Rihanna’s next project is charitable in nature. With an event called the Diamond Ball, the singer will bring out 600 people to Beverly Hills for dinner and silent auction. Proceeds from the event will go to her charity the Clara Lionel Foundation. The event will be held on December 11th. (NY Daily News)
Jeremy Scott is still churning out things at Moschino. His latest: a unisex fragrance. With packaging that seems at first to channel the art work of Rene Magritte, the scent is said to evoke the playfulness Scott is known for. It’s a cute, tongue-in-cheek presentation from the designer but the jury is still out on the scent. (Fashionista)
According to Kim Kardashian, she’s a trailblazer when it comes to selfies. Yes, it says it right there in her new book. You remember the book, it’s titled Selfish, features over 1,000 of her own selfies, and hits shelves in April. That book. “[Kim is] widely regarded as a trailblazer of the “selfie movement”– a modern day self-portrait of the digital age,” it reads. So every time you flip your camera around on your phone you should pay a little homage to Kim Kardashian West. (The Fashion Spot)
Kerry Washington is back with her latest collection for The Limited. Staying within the same Scandal theme of the first collection, this holiday themed offering includes a few pieces the star has already sported on screen as well ashtray dress options for the holiday parties. The range is already available to purchase. (StyleBlazer)
If you’re a fan of J. Crew’s aesthetic you’re about to be able to integrate another part into your look. The in-house hair and make-up for the brand for the past decade Troi Ollivierre is launching his own beauty line and to start he’s dropping six shades of lipstick. Done in matte with a bit of moisturizing qualities you can cop a tube of your own for $28. (T Magazine)

The 2014 Soul Train Awards went down this weekend, with a slew of Fashion Bomb Stars in attendance!
From eye catching gowns to lace and leather, everyone came to show out.
Take a look:
The highlight of the awards was a Jodeci reunion (!). I loved me some Jodeci back in the day, so was juiced to see K-Ci, Jo-Jo, DeVante, and Mr. Dalvin on the carpet in their matching looks.
Elle Varner gave all sorts of face in a Elenareva dress, Jimmy Choo sandals, and a gold LK Bennett clutch.
Lil Kim flaunted her post baby bod in black lace and Tom Ford lace feather over the knee boots.
The moto jacket features custom hardware, zip pockets, a color-block design in burgundy, pink, purple, and red, a belted waist, and zip closure at the front.
I love it with a pencil skirt and leather booties, but you can also sport it with a black sequin LBD for your holiday parties or with boyfriend jeans and sneakers for weekends out.
Kim and Khloe Kardashian came to slay at the Hairfinity launch event in London, with Kim in a beige/peachy number from Juan Carlos Obando’s Spring 2015 collection and Khloe in a short frock by Alexander McQueen:
We all have a favorite pair of sandals. For Kim, her Hermes stunners are always on hand. Khloe opted from Christian Louboutin So Kate’s in black suede.
Kim’s look was modeled with strappy sandals; the jacket was closed to cover the details.
Khloe’s dress has button details. See a longer version here:
Khloe’s look is definitely more my taste, but both ladies look amazing. Kim’s ensemble looked better in motion.
The 2014 MTV EMAs went down today, though you can check the show out right now on MTV! There weren’t a ton of celebs in attendance, but those who were spotted at the awards show went glam in cutout dresses, high-fashion frocks, showstopping sandals, and so much more.
Let’s see what they wore!
The night’s host, Nicki Minaj, had a slew of outfit changes. This white Roberto Cavalli dress with cutout detailing and a flare hem was easily my favorite.
Jourdan Dunn looked every bit the supermodel in a LWD with a plunging neckline and a sultry silver band. This was simply stunning.
Need another fix of Nicki Minaj? She hung in mid-air in an embellished bra and voluminous ruffle skirt from Peter Hidalgo. Perfect for onstage drama.
Ariana Grande let her hair down (literally) in a black cutout Cristiano Burani gown. I’m not too keen on the fact that this number resembles that coveted Michael Kors gown so many celebs have already sported, but there’s no denying that Ariana looked hot!
Emeli Sande is rarely spotted out and about and she chose a berry-hued lace shawl, LWD, black cutout sandals, blunt bangs, and a braided topknot.
Winter white never looked better than it did on Nicole Richie at the 2014 Baby2Baby Gala where she sported a White Tadashi Shoji Cape, White H&M Dress, and Christian Louboutin White Pumps:
A floor-length white lace cape is a pretty tall order, but Nasty Gal has a shorter version in a more structured, menswear-inspired style by way of the $80 Elliatt Cape Blazer.
Last, but not least are the pumps which are everywhere on the market right now, though these $35 Boohoo Belle Pointed Toe Court Pumps will get the job done.
So…Best Dressed of the Week anyone?
Would you wear it?
*Jessica Alba was also at the gala in a strapless gold and white Andrew Gn gown. Thoughts on her choice?
