I’m back from Rome, recovering from all the delicious pizza and pasta!

While walking around by the breathtaking Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II, we ran into this young lady:

I appreciated her chic yet casual style: she was rocking flats, but kept it funky with a cute vest, skinny jeans, and shades with red accents. After chit chatting a bit, we discovered this diva, Alicia, was visiting from Berkeley, California.  Happy to see another American, we quickly made friends and traveled all around town hitting up all the must see spots! Will give you the Rome rundown in a bit.

Talk about diversifying your career! Pharrell Williams (aka my future boo) recently celebrated the launch of his new ecofriendly-fabric company, which turns recycled plastic bottles into textiles.

According to the New York Daily News, he says, “We want to do everything from high-end luggage to high-end denim, to university caps and gowns to Parks Department uniforms.” Way to keep fashion responsible.

So I’ve been on twitter forever, but never really paid attention to it until now when it seems everyone and their dog is tweeting. While on Ryan Leslie’s page I followed my nose to Chanel Iman and Sessilee Lopez who both profess to have shot a groundbreaking, monumental fashion moment recently in London.

Sessilee says, “Leaving London now!!! My God when you guys see the photos from this shoot you will die, all i can say is ITS A MAJOR MOMENT IN FASHION!!!!!”

And Chanel says, “IN London Shooting a MAJOR SURPRISE COVER!!!!Its top secret can’t give it away!!”
