5 Reasons Why You Should Consider Buying Rare Carat’s Lab-Grown Diamonds

As reported by CNN, people looking to buy engagement rings are now mostly turning towards man-made or lab-grown diamonds.  The process of creating lab-grown diamonds is similar to the process of creating a synthetic diamond.

It involves high temperatures and pressure, but instead of combining carbon with other elements to create a synthetic diamond, lab-grown diamonds are created by placing actual carbon atoms under extreme heat and pressure.

The result is something that has all the properties of a mined diamond. It’s clear, hard, and sparkles as a real diamond would.

Everyone these days wears lab-grown diamonds. Even Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence has embraced these man-made gemstones, as reported by professionaljeweller.com. The real question, however, is why you should consider buying lab-grown diamonds from Rare Carat.

Let us explain.

#1 Rare Carat’s Lab-Grown Diamonds are Cheaper

Natural diamonds are rare, and they have to be mined from the earth. This means that they cost a lot to produce, and they cost even more to purchase. Lab-grown diamonds don’t have the same costs associated with them, so they can be sold at a lower price than natural diamonds.

A lab-grown diamond will cost you between $30 and $60, while a mined diamond can cost between $100 and $200.

A quick look through Rare Carat’s catalog will give you a good idea regarding the pricing.

You can see that Rare Carat has priced lab-grown diamonds two to five times lower than natural ones. That’s because Rare Carat is transparent about its diamond products and will never sell you lab-grown ones as real diamonds. You’ll notice that the same carat of a lab-grown diamond is at least two-thirds of the price of a natural one.

#2 Rare Carat’s Lab-Grown Diamonds are Free from Impurities

Rare Carat’s lLab-Grown Diamonds are free from impurities and imperfections that occur naturally. This means that they come with the same quality, beauty, and value as natural diamonds.

A lab diamond is grown in a lab under controlled conditions, so it’s free from impurities and imperfections that occur naturally. This means that they come with the same quality, beauty, and value as natural diamonds.

This makes lab-grown diamonds an excellent choice for those who want to wear an engagement ring while avoiding conflict diamonds or other ethical issues with their jewelry.

#3 Rare Carat’s Lab-Grown Diamonds are Brighter and Have More Clarity

Rare Carat’s lab-grown diamonds are made in a laboratory by heating carbon under high pressure and temperature until it becomes a diamond. These diamonds are often brighter and have more clarity than natural diamonds, so they look more like what we see in jewelry stores. They’re also less expensive than mined diamonds because there’s no need for exploration and mining equipment, as well as the costs associated with bringing them out of the ground.

Because lab-grown diamonds are man-made, they can be created to meet specific specifications such as size, shape, color, and clarity. You’ll also find that lab-grown diamonds are more environmentally friendly since they don’t require large amounts of energy or chemicals during production.

#4 Rare Carat’s Lab-Grown Diamonds are Environment Friendly

As the world’s supply of diamonds becomes increasingly scarce, we need to find a new way to mine for them. A lot of people want to buy diamonds but also don’t want the environmental impact that comes with mining for them. That’s where lab-grown diamonds come in.

Lab-grown diamonds are grown in a lab and do not require mining. This means they are more environmentally friendly than mined diamonds.

This is a much more eco-friendly alternative to mining diamonds since it doesn’t use as many resources or cause as much damage to the environment.

Vogue Business reported that the Russia-Ukraine war has resulted in a spike in demand for lab diamonds. That’s because people are concerned about the ethical implications of using natural diamonds from Russia. Thus, they’re switching to alternative means.

#5 Rare Carat’s Lab-Grown Diamonds Look the Same as Natural Diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are created in a lab, but they look exactly like natural diamonds. You can use them to make engagement rings and other jewelry, and it will be hard for anyone to tell the difference between them.

Just like natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds look the same as their mined counterparts. The only difference is that they are made in a laboratory rather than mined out of the earth.

You can’t find any difference between the natural and lab-grown princess cut diamonds from Rare Carat. The man-made ones are cheaper, but there’s no way to tell them apart with the naked eye.

Compare a lab-grown and a natural diamond from Rare Carat, and you’ll see the difference. The lab-grown one is a perfect diamond and will look good on engagement rings and bracelets. Natural diamonds have impurities, and they’re not that shiny, either. Even then, there’s not much separating the two when you look at them with the naked eye.

However, this doesn’t mean they don’t have their own unique qualities that make them worth considering as an alternative to natural gems.

All these are some of the most common reasons why people should consider buying lab-grown diamonds over natural ones.

Claire’s Life: Celebrating the Givenchy Atlanta Store Opening with Creative Director Matthew M. Williams x (b).STROY

Happy Wednesday, Bombers and Bombshells!

I just landed in Miami for Art Basel! Before I touched down, I stopped by a Givenchy store opening last night in Atlanta and was met by fellow guests Lil Yachty, Trinidad James, Sonny Digital, Mike Will and more:

The Parisian house and its creative director Matthew M. Williams recently collaborated with (b).STROY, a design duo out of Atlanta, on a capsule collection. Established by two ATL streetwear pioneers Dieter Grams and Brick Owens and now headquartered in New York City, (b).STROY has garnered the attention of 032c, HypeBeast and most recently Givenchy. (b).STROY is the culmination of experimental fashion, expressive style and, as such, Givenchy has decided to pick their home of Atlanta as the location of its next store, nestled right in the heart of Southern luxury, Phipps Plaza.

