Today’s fabulous Bombshell is Mina from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida:
She types, “I am a fashion enthusiast, wardrobe stylist and blogger.”
“… I would describe my style as fun, different…”
“… and forever evolving.”
” My style is very in tune with my feelings so you can definitely tell through my use of color and fit of clothing how I am feeling.”
” None the less my style is fearless where I am willing to try anything from different colors, textures and silhouettes regardless of what’s in or not.”
Cute! I like most of your looks, but your black mini and readers would have to be my favorite.

Today we’re taking a dip down south with Artrecia from Houston, Texas:
She says, “I’m not into the new trends, what’s hot, or what everyone else is wearing.”
” I like what looks good on me, what compliments me and my body.”
“I embrace my curves by accepting myself, flaws & all.”
“Knowing what’s best for me & not what others think is best for me…”
“I go out the norm, I do things differently, & I always catch myself stepping out of my comfort zone.”
“Some people make sure they don’t leave home without makeup, I make sure I don’t leave my home without confidence, I wear that first before any piece of clothing or makeup.”
“I dress for myself, doesn’t matter what society thinks, doesn’t matter what the next person is wearing. You are beautiful , no matter what shape or size.”
“Go with what works for you & not what others think is right for you.”
“You can view more pics on my Instagram @covergirl_21.”
Great submission! I’d say you had some hits and some misses–some ensembles were supremely flattering, others not so much. Loved your black dress look and your peplum ensemble.

Gina wrote a super sweet e-mail! She typed, “I would really like to see a post about your skin care regimen and makeup routine.”
” Your skin is always glowing and makeup is always flawless. I would love to know what products and techniques you use.”
Well, thank you very much! I’ll be honest: I don’t know a ton about makeup, though I’ve learned a thing or two from Shalea Walker, who does my makeup for big events. Perhaps she’ll write in with a few tips in a separate post, but for now, I can tell you what I do for my skin!
1. Use a Clarisonic Brush
The rechargeable skin cleansing system gets deep into pores and removes all the gunk of the day. I invested in a Mia 2 over a year ago, and replace my brushes every three months (replacement brushes cost $25 each or $40 for two). Most times, I use my Clarisonic once in the morning and once at night, though I think you can get away with just using it once a day. Get a Clarisonic brush at Sephora and cop the replacement brushes here.
BareMinerals is great to use with your Clarisonic. Neutrogena works well with Clarisonic, or alone, if you just want to give your skin a good rinse.
3. Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar
The benefits of raw, unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar are highly documented, and while I have no scientific proof of its effectiveness, I can tell you, it works for me! I try to drink a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar with a glass of water every day (the taste is a bit much, but you get used to it!). I also dab a bit of Apple Cider Vinegar on a cotton ball and wipe it on my skin as an astringent after cleansing. It burns a bit, but has proven to keep pimples and blemishes at bay.
4. Use Makeup Removers
Any makeup artist or dermatologist will tell you–wash off your makeup before going to bed! Leaving makeup on will clog up your pores and inevitably lead to skin irritation. If I’m not too tired, I’ll of course cleanse my skin, and remove any heavy makeup with L’Oreal Clean Artiste Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. I’ll admit, sometimes the urge to fall asleep with makeup on is too tempting, so I keep Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes in my nightstand so I can just swipe it all off before I pass out.
5. Moisturize
As you can see, I’m a huge fan of Neutrogena;) I currently use their Healthy Skin Face Lotion with SPF15. The SPF protects against sun rays, and the alphy hydroxy acid gives your skin a little tingle after application.
Get a few of my faves here:
Of course these work for me, but you should consult with a dermatologist to see what might work for you!
What lotions, cleansers, and skin care products are on your top five list?
She says, “I’m a twenty-one year old ambitious, goal chasing , psychology major, model & stylist(el’Mod Styling).”
” My style is everything! “
“I’m inspired by seasonal trends, fashion weeks, or even my mood.”
” I dress how I feel , that could be feeling like a BOSS, feeling like a SUPERmodel or simply wanting to look DOPE.”
“… My goal is to never duplicate but always put my own twist on style and become a successful entrepreneur in this industry.”
” My two favorite things to shop are Michael Kors and thrifting.”
” More of my photos can be found on Instagram: mercedesslove_ “
Hot! I really like what you’ve got going here, and am a fan of your plaid pants look.

We’re ending this week with Venica from Mississippi:
She wrote, “I’m Venica Knight known as Polished Knight.”
” I grew up in Jackson, MS but I’ve been living in Byram, MS for the past 12 years.”
” By day I’m a Full Time Master Level Social Worker & After work I’m an Image Consultant & Freelance Makeup Artist.”
“I would describe my Style as Polished, Chic with Creativity.”
” I love showing people how they can look like a million dollars with out breaking the bank.”
” Also, how to invest in Classic Pieces because they will last until their vintage years.”
“As an Essence Street Style Chic subject two years in a row. I took it as a Sign from GOD to share my Gifts with the World via Internet.”
” Until then I was never on any social network.”
” I would like for women to know, even though we have families, children, & are working full time that we can still be Fashion Bombs!!!“
I love it! Grown and sexy!

Today’s lucky Bombshell is Ciara from Washington, D.C.
She writes, “My Style changes by my mood but I like to call it “Chic yet Street”.”
“… I take pieces from my mom’s collection from the 90’s and match them with today’s “Trending Looks”. “
” Born and raised in DC, I have a chance to see all types of looks and I created my own style. “
” Each day while getting ready, I gather inspiration by what I see in magazines, on FashionBombDaily, and how I am feeling. “
” I like to mix prints and colors all with a touch of exclusive jewelry pieces. I don’t wear a lot of expensive jewelry because I like to support local DC designers. I usually buy from them because they are one of a kind and I can let other people be discovered as I tell my story.”
” Style is someone telling their story without opening their mouth. It is capturing how your day is going to go, how you are approaching it, and what you want others to feel when you walk through the door.”
“I am starting a blog, but waiting on that one thing that will set me apart from the rest. On a daily I am inspiring youth in the DC area working for the Mayor. I love my job and all the youth adore me because we can relate through fashion.”
Hot! I love most of your looks, especially your print on print ensembles. Work!

Today we’re going down to Louisiana! Take a look at Elle from Baton Rouge:
She types, ,“My style is Cute…”
“… simple…”
“… chic…”
“… with a slight edge.”
” I also love to accentuate…”
” and mix pattern.”
” My mixed pattern looks come from thrifting.”
” Fashion is apart of my life in the many ways; last year, I started an Urban Chic t-shirt line “ElleMarie, LLC” “
“..and under that umbrella I complete wardrobe, photo-shoot and personal styling. “
OK! You have some bold looks, but my favorite might have to be your more simple ensembles. My favorite is your black dress.

Happy Monday, Bombers and Bombshells!
It’s my last day in Paris, and I’ve been working alllll day on BET Awards coverage and the like. I’m off to try to enjoy the rest of my time here (and try to his the Soldes!), but first, check out today’s Bombshell, Daphne from the Netherlands:
She says, “I’m an upcoming Fashion Stylist from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.”
” My Style can be described as a mix of colourful…”
I’m gonna check you out! I love your boldly creative looks, and can definitely see you styling a pop artist in a few snazzy, stage ready ensembles.

So Paris Men’s Fashion Week ended yesterday, and for my last day, I attended the Lanvin show.
My little point and shoot camera is fine…but doesn’t take the best shots, so I tapped Julien Boudet to capture a clearer picture.
Take a look:
Givenchy isn’t only beloved by rappers and ballers! This slick haired model looked quite handsome in black slacks, sturdy boots, and the label’s Columbian fit plane printed tee.
This editor uplifted a pair of shorts with Givenchy’s black and red Bauhaus Madonna tee. Also, I know you guys think only bloggers wear their blazers perched on their shoulders, but it’s actually more of a European look. It works!
I officially have a new street style crush, and her name is Esther Quek. The Group Fashion Director of The Rake always looks beautifully bada$$, accessorizing masculine separates with supremely feminine touches, like dangling earrings.
This bearded gentleman caught Julien’s eye.
And this young man allowed his tattoos to take center stage in a black v-neck tee and black loose fit pants.
I also captured a couple diverse subjects on my point and shoot:
I snapped this picture of Esther Quek outside the Dior Homme show. Please note two things: How much better Julien’s camera is than mine. How fly she is. I’m loving the colors and haberdashery!
And lastly, prints were on tap for this street style photographer who refused to look at my camera! He complemented a Givenchy paisley button down and matching shorts with green socks and white shoes.
And that does it for Paris Fashion Week Street Style!
