Black Girls Rock! is a nonprofit, youth empowerment mentoring organization whose mission is to encourage positive life-changing activity and critical thinking through the arts for “at risk†teenage women of color. They have an awards show on the 17th of the month to celebrate exemplary women of color, and are also selling fun tee’s like these to help support the cause:
The shirts average about $60, but proceeds go towards a very worthy cause!

Smootches!
Fashion Week is over here in Paris, and it’s time to sit back and reflect on the fabulous fashion on and off the runway.
Ubercelebrities Rihanna and Prince (among others) were in the City of Love for the festivities, and both came out in their best designer sponsored duds to sit front row. Rihanna has been said to take slight style inspiration from Purple Rainman Prince, so we thought it would be fun to have the two trendsetters go head to head in a style showdown.
Who turned it out the best for Paris Fashion Week?
For the Chanel Show, both went for a light color palette with Prince opting for head to toe gray ruffled glory and Rih representing in white and light blue with pearl accents…
The two favored black, with Prince rocking a gold sequined black jacket for Yves Saint Laurent, and Rihanna in black collared cut out top for Jean Paul Gaultier…
And both brought their short slick cuts and dark sunglasses to the front rows of John Galliano and Karl Lagerfeld.
Dior’s version is definitely more chic than Bebe’s. Although, I have to admit that the silver piping around the platform of Bebe’s version adds some edge. Bebe’s version only costs $149, but the Dior’s will set you back $632. Which would you rock?
Hey Guys!
Today our Bombshell is Radica, yet another New Yorker with great style:
About the Fashion Bomb, she says, “I love The Fashion Bomb because the it features all aspects of fashion: clothes, makeup, hair, careers in fashion etc. And when a celebrity is rocking a piece that I know I can’t afford the blog shows great alternatives to that piece!”
LOL, we try.
We love your outfit’s great color, detailed embroidery, and unique straps. You’re also working a haute hairstyle. Fab!
What do you guys think?

So today was kind of womp womp. I ran to catch the Louis Vuitton show at the Louvre, but was running a little bit behind…I thought I’d be fine since most shows start a little late. Well, I got there about 15 minutes after the start and all I could see were the well dressed show attendees leaving the venue:( Yes, I was tardy for the party.
I stood outside literally kicking rocks until I spied Covergirl Chanel Iman:
I interviewed her really quickly about on her on again/off again friend Jourdan Dunn and the state of diversity in the industry (see above). She was super sweet–and I love her shades!