This is the design house’s eighth freestanding flagship store in the country, a milestone described by CEO Renaud de Lesquen as an “[…] opportunity to connect directly with Givenchy’s fast-growing fan base in a highly engaging retail environment.” Stylists, influencers, and industry insiders all came by to toast to style and get an exclusive first look at the newly unveiled Givenchy x (b).STROY pieces.

As someone who places his bets on the subcultures and underdogs of the industry, Givenchy has designed both clothing and exclusive fashion NFT’s with (b).STROY as well as other indie designers of their caliber through Williams’ collaborative framework and forward vision.

Balenciaga Sues Production Company for $25 Million Over Controversial Campaign Images

In recent weeks, Balenciaga released two very controversial campaigns. The first featured young children wearing teddy bear bags styled in S&M-style accessories. The second was a Spring 2023 ad which seemed harmless enough until the alarming photo of a Balenciaga x Adidas Hourglass laid across court documents relating to the 2008 United States v. Williams Supreme Court decision regarding child pornography laws.

In the wake of social media outcry from fans and fashion insiders and the slight hint at a possible break up but not really from their biggest A-list supporter, Kim Kardashian, Balenciaga is prepared to sue. It seems a lawsuit was filed in New York State Supreme Court, stating Balenciaga is suing North Six Inc, alongside its agent and set designer Nicholas Des Jardins, for $25 million in “extensive damages.”

In Balenciaga’s public social media statement, posted to the brand’s Instagram Story, they claimed that inclusion of the certain documents was without their knowledge or approval.

The brand wrote in a since expired Story post: “We Sincerely apologize for any offence our holiday campaign may have caused. Our plush bear bags should not have been featured with children in this campaign. We have immediately removed the campaign from all platforms. We apologise for displaying unsettling documents in our campaign. We take this matter very seriously and are taking legal action against the parties responsible for creating this set and including unapproved items from our Spring ’23 campaign photo. We strongly condemn abuse of children in any form. We stand for children safety and well-being.”

While Balenciaga is holding onto the claim that this all transpired without their knowledge, Gabriela Moussaieff, Des Jardin’s agent, argues that Des Jardin is “being used as a scapegoat” by Balenciaga, a statement she made this past week. “Everyone from Balenciaga was on the shoot and was present on every shot and worked on the edit of every image in post-production,” Moussaieff continued. She also noted that the U.S v. Williams document was rented from a prop house.

Balenciaga has removed both campaigns from its site, but social media still isn’t buying it. Some see the lawsuit as a suspicious shift of blame. It removes Balenciaga’s role in the creative process entirely which seems rather odd for a brand as prolific as it is. According to The Fashion Law, the complaint hasn’t been uploaded yet to the New York state court database, so we’re currently unclear about the claims Balenciaga is filing.

Stay tuned for updates on the case, but until then, read the backstory of his controversial campaign on The State of Fashion and let us know what you think!

Kim Kardashian Ends Her Silence Amidst the Balenciaga Campaign Scandal Via Instagram

Shock, outrage, disgust and disbelief are only some of the responses that have swept the world, both within and outside of fashion, when Balenciaga unveiled their latest ad campaign last week. The now deleted images that once seemed to promote child exploitation and BDSM had the designer house in hot water with the media and long time supporters of the brand alike. We at Fashion Bomb Daily have been closely following the scandal unfold and in latest news, Kim Kardashian has broken her silence on the matter through a statement posted to her Instagram story. Here’s what you need to know:

After dropping Kanye West due to claims supporting white supremacy and several statements that were considered anti-Semitic, Kim Kardashian became the main poster child for Balenciaga. Their strong relationship debuted earlier this year when the luxury brand made Kim the new face and, as a result, we have seen her wearing a variety of Demna designs all year long.

Kim is known for her philanthropical charity work to improve living conditions for children and families in precarious situations, so many were questioning her silence when the campaign came to light seeing as it goes directly against those values. In her own words, she is now “re-evaluating her relationship with the brand”.

While Kim has acknowledged the brand’s quick action in removing the campaigns and efforts to issue a public apology, her future with Balenciaga is uncertain. More to come as we continue to follow the story closely.

Fashion Bomb Weddings: Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia Celebrated Their Union in a Magical Two-Part Ceremony with a Stylish Guest List

Atlanta sweethearts Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia sealed the deal this Thanksgiving with a grandiose wedding celebration in two parts and we are still in awe! It all started last Friday when Mr. and Mrs. Guobadia held a traditional Nigerian ceremony in authentic Yoruba attire. Later on, a heavenly white wedding reception took place as we marvelled at Porsha in her glorious princess gown styled by Selina Howard. The guest list seemed to go on and on for days with ATL’s most illustrious peaches in attendance including Nene Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Toya Johnson and many more!

One special guest from out of town was international stylist Swanky Jerry who oversaw Simon’s wardrobe from the outset and throughout. The style magician, originally from Nigeria, wore a black Love From Julez look, Rick Owens shoes, Anna Karin Karlsson accessories and a magenta Alexander McQueen quilted bag. Looking at his color scheme along with photos of all the guests, we think it’s safe to say the dress code for the traditional part of the wedding was infused with fuchsia hues and the evening reception was an all black affair.

Entrepreneur Miss Quad wore a custom Rami gown in the correct color to Porsha and Simon’s traditional wedding!

Media personality Kendra G. also got the memo as she stunned in a custom velvet House of Chapple styled by Harrison Thomas Crite.

Styled by Jeremy Haynes, Kandi arrived in a Yousef Aljasmi dress, Born Billionaire gloves, Jimmy Choo heels and Deepa Gurnani jewelry with her husband Todd as her plus one!
