Happy Thursday, folks!
Last night, I lost my purse, so am currently updating from a friend’s computer. Though my wallet, phone, house keys, and Ipad are missing, the world keeps spinning, and our Bombshell and other posts continue!
Take a look at Houston, Texas resident, Chioma:
She was submitted by her sister Onyekachi, who says, “[Chioma] currently resides in Houston, Texas but is originally from Nigeria.”
” She moved to the States to obtain a degree in Accounting. She is also an aspiring fashion stylist.”
” She describes her style as “all over the place.” It can be edgy one day, it can be more sophisticated the next and it can also be fun and playful as well.”
” She loves to shop at thrift stores because, she says, “You can find amazing pictures at a really good price””
” She also likes to use her hair as an accessory….She says, “my hair color changes depending on my mood or the way I am feeling at the moment””
You have a lot of great pieces! Loving your Givenchy tee and gladiator sandals.

Our Bombshells hail from all over the world, and today’s lucky lady, Nana, lives in Copenhagen, Denmark:
She types, “I’m not really into one certain style, ’cause it all really depends on which mood I’m in.”
“Someday’s I want to be super girly, and someday’s it’s all about the sneakers. “
“I do love some good statements pieces, that really makes your outfit come together.”
“When it comes to fashion, I live under the motto ‘Never say never’ – and no I’m no Bieber fan, just saying.”
“I love experimenting with fashion, but it’s still important to know what’s suits my body.”
“I get inspired by what’s all around me: music, movies, people on the street, art and the weather.”
“I’ve loved fashion since I was little girl – dressing up in my grandma’s colorful printed dresses, her high heels and ruining her lipsticks trying to get dolled up. Fashion is something that is constantly on my brain, I couldn’t imagine my life without it.”
Great description, and lovely pictures! Your red sweater and ‘Baddest’ outfits are my faves.

This week is off to an…interesting start for me, but hopefully Charlie from LA can lift my (and your) spirits! Take a look at what the blogger and stylist sent our way:
She says, “My style is always evolving…”
“…No one outfit is similar to the next, but in a nutshell, ‘Elevated Sporty’ is the best description for it!”
“One day I might wear boyfriend jeans with a fresh pair of kicks…”
“… but the next day I’m in wide leg trousers with 6 inch platforms.”
” You just never know with Charlie!”
“Dressing myself and helping others to develop a certain sense of style that they can feel comfortable and completely confident in is my happiness and creative outlet.”
” Follow me on my journey to becoming one of the most unique and well developed Fashion Moguls! :)”
HOT! I love everything from your platinum cropped cut to your well edited separates.
See more of her style on her blog www.TheArtofCharlie.blogspot.com and on Instagram @CharlieBrianna. I’ll be following!

We’re ending this week with Nere from Hyattsville, Maryland:
She writes, “As a doctoral student in developmental psychology, I have been able to engage in a lot of introspection, including the progression of my style.”
“… Needless to say, my style progression has evolved to a style uniquely my own that I like to call “City Love”. City Love is full of classic chic silhouettes and beautiful sequined materials that you would find while out on the town.”
” I like bodycon dresses, but a classic sheath dress never loses its integrity nor does a modern or vintage sequin outfit.”
” City Love also incorporates the culture of a city, including its diversity and the connection one feels with those around them in the city, through the intricate details and patterns that you will find in many of my beaded statement necklaces, from South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria.”
” City Love also has elements of romance, which we all know can be up and down while in the city, so how having thick skin becomes necessary. Hence why I enjoy mixing hers and his pieces. I truly have the most fun with clothes/accessories that have a masculine feel to them. Unfortunately, for my boyfriend, he had to get used to the idea of sharing his stuff with me.”
” Finally, City Love is always searching and yearning for a time when things were simple. Kind of like that home sick girl trying to find her way in a big city.”
“… For me when I feel like going to back to the basic, I turn to my favorite vintage jean jacket, denim shirts, or a pair of sweats. My City Love style is not perfect or always beautifully put together. I often forget to put on earrings, completely accessorize my outfit, or coordinate the best prints, but I have learned those are my imperfections fit perfectly into City Love.”
” Overall, I believe we are able to express our authenticity through our style, which is unique and individually tailored to who are on the inside. From a psychological aspect, when your inside matches your outside, in other words if you have a rocker/edgy personality and you have that expressed in your clothing you are expressing a sort of harmonious relationship with you and what the outside world sees when you first present yourself. I am a mix of beautiful, rustic, shiny, colorful entities that you will find in a city.”
Well, that was undoubtedly the most loquacious and eloquent style description we’ve ever received! You have a ton of classic combinations with quirky twists, which is admirable. My favorite look would have to be your yellow cape dress. Chic!

*Aside: When we say someone’s ‘from’ somewhere, should we include their hometown or their current town?
