Today we have a few snapshots of Brittany from Smoaks, South Carolina:
The 18 year-old says, “I recently started trying to get a more mature look. I am a shoe fanatic so my shoes are always the beginning of a look for me. I start college this year and I can’t wait to work my new style!“
Brittany is a fellow blogger, and recently started her personal tribute to fashion called the The Chiffon Safari. Check it out at www.thechiffonsafari.blogspot.com.

Vanessa Simmons and Trina were recently spotted rocking the same hot pair of embellished turquoise peep toes:
Vanessa wore hers as an accent to her American Apparel Chambray Jumpsuit for a birthday celebration in NYC. Trina went for the jumpsuit route as well, but opted for a much tighter catsuit in all black set off by an onslaught of cascading chains and stacked bracelets.
Both women brought their own distinct style, but who wore it better?

This past weekend beauty brand Carol’s Daughter opened their first store at Atlanta’s Lenox Square Mall and invited A Town’s finest to toast it up for the occasion.
The event benefited Mary J. Blige’s charity FFAWN, and 33% of the weekend’s sales were donated to the cause. Many celebrities, including founder Lisa Price, Keri Hilson, Boris Kodjoe, Steve Harvey, Mo’nique, Boris Kodjoe, Mychael Knight and Derek Blanks , were on hand to celebrate:
I got a chance to snap a pic with Keri Hilson, who was on site signing autographs for fans and supporting the brand.
She first learned about Carol’s Daughter when her NY based stylist, Tippi Shorter, used the Tui Hair Oil on her ends.
Keri said, “I never look at any of the products they use on my hair but the Tui Hair Oil caught my eye since it has a flower inside and smelled so good! Â This is my favorite Carol’s Daughter product.” Keri was also happy to see Carol’s Daughter’s presence in her hometown, Atlanta, where she has noticed a recent trend of more women wearing their hair in natural styles. She said, “Now they can get products to keep their look versatile.”
Look out for her next video and single, “Slow Dance,” directed by Chris Robinson.
