You may remember, The Fashion Bomb met and mingled with the Parisian Cool Cats at an event not too long ago. We stay on top of what’s hot!
It seems graffiti artist So-Me was commissioned for this urban spread:
Known for his edgy aesthetics, Alexander Wang delivers with his Coco Mini Duffel.
Crafted with leather and studs, it’s the perfect transitory item from summer to fall. It’s a quite an investment at $850, but a worthwhile one. You can cop one here.
Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean you should skim on the leather, or faux leather for that matter.
Forever 21’s Angie Mini Skirt gives an authentic look without the authentic pricetag. At $23, there’s no reason you can’t afford to stay on trend. Get one to vamp up your look here.

Despite it being incredibly hot these days, you bombshells needn’t be discouraged from covering up a little when you feel an evening chill. A cute jacket, sweater or vest can amp up the chic factor on a simple look. Check out these options for hot summer coverage:
1. Boyfriend Blazer
Keep it summer cool in color, like Keyshia Cole, instead of going with ordinary black or grey:
2. Lightweight Cardigans:
A light knit is perfect for an afternoon shopping trip or for a day at the airport (if you’re a jetsetter like Beyonce). A cardigan looks especially great when coupled with skinny jeans:
3. Strong Shouldered Jackets:
Bring a little drama like Kerry Washington with strong shoulders. Don’t be afraid to go there– just keep the rest of your ensemble simple, but chic:
4. Sequined Jackets:
Sparkly stunners are no longer for the 70’s and Studio 54 nights–take a risk and shine! Alesha Dixon knows the score!
5. Vests:
A vest will keep you cool while offering a but of edge. If you think you can pull off a rocker look like one of our fave Bombshells, Dawn Richard, then go for it with the vests below:
She says, “ I’m a senior fashion merchandising student at Howard University and I work at Sephora! The aesthetics of beauty and fashion intrigue me! Here are some shots:”
Maryam, you know how to work a pink pattern! Loving your colorful steeze and confidence.

I zipped over on Jetblue this morning and watched MTV on Direct TV the whole time! I fell in love with this video “You’re a Jerk” by the New Boyz:
The fashion is definitely on point, and I’m always a sucker for a new dance. I’m running to bask on the beach. Stay tuned for features from Vuitton, Adriana, and Eileen!

The New York Times reports that Naomi Sims, sometimes referred to as the first black supermodel, passed away this past Saturday at the age of 61:
The Pittsburg native overcame significant obstacles to become the first black woman to cover Ladies Home Journal in 1968. The trailblazer walked for designers like Teal Traina, Fernando Sanchez, and Giorgio di Sante Angelo, covered Cosmopolitan in 1973, and starred in spreads for Life and the Times Style Magazines. In a 1974 New York Times article, designer Halston said, “Naomi was the first. She was the great ambassador for all black people. She broke down all the social barriers.”
Naomi paved the way for black models like Beverly Johnson, Naomi Campbell, and Chanel Iman, knocking down doors by grace of her sheer determination and undeniable beauty:
Naomi Sims Life Magazine, October 17, 1969
She will forever be remembered as a true fashion pioneer, and one of the first to set the tone for diversity and inclusion.
