J Brand seems to be the designer jean of choice for Bomb celebrities. Rihanna and Ciara have been spotted in the same pair of $198 Torn Ripped Skinny Jeans:
Rihanna wore hers with a feather adorned pair of booties, while Ciara tucked hers into knee high boots. Both kept it chic in poparrazzi blocking sunglasses.
Add a touch of glamour to your wardrobe with this purple splurgeworthy Marc Jacobs Cecilia Studded Satchel:
The updated version of MJ’s signature Stam Bag has eye catching studs for a modern swagger. Get it, plus a few other variations, for about $1,475 at Bergdorf Goodman:
So it seems the A has lots of love for the Fashion Bomb (and the Fashion Bomb has lots of love for the A)!
Today reader Kimberly submitted this cute pic for Fashion Bombshell of the day:
She says, “Attached is a picture of me down in Little 5 points in Atlanta doing some shopping on Euclid Street! I hope you like!”
I do! Cute Shades!

Bonjour Beauty Bombers!
It’s Eileen here with another Beauty Tuesday!
Today we’re going to talk about how to get bangin’ eye lashes:
Full, gorgeous lashes make your eyes pop and are the cherry on top of a beautiful look.
Getting the long lash look isn’t hard–and thankfully we found ways for you to get fabulashes at every budget!
1. Lash Conditioners: Just like skin, hair and lashes need to be conditioned to grow healthy and long.
Splurge: Use a small amount of Revitalash® once a day to achieve the natural beauty of longer, thicker, fuller looking eyelashes ($135 at www.skinstore.com):
Save: Give your lashes a boost with Global Goddess Coconut Amla Lash & Brow Conditioner. This can be worn alone or under your favorite mascara, and is fragrance free (perfect for contact lens wearers). ($28 at www.globalgoddessbeauty.com)
2. Luscious Lengthening Mascara: Pump some volume into your natural lashes with thickening mascara. Splurge: Tarte Mascara Lights is aptly called the ‘push up bra’ for eyelashes thanks to its volumizing properties. The 4-in-1 (lengthening, curling, volumizing and conditioning) mascara is dermatologist recommended and clinically tested to give dramatic, thick, sexy lashes. ($18 at www.drugstore.com)
Save: Get a similar look for less with Maybelline Great Lash Washable Mascara in Blackest Black. Its lash doubling formula glides on smooth to build great-looking lashes, and its brush makes it easy to get a full look. ($5 at www.walgreens.com).
3. Fake Eyelashes: Still can’t get the look you want to achieve? Glue on a pair of fake lashes for an eye popping look.
Splurge: Dress up your eyes in a blink with Trish McEvoy’s new Eye Lashes. Perfectly shaped to create a defined yet natural lash line, they are easy to apply and will instantly glamorize your look. ($16 at Saks Fifth Avenue)
Save: Sephora Brand False Eye Lashes are a great alternative and can still achieve the same look. The collection includes classic black to foil finishes so you’re sure to take your look to the next level. You can get your eyelash fix for as little as $2 at www.sephora.com:
4. Lash Extensions: If you’re a glam girl who’s not scared to splurge, then Lash Extensions are for you.
Ultimate Splurge: Lash Boutique in NYC is amazing! www.lashboutique.com . Each false lash is applied with adhesive to your natural lashes and lasts for up to 4 weeks when cared for correctly. Get a pro to hook you up for about $300 a set!

~Eileen * Loving Janelle Monae’s lashes from Yesterday’s Post?
Get her look with these tips!
1. Use a liquid liner like MAC’s Boot Black to line the upper lid and follow with a pencil liner for the lower lid and corners of the eye. 2. Curl lashes with an eyelash curler like Tweezerman Classic Lash Curler. 3. Finish by applying your favorite mascara that adds volume and length like Maybelline XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara to top and bottom lashes.
So one of my tweoples (twitter people) recently put me on to The Sugar Mafia, a sexy and naughty Atlanta based t-shirt brand:
Their Fall 2009 Collection, called “Raw Sugar” features t-shirts with explicit messages like “Hood B*tch,” “Boss”, and “Hater.” The tee’s are perfect for a sassy bad gyal:
Compared to last weekend’s crush of celeb events, things were a bit more low-key this week with, er, one glaring exception that we saved for last, as we always do for the best!
All hailed Queen Latifah at her “Good Morning America” performance on Friday. The rap royalty diva kept it crisp in all white with a shirred neck, one-shoulder, long-sleeved tee and white jeans. Diamond hoops, a clear Lucite cuff, and mirrored aviators round out the outfit, but something about the ‘fit’s baggy fit has me Hmm’in it a little…
We’ve gone a few weekend round-ups without featuring FB favorite Kim K. but this gorgeous, body-hugging black mini-dress with full sleeves and scalloped neck embellishment she wore to the Aces and Angels Celebrity Poker event calls for notice, mais non? Black Louboutin platform pumps, a lush tumble of curls, and doe-eyed makeup provide a simple yet sexy canvas for the standout dress. Can we say “Danger: Curves Ahead“? Get ‘im then, Kim…
FB newcomer and “Entourage” star Jamie-Lynn Sigler kills the arrivals carpet at the Sixth Season Premiere of the show. Jamie-Lynn, who’s of Cuban descent, rocks out in a strapless bronze and black tiger-striped number with sweetheart neckline. Her diamond bracelet, sparkly black clutch, and platform pumps accompany summer’s must-have accessory: glowing golden skin. Fab look for the former “Sopranos” gal!
The ever-lovely Thandie Newton opted, fittingly, for an artsy look at London’s Serpentine Gallery Summer Party. Her watercolor print frock, abstract nude sandals, and graphic clutch make for quite the pretty picture. A ruby red pop of lip color and side-swept hair complete the ensemble perfectly. Monsieur Monet would be proud–quelle hawte!
Finally, Bruno says “Vassup?!” at his taping of The Late Show on Friday, waxed to within an inch of his life. This is “Sound of Music” + Village People game done proper. Two snaps, a twist, and a “YMCA”/”Do-Re-Mi” mash-up for fashion’s cheeky global ambassador. Unh, unh, uh…
Is anyone else going to check out the movie? I wasn’t a “Borat” fan but this hot disaster I might just have to see…
~Adri
So I was at a house party this weekend, and popped on my Ipod for a bit of MJ love. Everyone was feeling the groove until this one Debby Downer said, “I’m so tired of Michael Jackson…Isn’t it overkill? I mean it’s been nothing but Michael Jackson for two weeks.” For some reason I felt offended and wanted to tell her off, but instead I turned around and turned up the PYT.
If you, too, are still rocking for MJ, check out these new T’s by designer Kobe Saki:
Well designed and comfortable, the t’s offer a fashionable edge that will allow you to continue your praise fest for the Late King of Pop. I mean, can we put a time limit on tributes?
