Christophe Decarnin of Balmain has made a triumphant foray into accessories with this chic Leo Swarovski Crystal Bag:

With $10,000 blazers, of course this dazzling piece is a pearl clutching $2,920. But of course it’s Balmain–you’ll be making a statement. If you’re ready to take the plunge, do so with these options:
The stars were out all over the country this weekend, hitting up basketball games, charity events, and afterparties. Though casual chic ruled, a few Bomb celebs pulled out the gowns for awards ceremonies. You tell us: are they hot, or do they make you go hmmm…

Lance Gross and Ciara attended a Denver Nuggets Vs Atlanta Hawks game in the A wearing comfy jeans and minimal accessories. Though Lance took matchy matchy to another level with his purple hat, gray and purple hoodie, and gray and purple sneaks, his jeans broke the color barrier and managed to make the look hot! Ciara’s thigh high suede Christian Louboutins are the business, as are her leather jacket and light wash jeans, but hmm, not feeling the cornrows this time around. I applaud her for giving her hair a rest and doing her thing, but perhaps a cute french braid or something more styled would have brought her swag to the next level.

Over in NYC Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Ferrari Murakami, and more attended The 40/40 Club’s New York Yankees Victory Party. As Vuitton stated in his Fall/Winter Menswear post, straight, relaxed fit jeans in a dark wash are what’s hot this season, and all three men show they’re on point with this trend. Bomber and leather jackets worn or simple black t-shirts complete their indisputably hot looks.

Over in LA Nicole Richie and Halle Berry made cameos at the March of Dimes 4th Annual Celebration of Babies, with Nicole in her signature floor grazing floral maxi dress, and Halle Berry sizzling in a fitted long sleeve black dress and gray suede platform pumps. Halle Berry is 15 years older than Nicole, but somehow manages to look younger thanks to her chic haircut, form fittin frock, and stylishly simple accessories. Halle definitely get a hot, but hmmm…I’ve seen Nicole look much better.

Also in LA, singer Frenchie Davis and actress Kim Coles attended the 12th Annual GLAAD Tidings Season’s Greenings with Kim in a figure flattering all black outfit punctuated by a sequin tank, and Frenchie in a peachy pink wrap dress and gold sandals. Kim looks hot and sophisticated in her chic outfit and bow front sandals, but hmm, Frenchie…I don’t think the peak-a-boo lace bra works here. She certainly look saucy, but perhaps this dress would have benefited from either a lower cut bra or a cute comfy camisole.

Kim Kardashian made an appearance At Westfield Culver City Shopping Mall in what is slowly becoming her signature: leggings, a tunic, and a cropped jacket. While I love pieces of this outfit, most notably the shoes and statement necklace, this particular ensemble is generally underwhelming. Hmm, we’ve seen Kim K do much, much better, but then again perhaps the outfit was apropos for her low key mall engagement?

And lastly, Alicia Keys and Eva Longoria Parker attended the 10th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards in Las Vegas, with Alicia in a floor length Kaufman Franco green gown accented with a turquoise statement necklace and blue eyeshadow, and Eva sparkling in a Zuhair Murad gold strapless beaded dress with a keyhole detail and fringed hem. Both ladies look positively lovely–hot choices for the high wattage awards show!
What do you think?
If you’re in NYC, join Jay Alexander (or Miss Jay) of America’s Next Top Model tomorrow for the launch of his book, Follow the Model:

His most fabulousness will be in the building giving advice on how you can build confidence, learn how to strut, and be comfortable in your body. You can also, of course, pick up a copy of his book.
Head on down to the Barnes & Noble at 97 Warren Street at 7pm on Tuesday November 10th. Oooh, these are the times I wish I still lived in NYC!
Have fun!
I, like many other Rihanna fans, sat riveted watching her interview with Diane Sawyer on 20/20.

Though the incident was quite traumatic for her, she seemed strong, resolute, and fierce. What better way to flaunt her renewed spirit than in Fendi’s $2,200 Fur-Trim Turtleneck Sweater Dress?

An incarnation of her winter white number debuted on Fendi’s Fall 2009/2010 runways with a corset:

You can get a black version of the luxurious cashmere dress with a classic turtleneck and silver fox fur trim at Saks Fifth Avenue.

What do you guys think?
Hey Guys!
So last week, as you know, The Fashion Bomb was having technical issues that didn’t allow for regular Mail Bombs. This time around I put my foot in it and solved as many MB’s as I could. Let’s go!
First up, Ololade says, “I recently came across this old Rihanna picture and thought this look would be absolutely perfect for a party I’m attending.”

“…Â I already have the J Brand Thrashers, but I need help finding this top and/or more recession-friendly options.”
We got you! Get Rihanna’s Corset look with these affordable picks:
Alicia says, “I love the dress that Raven Symoné wore recently.”

“… Do you know where she got it from/who it is by?”
Yup! Raven is wearing the uber popular Jackie O Dress by Black Halo:
The dress is a favorite of Tyra Banks, and you can get it in various colors for $207 on sale or $345 full price. It’s quite a splurge, but it’s definitely something you can wear to a job interview, cocktail party, or date! And between you and me, I have a friend who buys all her Black Halo on Ebay for a steal. Try it out!
Penne says, “I’m in need of some very cute sweatpants. The pair Amber has on would be perfect.”

“…Do you have any idea where I can get them or some similar??”
We can do you one better and find her whole look for you!
Now for some Wardrobe Queries!
Virgelia says, ” I woke up one morning and I was craving something. Not pop-tarts, not pancakes, or Cap’n Crunch. I was craving black high-waist skinny jeans. I went to the mall and to a few online stores and found nothing. Please point me in the right direction plz!!!!! I’d so appreciate it. I need these skinnies in my life!!!!!!!!!“
Wow a craving that tops Cap’n Crunch is serious! We found these fun options for you at several price points:
Cherise says, “I’m on the planning committee for a fundraiser that’s happening in 2 weeks and I need your help! I recently purchased this vintage Victor Costa highwaisted skirt with beautiful ‘lace like’ detailing and I have no idea what top to wear with it.”

“…I need your expertise. Shoe and accessory suggestions would also be appreciated.”
Sure thing! Since you’re on the planning committee, I would opt for a neutral ivory top in a fabulous fabric like satin or silk. Show off your personality with fun shoes and a colorful clutch:
And lastly Jasmin says, “I’m looking for some hot pink pumps I can wear with my new black sequin tee dress. Budget friendly please =).”
Of course! Look hot in these options:
I’m off to run a million errands. I’ll be back in the afternoon with more fashion news, celeb style, and bombshell goodness!
Smootches!
I’m sure that you, like all of us, kept up with the fashion that Rihanna brought during the fall/winter fashion week season. The talk of the town was this Gareth Pugh striped sheer number from his Spring/Summer 2010 collection. This obviously wouldn’t go unnoticed and “uncopied.” Enter Topshop’s Knitted Stripe Dress.

Almost identical to Pugh’s dress, the only difference is the missing turtleneck…and of course the cost. Topshop’s version is definitely a steal at $80, compared to Pugh’s which could easily be in the thousands.
Which would you rock if you wanted to vamp it up for the holidays? Get Topshop’s version here.
