It was mother-daughter night for Kylie and Kris Jenner who were spotted at The Gallows Hollywood Premiere. Kylie thew on a $1,025 KLS by Kimora Lee Simmons Fall 2015 White Sophia Coat for the occasion:

Her waffle-weave cotton coat is lightweight, minimalist, features contrast piping, a v-neck, slash pockets, and vented panels at the front and back.

Hot! Also loving Kris’s Balmain dress.

Lupita Nyong’o isn’t done with couture yet! The star turned up in the entourage of Anna Wintour this morning at the Martin Margiela’s Fall 2015 Artisinal (that’s just their version of couture) showing. For the occasion, the actress wore a Martin Margiela Resort 2015 black dress with capped sleeves and a sheer chest panel.

The 12 Years a Slave actress’ dress comes with the hem cut higher than it did in the resort lookbook. Her version hits not far below the knee which comes off both demure and appealing while the original flounced around the bottom of the calves, skewing slightly bohemian.

Black Dior ‘So Real’ shades make an appearance as did a strappy heel with a chunky platform.

Jessica Alba celebrated at the Tory Burch Paris Flagship Store Opening After Party in a Fall 2015 Long Sleeve Embroidered Dress and $325 Jones Sandals from the brand:

On the runway, her frock was paired with a fringe-accented belt, chunky socks, and mule sandals.

Her sandals feature 4″ stacked lacquered heels, metal buckle closures, and leather straps.

This is a perfect Fall look, though it’s making me a bit sad as I’m far from ready for Summer to be over.

My Essence recaps are not over–oh no!
Well this is the last one;) On the last day of Essence Fest, I participated on a panel for Verizon alongside stylist Wouri Vice, DJ Kiss, and Harlem’s Fashion Row’s Brandice Henderson:

Our role? Lend our thoughts on Essence Festival style, then offer a Verizon gift card to one lucky winner in the audience.

It was fun and a fabulous end to my whirlwind trip down to NOLA (it also reminded me of my twirls on 106 & Park. Ah, those were the days).

For the occasion, I wore a 3.1 Phillip Lim Shirtdress.

I went for Spring’s monochrome trend with blue Jimmy Choo heels and a Carbon Showroom clutch.

My co-hosts were festive in prints! Brandice looked lovely in a Reuben Reuel dress while Kiss sported a vintage Gucci frock. Wouri went for toned down in white and black.

Olivia Palermo partied at the M.A.C. Cosmetics & Giambattista Valli Floral Obsession Ball in the same Christian Dior Spring 2015 White Wrap Skirt Kim Kardashian originally wore back in May:

Olivia chose a black silky blouse, gold metallic clutch, and leopard-accented sandals, while Kim wore the skirt with the fashion house’s lace bodysuit and a pair of Céline sandals.

On the runway, the skirt was paired with a sheer long-sleeve lace top, a colorful printed shoulder bag, and a pair of boots.

Both looks give such different vibes that it’s hard to decide!
