They’re the bomb!
Who stunted and who fronted this weekend? The fashionable’s looks were all over the place, from the formal to ‘fits fit just for the stage. Let’s take a look!
The Cannons continued to take their closeups this weekend at Cannes, and entered a dinner hosted by Roberto Cavalli in grand style. While Nick kept it dapper in a classic two-button tuxedo accessorized by an elegant diamond pin, Mariah represented in a floor-length Cavalli Spring 2009 gown. The patterned silk with brocade trim, deep v-neck, and side cutouts is very typical Mimi, but she carried it off with aplomb, and managed to look sexy without being too over-the-top. In one for our Airport Style files, fashion plate Kim K. was spotted arriving in Miami looking fierce in distressed jeans, a bright silk scarf, and a black vest dotted with military buttons. Her bright pink sleeveless tee picked up the color of her Stephen Sprouse graffiti bag perfectly, and she completed the look with her favorite oversized shades. A sizzling Hawt for Bomb favorite Ms. K…
Over in NYC, Jennifer Hudson kicked off the weekend with a taping for the “Today Show” in one of spring’s biggest trends, harem pants, accompanied by a short-sleeved, multi-layered, bright red top, and studded wedge sandals. A solid black cuff and lariat necklace accompany the ensemble and, besides her shoes, appear to be the best pieces she’s wearing. The outfit is not the most flattering for the fabulous Ms. Hudson’s voluptuous body, and seems to be trying to hide her curves instead of enhance them. Hmm…
Finally, Ciara dominated the stage in a dominatrix-like number at Z-100’s Zootopia concert in New Jersey. The R&B songstress went heavy on the black leather and lycra, and rocked a harness-like vest with a zippered corset belt and black leggings.
