves neutral tones with pops of color. Loving the hair, too!
And of course you’re wondering what the answers were!

Thanksgiving is over, but Mail Bombs are still poppin!
I know most of y’all are already AT the mall, so I’ll keep this short and sweet!
First Mhel was wondering about Rocsi’s hot heels: She says, “Can you tell me who they are by and where I can buy them??“
Rocsi is wearing these Balenciaga Fall 2008 d’Orsay stilettos: Seems this collection was quite popular amongst Fashion Bomb fashionistas, as Ciara was identified wearing their Escarpin Booties in this Mail Bombs Post. Find your pair at www.balenciaga.com.
Next Megan says, “I wanted to know if you could find the designer of this dress??“ Of course at her Unicef Gucci event, Ri Ri is wearing Gucci… The Spring 2009 gown was first modeled by Chanel Iman no less! Who rocked it better?
Alexis B from Washington D.C. says, “I wanted to know where I could find a coat like the one Keri Hilson wore to the Dirty Awards...” “... It looks great and perfect for the brisk DC weather!“
It does! Reader Myranda wrote in and informed me that Keri is in fact wearing this Soldier Girl Coat in Grey: …get it for only $83 at Fashion Bomb sponsor www.lulus.com!
Next, in a Male Mail Bomb, Hajah says, “I was wondering if you could PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me. Lance Gross did a photoshoot with Derek Blanks and he has on a brown leather jacket…” “…He looks great and I want to send this jacket to my brother for Christmas who is actually in the army in Iraq. Please help!“ Lance’s stylist Staci wrote in saying, “His Jacket is Dolce & Gabanna. Lance told me several people have been in search for it. Lance had me do a search on the D&G website and that particular jacket is no longer available!” Lance is looking out!!! Anyway, try these jackets for a similar look:
…get ’em at www.endless.com.
That does it!
Hope you’ve all recovered from your turkey coma and are hitting the malls in style!
I’ve got a bit of work today, so let me get down to business.
Bisous!
