For our throwback Thursday video, I give you one of my favorite chill songs, So Good by Davina featuring Raekwon:

The song is hot, but the video is kinda wack! The monochrome look down to matching lipstick is never chic.
Close your eyes and enjoy this oldie but goodie:)
The ed’s over at Honey Mag seem to think the leather look works for warmer temps:

They say, “Leather in the summer? Sounds sweaty, but just like denim, leather and suede has gotten lighter and lighter and comes in a variety of new washes. So if this summer you’re looking to stick with the harder, tougher edge that a little leather adds to any look, options are a plenty. “

Reader Jay recently wrote in with a fun request!
She said, “I’ll be attending Beyonce’s concert soon with five of my girlfriends. I know it sounds cheesy, but, we want to channel our inner Sasha Fierce and wear Sasha-inspired costumes. We know the main criteria is shiny, gold, silver, and sparkly. We were even considering each picking a video theme to wear, but we can’t seem to find anything. We’d all like to wear something different. Can you help us?“
Jay, you’ve come to the right place! Check out these Sasha Fierce inspired looks from some of Beyonce’s hottest videos:

All you need is a simple white halter, short shorts, red heels, and glistening body oil:

Get a New Orleans swagger with a red patterned halter dress and elbow length gloves:

Beyonce changes into so many freakum dresses, the options are endless! Two musts, however: big hair and big earrings!
Diva:

Add a pair fringe sunglasses like this option from Colette to this cute look inspired by the opening scene:
Lastly, Single Ladies:

I can’t 100% cosign going out in public in a leotard or swimsuit, but if you want to go all the way, go all the way:
How would you channel your inner Sasha Fierce?
Bisous!
On November 14th, mega brand Jimmy Choo will brings its hot shoes and bags to 250 H&M stores worldwide!

Tamara Mellon, Founder and President of Jimmy Choo, says, “We are privileged to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M, to be designing a collection that will appeal to fashion-savvy, street-smart women and to be including some great pieces for men, too.“
What a great collaboration! I can’t wait to see the offerings.
I’ll definitely be lining up for this one. Will you?
I was doing my usual web cruising, and came upon a t-shirt and hoodie site called www.skillafashion.com:

The line was created by artist Darold Skilla, a designer with a background in graphic and web design. He says, “The line promotes positivity and a unique point of view.” Take a look:

Music Tee, $23 ; Hero Tee, $18

Skilla Polo, $23 ; Music Tee, $23

Rihanna was spotted yesterday at the Carol’s Daughter Hand and Foot Spa in New York wearing a Preen boyfriend blazer, ALC gray jersey dress and a Fallon Mixed Chain Necklace:

This ensemble offers the perfect mix of chic and edgy and the polka dot pumps are a sweet touch. I especially love how she popped the collar on her blazer.
But isn’t there an unwritten rule that says that toes and fingernails must be painted the same color if baring both? Hmmm?

If you’re loving the look, here’s the recessionista version:

A few our our favorite fashionista’s swirled on the red carpet for last night’s CFDA Fashion Awards.
Were they hot? Or did they make you go hmmm….

Zoe Saldana looked chic and stunning in a gray Calvin Klein resort 2010 dress. The off shoulder style adds a dash of sauce to a somewhat demure frock, and her glittering accessories make the look certifiably hot!

Kerry Washington also chose gray for the event, stunting in a floor length v-neck dress by Doo Ri Chung. Though the design is somewhat simple, Kerry manages to make it look elegant with stud earrings and a sleek hairstyle. Hot!

Designer Rachel Roy was also at hand for the event in a one shoulder embellished dress set off by black sandals and make-a-statement black earrings. Rachel is undeniably beautiful, but her poor posture messes the whole look up for me…hmmm

Fellow designer Tracy Reese made a rare appearance in a tea length floral dress worn with embellished accessories. Tracy tends to dress down, so she gets a hot for stepping up and out in fabulous makeup and a killer outfit!

Vuitton’s favorite runway model Georgie Baddiel came as designer Phillip Lim’s date in a cropped light gray tuxedo and champagne ruffle top. Beautiful girl, but perhaps she needs to go take a Tyra crash course in ‘dressing like a model off the runway.’ She’s still new to the scene, so she gets a pass. We’ll keep an eye out, however, hmmm…

Rounding out our rundown is beauty Liya Kebede who seems to have wore a lacy bandeau bra underneath a plunging patterned wrap dress. Perhaps she got dressed too quickly, but this looks get a rare hmm…we’ve seen Liya in much better!

Great info and product picks! Can I confess I am SO TERRIFIED of waxing!
I know I should get it together, but…the pain is a huge deterrent!
Anyway, great job Eileen!
