Hey Guys,
So Halloween is in a little over a week, and it’s high time to start thinking about what you’re going to wear! If you’re anything like me, you’ll most likely want to inject a bit of style into your costume while flaunting your unique sense of chic…and who better to look to than divas for inspiration?
Get a Grace Jones like swagger, sashay like Diana Ross, or channel your inner Sasha Fierce with these fun recommendations:
1. Grace Jones

Adrogynous styles are super trendy this season, so you can easily find fashionable separates to help achieve a Grace Jones look. Wear a strong shouldered jacket with tights and stilettos or simply rock a hooded dress with sky high booties. A smoky eye and red lipstick should complete your look–the crewcut is optional!
2. Tina Turner

To channel Tina Turner’s on stage presence, the higher the hem the better! Rock a short fringe dress with sequin pumps, and add a voluminous wig for extra effect:
3. Diana Ross

Your inner glamazon will rejoice with a super elegant Diana Ross costume. Slip on a floor length ball gown with long look-at-me eyelashes, then throw on your faux fur and diamond studs for unstoppable sophistication:
4. Beyonce

No Halloween Diva Costume roundup would be complete without including modern diva Beyonce. Go for super bold in a body suit with pumps, or more demure in a full on catsuit with ankle boots. If the weather turns chilly, you can throw on an embellished military jacket for added umph:
Who will you be dressing up as for Halloween?
Rihanna was recently seen sporting Intermix’s exclusive Marilyn Minter Tote:

The limited edition tote bags were created in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month:

A portion of the proceeds generated through their sale will be donated to the breast and ovarian cancer charity, Bright Pink.

Chris Brown recently rocked a pair of $595 Dior Homme Blow Sunglasses for a promotional shot for his I Can Transform Ya music video:

These might be the most expensive sunglasses I’ve ever seen, but tell me they don’t look hot?

Owww!
Guys, save on the outfit, splurge on those. Find stores at www.diorhomme.com.
Hey Guys!
Vuitton here. Some of you probably didn’t know, but I work at a bank during the day. Shocking…I know. Since I’m but a meek and lowly teller, the males aren’t required to wear blazers or suits, so long sleeve button-downs and neckties are the norm. Most people look ok, but one of my co-workers wears a get up very similar to the following…

That’s right a short sleeve shirt and tie. No bueno.
This is archaic and just needs to stay under the rock from whence it came. For a more professional and albeit, up to date look in the office (pun somewhat intended), long-sleeve shirts are the best way to go.
Take your cues from Mr. President himself, Will Smith, and Idris Elba…

Need more tips? Here are a few for staying on course in the workplace.
1) Oversized dress shirts are never okay. They make you look bulky and short. It should always fit close to the body. It if doesn’t, you can always take it to a tailor to have the fit adjusted.
2) Make sure patterns on ties are subtle, but eye catching. Polka-dots, paisley, and stripes would definitely be your best bet.
3) While wearing a striped or gingham shirt, it would be best to rock it with a solid colored tie or a tie with small dots. Contrasting patterns with complimentary colors do a good ensemble make.
4) Wear it with confidence! It’s everyone’s goal to make a statement when they enter a room. Just make sure that all eyes are on you in a good way.
Now I know what my co-worker needs if I get his name for Secret Santa: a year long subscription to GQ Magazine. If you guys out there need help, too, here are a few suggestions:
