We’re going to be treated to a pictorial for this submission, as she didn’t include a style description.
Enjoy:

Happy Wednesday!
I’ve been quite the busy bee this month! Last night, I was honored to host a premiere screening for OWN’s new docu-series, Love in the City, sponsored by Clairol and the 135th Street Agency.
Set in New York, the show follows celebrity hairstylist Kiyah Wright, fashionista Tiffany Jones, photographer Chenoa Maxwell, and entrepreneur Bershan Shaw as they bond over love, friendship, heartache, and relationships. Pegged as the multicultural answer to Sex and the City, the series promises real drama, but zero catfights (a nice balance of sass and class).
The show’s cast is quite the stylish group (as you can see!), so the kind folks at OWN thought it fitting that I MC the fabulous gathering.
Take a look at who came out to show support:
Entertainment Mogul Mona Scott Young blessed the proceedings in striped separates
Angela Yee rolled through in a printed top and black pants Uptown Magazine Editor-in-Chief Isoul Harris posed with Bethann Hardison
ABC News’s Joi-Marie McKenzie smiled with Rae Holliday of RaeHolliday.com and songstress Elle Varner
Marielle Bobo of Ebony Magazine, Nikki Ogunnaike of Glamour.com, and Ericka Goodman from Ebony lit up the room
Show castmember and hairstylist Kiyah Wright looked sultry next to stylist Jason Rembert and hairstylist Ursula Stephen
Style maven Tai Beauchamp and In Style Magazine’s Kahlana Barfield looked absolutely lovely
Model Sessilee Lopez debuted a new curly ‘do, and posed next to publicist Marvet Britto and Chef Roblé
I loved Ursula Stephen’s Topshop romper! She looked cute next to Felicia Walker Benson of ThisThatBeauty.com and Marvet Britto
Show Co-Producer D’Angela Proctor bet on black
Charlene Dance of Strength of Nature looked radiant next to Geneva Thomas of Bravo’s Blood, Sweat, and Heels
And Chenoa Maxwell held up a copy of Juicy Magazine next to editor Talia Smart Young
It was an amazing night!
If you’re intrigued, check out the trailer here:
And be sure to tune in for the premiere episode, which airs this Saturday, April 12th, at 10pm on OWN.

*I shot a quick little Style Diary before the event:
Today we have yet another fabulous Bombshell! Give it up for my friend and second time Bombshell Fatou from Paris:
La bloggeuse for Black Beauty Bag types, “ I am a big fan of mix and match.”
” I love vintage stores in Paris…”
” most of my clothes come from there and shops like H & M, ZARA, and PRIMARK TOP SHOP. “
“I like to have a youthful style…”
“…that’s very feminine…”
“… at the same time.”
Magnifique! J’adore! Love that Zara coat, and the striped dress? Adorable!
Be sure to follow Fatou’s site, BlackBeautyBag.com, and check her out on Instagram @BlackBeautyBag.

Happy Tuesday!
So as I mentioned in a video I did with Renae Bluitt of In Her Shoes Blog, I’m really looking to ramp up production on Fashion Bomb TV! I’ve stumbled in the past, become a bit discouraged, but figure I can only get better with practice!
When Tameka “Tiny” Harris’s team got in touch to see if I wanted to chop it up with the Sweet Georgia Peach, I was totally game, so took my video team down to Patricia Field’s Boutique to ask her a few style questions.
Five Words to Describe Her Style? She said, “Sexy, Fun, Fly, Edgy, and Expensive.”
Best Gifts She’s Ever Received from T.I.? “A Rolls Royce and a diamond ring.”
See it all here:

Happy Monday!
There’s always something fun percolating in NYC, and this past weekend was no exception! I was honored to speak on In Her Shoes Blog’s Beauty & Brains Behind the Brand’s panel along with Renae Bluitt of In Her Shoes, Demetria Lucas of Bravo’s Blood, Sweat, and Heels and A Belle in Brooklyn, Latham Thomas of Mama Glow, and Anthony Dickey of Hairrules.
I felt blessed to share my journey and offer any little nuggets of wisdom I could to the crowd.
As with any NY event, the ladies came dressed to the nines. Here’s a short selection:
Today’s Bombshell is Malita from New York, by way of Zambia:
She writes, “ I have a Masters in Marketing and Finance from London but fashion has always been close to my heart.”
” I started my blog, www.malinycollections.com, a few months ago and it’s a collection of personal style and travel inspirations.”
“Fashion to me is an art and expression of my personality.”
” My style is simply chic.”
” I like to describe myself as the queen of color-block.”
” I’m obsessed with the big four – bright colors…”
“High heels…”
“…big curly hair, and sassy dresses.”
Sassy is the right word! Your style is simply exuberant.

We’re ending this week with a bang! Check out Kreasha from Austin, Texas:
She says, “I am a freelance Personal Stylist and Personal Shopper.”
” I would describe my style as simple but yet slightly complicated here and there.”
” I like to do monochromatic looks but also some looks with a little diversity as well.”
” I specialize in thrift store shopping for myself and others because I’m young and trying to save and build my empire by spending as little as possible.”
” A lot of the items I wear were less than a dollar at my favorite thrift store.”
“I want to show women that you do not have to be wearing the hottest designer or the latest bag to look fabulous, you can do it all for little to nothing at all. All these looks were thrift store finds.”
” I love Fashion Bomb Daily I check the site multiple times a day and I love what you all stand for.”
Why, thank you! We love what you bring to the table. Sophisticated and chic, on a budget no less. I love it!

The gold-plated brass knuckle rings were created in collaboration with London’s Victoria & Albert Museum to celebrate its Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014 exhibition.
These are definitely a splurge, but they’re pretty epic!
