It’s Thanksgiving!
And I’m spending the day with family and friends.

For fall, I love nothing more than a comfy sweater, and a pair of jazzy pants to boot! I have a thing for Kenzo, so splurged on their Beaded Tiger Sweater, and offset the look with these metallic flecked trousers from ASOS.

My Givenchy nightingale (which I’ve had forever) is always with me. I completed my autumnal ensemble with a pair of DSquared 2 Rasso Pumps (last seen here and here) and a vintage Captain’s hat I scored at Noir Kennedy in Paris.

I’m thankful for a lot of things this Thanksgiving– but aside from good health, happiness, and fruitful relationships, I’m thankful for your support, and for making my humble blog into a bonafide daily style destination.

So I’m in LA! But only for a day.

The kind folks over at Lincoln Motor Company were nice enough to invite me to an Evening of Style at Hollywood’s Siren Studios, hosted by Nia Long. The event was thrown to highlight their new chic MKC vehicle, and attracted lots of the city’s glitteratti.

For the occasion, I decided to pay homage to the West Coast in a Tupac tee from Forever 21.

I stuck to a black and white theme with a Robert Rodriguez striped blazer and 5th and Mercer two tone pants, and accessorized with loads of baubles from Topshop. A DVF clutch, and I was ready to go!

The event itself was chock full of colorful folks.

I took a bit of street style!

Image consultant Felipe G gave me loc envy with his fly updo.

This cutie, who goes by the IG name @Idance_365 was adorable in striped pants and bold gold accessories.

This young lady looked sharp in a polka dotted dress and smart pumps.

This Fashion Bomb reader jazzed up an all black look with leopard spotted wedge booties.

And Odain Watson and his friend sported gold jackets of his design. Like ’em? Check ’em out at Odaingerous.com.

The lady of the evening, Nia Long, looked sumptuous in a Mason by Michelle Mason dress, BCBG Stone Floral necklace, and Saint Laurent Ankle Strap Point Toe pumps.

I snapped a quick pic with Nia, then headed back to my hotel to soothe my sore feet.

At any rate, it was a fun night!
