Suddenly, it’s Winter in NYC! I’m here for it — I love cozy toppers, boots, and infinity scarves!

Celebs hit the red carpet this week at high-fashion dinners, movie premieres, screenings, and so much more! Everything was on the menu from fiery red looks to menswear-inspired suiting.

Uzo Aduba was the lady in red at the Women Who Dare Dinner hosted by Panthere De Cartier And Harper’s Bazaar in NYC. For the occasion, she sported an off-the-shoulder button-front crop top and high-waist pencil skirt from Rosie Assoulin’s Spring 2015 collection in the bold hue. The fit left a bit to be desired here, but I literally could not be happier as I love this designer and love this star’s style even more!

At the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 London Premiere, Alexandra Burke showed off her enviable physique in a curve-hugging Alexander Wang for H&M dress, dark lips, and red ankle-strap sandals for a pop of color.

Dear White People star Tessa Thompson was wintry chic at the AFI Fest 2014 First Look of Selma in a expertly-tailored white suit. Hot!

Aisha Tyler mixed textures at the Halo Master Chief Collection Launch in Hollywood in a zip-front skull motif embellished sweater, leather skinnies, and studded pumps. Cute no?

At the Tory Burch Watch Collection Celebration in Beverly Hills, Hannah Simone flaunted her gams in a burlap embroidered mini dress from the brand’s Spring 2015 wares.

A printed Spring 2015 frock and smart accessories were Rashida Jones’s choices for the night.

Jordana Brewster was on-trend in a navy crop top and high-waist printed skirt with a sultry slit. I loved this!

The Saturdays songstress Mollie King kept it simple and chic at the Macallan Masters Photography Mario Testino Edition Launch in a leather LBD and black pumps.

It was all about colorblocking and curves for Adrienne Bailon as she grabbed some dinner at Aventine Restaurant in Hollywood in a $171 House of CB Pink, Nude, and Black Stretch Crepe Dana Pencil Dress:

Her stretch crepe pin-up inspired dress features bustier styling, a pencil cut, a lightly-padded underwire bust, and pink, nude, and black colorblocking.

Gray is the new black!
Or at least that’s what I declared yesterday for a day full of meetings.

I can admit that I’m inspired by the celeb looks we blog about! I actually liked the McQ by Alexander McQueen dress Trina wore to 106 & Park, but decided I’d go for it in gray.

My winter uniform will consist of sweater dresses and thigh high boots, so I slipped on my new Gianvito Rossi suede stunners (story here) and completed the gray theme with my old faithful Stella McCartney Falabella bag.

• So about that Kim Kardashian kover of Paper Magazine, apparently it was Kim’s idea to go sunny side up.  “We ended up trying one thing that didn’t run and that we didn’t think worked,” said editorial director Mickey Boardman of the shoot. “We hadn’t planned for her to take her clothes off. She wanted to and it kind of fit with the theme, and Jean-Paul was super excited about her attitude and Kim was super excited.” And as for that Break The Internet thing, it’s mostly because when Kim tweeted about their first shoot, it broke the Paper website. • At 12 years old Romeo Beckham is making bank! The pint sized son of Victoria and David Beckham made a reported $56,000 for his film and ad campaign with Burberry. Though the number isn’t confirmed — the finance director said “There are marketing budgets, and they [the people in the marketing department] are making those decisions. I don’t sign off every invoice that comes into the building” — we’re not doubting that the figure is in that ballpark area. (The Fashion Spot)

• For those of you looking to break into fashion, we’ve got some sobering truths for you. First and foremost, you’re not going to make that much in your entry-level magazine role. A recent survey pings assistant market editors at an average of $25,000 a year and editorial assistants at just under $35,000. And that’s average, so make sure you negotiate in that final meeting. If you’re looking to be on the cushier end of the spectrum though, look towards social media positions. (Refinery29)

• Though it’s been reported that Kendall Jenner will not be walking in the Victoria’s Secret show, it’s not because she was simply skipped over to mope in front of the TV screen with the rest of us. In fact, the model won’t be walking with wings because she’s going to be walking another fashion show in Austria. Reports say that jenner, along with It model Cara Delevingne, will be walking the Chanel show the night of the Victoria’s Secret runway and it’s expected that a new Pharrell song and Lagerfeld’s film will all drop that night. • In the wake of the whole Calvin Klein debacle, Vogue went live with a lingerie editorial featuring plus-sized models. With the title “The Best Lingerie Comes In All Sizes,” the story features girls with curvier silhouettes and the best lingerie options on the market now. (Vogue)

The holiday season has arrived! This is my favorite time of the year as it includes two of my favorite things: an abundance of sweets and lots of shopping. And as I’m sure a lot of you fashionistas have received your fair share of holiday party invites, I’ve curated 5 fabulous holiday soirée ensembles to help you dress the part this holiday season. Let’s dive in…

When it comes to a holiday soirée, I never tire of a feather trimmed skirt. For this year’s gathering, pair this chic mini with a vibrant boyfriend blazer in a metallic or festive hue and a strapless bodysuit with a sweetheart neckline.

Slip into a pair of sky-scraping suede pumps and add a touch of gold with a rectangular box clutch and jewel encrusted earrings.

The same goes for a contrast collar pussybow blouse. Chic up this sophisticated piece with a fun and frilly feather embellished shell top and a sleek pair of burgundy satin trousers.

Sass things up with a mesh pump and complete the look with a pair of emerald and crystal stud earrings and a satin box clutch.

Create an unexpected holiday look with a subtle metallic twist in a sequin embellished tweed mini dress.

Stay stylish and warm in a pair of suede over the knee boots and a plush feather and mohair blend jacket. Add a little bling with a tassel embellished oval leather clutch and gold dangle earrings.

Keep up with the metallic theme of the season with a full pleated midi skirt offset by a cut out cropped top.

Incorporate a few details with a faux fur gilet, a fancy embroidered clutch, and suede ankle boots. A full red lip and tassel earrings add the final pop.

And what would the holiday season be without a sequin trouser? For your final wardrobe option, chic up a pair of two-tone sequin joggers with a sleeveless coat or blazer and metallic transparent pumps.

Add a stunning fur clutch and gold fringe earrings for that extra dose of glamour. Complete the look with a soft beauty palette and a lavish pair of false lashes.
