Hey ya’ll!

We made it! The weekend is here and it’s time for a little rest and relaxation. Anywho, we’ve seen some stunning celebrity looks over the past week but only a chosen few were selected for our little feature…

So, let’s dive into the contenders!

1) Ciara in Elie Saab

Ciara and her beau Russell Wilson were on hand for The 2015 Espy Awards looking every bit of stunning! The Seattle Seahawks quarterback rocked a berry colored suit while CiCi gave all kinds of life in a sophisticated Elie Saab number. The singer also donned a sleek ‘do and a matching belt. Ugh, I love these two!

2) Kendall Jenner in Alexandre Vauthier

Kendall Jenner also made an Espy Awards appearance in a sheer black gown by Alexandre Vauthier. The revealing ‘fit boasts a trim silhouette, long sleeves and an elegant train accent. She kept her makeup to a minimum and slipped into a pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals. Yes!

3) KeKe Palmer in Georges Chakra

I’m a huge fan of KeKe Palmer! So, when I spotted her in this eggplant Georges Chakra cutout jumpsuit, there was no question that she be added to our Look of the Week! I love it all – from the cutouts to the fierce pose – she did that!

4) Savannah James in Donna Karan

Cute couple alert! Lebron and Savannah James were papped at the New York City premiere of the film Trainwreck looking absolutely divine. ‘Bron kept it simple in a grey suit while his better half slayed in a flowy red Donna Karan gown. She topped off her classy frock with metallic sandals and a gold belt. Hot!

5) Gabrielle Union in Baja East

The couples have taken over this week, no? Well, don’t get too comfortable, their reign continues! This time, with the ever-charming Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union. The duo kept it grown and sexy as they made an appearance at New York Fashion Week Men’s S/S 16 Opening Event. Gabby looked amazing in a Baja East cutout jumpsuit and a long trench. Serve it up!

6) Kylie Jenner in Shady Zeineldine

Style maven Kylie Jenner shut it down on the Espy Awards red carpet as she sparkled in a gold sequined dress by Shady Zeineldine. The eye-catching piece also features a high neck and long sleeves. The fit of this dress is impeccable! Go girl!

Signing Out — Esmesha

 

There are so many amazing style bloggers in the industry these days, but one of my longest-standing favorites is Karla Deras. She has finally made the foray into becoming a designer with her new line aptly titled, The Line By K. She is starting off with just three styles and my eyes were instantly drawn to the $94 Hana Skirt:

Like Karla, I’m always busy—which means I wear different variations of the same pieces almost every day. Pencil skirts are one of my deepest loves (I have one on now actually), thus this ponte stretch knit piece will get a ton of wear in my wardrobe. It has an elastic waistband, side slits for a sultry flair, and drawstring detailing for a sporty edge.

I can definitely see Kim K and Beyoncé slipping their curves into this!

Rihanna hit up one of my favorite restaurants, Mercer Kitchen, last night in a $248 Reformation floral print dress, Prada gold sandals, and a Christian Dior Diorama Handbag:

Pink lips peered through curly tendrils.

Her sold out dress has a low neckline, high slit, and delicate straps. She wore hers minus the belt.

New York Fashion Week: Men’s was the place to be this week, though celebs also soaked up the sun in Ischia, LA, and the world’s other fashion capitals.

Let’s see what they wore!

Gabrielle Union was a fixture during NYFW: Men’s, taking to the Rag & Bone Spring 2016 show in a $601 Greta Mixed Print Jacket, a $495 Crinkled Stretch Cotton Dress from the brand, grey strappy sandals, and a turnlock clutch. Hot!

In beautiful Ischia, Game of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel tried out faux locs and bared her toned abs and mile-long gams in a crop top and cutoffs. Gorgeous even when she’s casual—true beauty.

Before her head-turning 2015 ESPY Awards look, Kendall Jenner showed off her décollétage in an Anthony Vaccarello Plunging Neck Draped Blouse, $550 Victoria Beckham Classic Aviator Sunglasses, Mother Looker Ankle Fray Jeans, and a pair of those coveted Chanel espadrilles. Her off-duty style is impeccable.

A green ribbed slit-accented dress was Christina Milian’s choice while walking into her We Are Pop Culture Pop-up Shop in LA. Cute!

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Dionne Bromfield and she was clad in classic stripes at the I Am Juicy Fragrance Launch across the pond in a $228 Tank Stripe Dress from the brand.

Gigi Hadid looked every bit the model in the Big Apple, flaunting her enviable midriff in $345 Finlay & Co. Thurloe Sunglasses, a black crop top, $163 Black Orchid Denim Cargo Slouchy Alpha Olive Trousers, a $2,990 Saint Laurent Classic Sac du Jour Tote, and Rodarte Python Multi Ankle Boots. Hot!

Before shimmering and sparkling on the red carpet, Kylie Jenner skewed a bit Fall in a white shirt dress and grey suede thigh-high boots. It’s way too hot in NYC to wear something like this right now, but I’ll definitely be trying out this look once the temperatures drop.

So as I mentioned here, I’m super excited to attend this weekend’s Art for Life Benefit and work with Rush Philanthropic as part of Claire Cares!
In doing research about the event, I stumbled upon a few cool opportunities they’re offering up for auction, with proceeds benefitting the organization.

You can bid to win several one-of-a-kind encounters, from meeting Trey Songz and receiving two tickets to an upcoming show to hanging with Nas, going on air with Al Roker, having a 6 person dinner catered by Chef Roble, or having a 45 minute power meeting with Daymond John, CEO of FUBU.
