I’m heading to the New York Botanical Garden tonight to check out the Frida Kahlo exhibit: you all should pay it a visit if you haven’t already!
This week, celebs kept it a bit on the casual side. Denim was definitely in abundance and most stuck to their normal chic “uniforms” including comfortable, stretch-filled dresses, simple ankle-strap sandals, stripes, and some flats here and there.
Let’s see what they wore!
Kim Kardashian might now hold the Guinness World Record for the most trench coats and spandex pencil skirts owned by any one person in history. She stuck to her maternity wear formula while indulging in some retail therapy at Barney’s in LA. Her pieces du jour? An Isabel Marant Garnett Packaway Trench Coat, $210 Wolford Fatal Dress, and Jimmy Choo Kano Rope Sandals.
After her bold striped look this week, Jamie Chung kept it more subdued in all-white while out and about in the City of Angels—save for the pop of color with her blue bag.
Salma Hayek stuck to the classics in a black and white striped top, black trousers, and black sandals while at the 2015 Film Society of Lincoln Center Summer Talks. The woman legitimately needs nothing to look drop dead gorgeous!
A simple lace-hem LBD and side-swept hair were Jessica Parker Kennedy’s choices for the Starz Blunt Talk Series Premiere in LA. No complaints here.
Kate Bosworth was retro chic in Beverly Hills. For her day out, she donned a stripe button-front shirt with a contrast printed pocket, wide-leg, tie-waist jeans that hit at the ankle, and flats. Her style is impeccable!
More denim! Olivia Palermo was on hand at the StyleWatch x Revolve Fall Fashion Party in an off-the-shoulder Johanna Ortiz top, jeans, Dolce & Gabbana flats, and a two-tone croc bag. Does she ever have an off day?
Balmain dresses also make a splash on the red carpet! Emily Ratajkowski showed us why in a green fringe number at the We Are Your Friends Premiere in Lille, France. Olivier Rousteing deserves a round of applause for this one.
Black leather anyone? Rita Ora served up more than the daily dosage in her favorite studded newsboy cap, a skintight Alexander McQueen dress, and platform booties. She’s clearly ready for Fall!
Hannah Bronfman lent her DJ skills to the People Stylewatch x Revolve Clothing Fall Fashion Party last night in a Garden Print Bustier and matching skirt from Sophie Theallet’s Resort 2016 collection.
She snapped a cute pic with June Ambrose at the fete. They’re hot!
While Hannah rocked Manolo Blahnik heels along with Vita Fede and DiaboliKill jewels, the look was modeled with strappy sandals.
She’s a gorgeous girl with a great body, so it’s hard for her to go wrong. She looks cute!

Emily Ratajkowski shimmered and sparkled on the red carpet for the premiere of her new film, We Are Friends. She couldn’t be missed in an $8,955 David Koma Sequin Embellished Gown:
Her dress features allover reflective sequins, a black contrast panel, round neckline, and a slim fit.
Hot!
If you’re up for the splurge, get Emily’s dress here.
So I’ve been slipping with my pimpin with Mail Bombs: I’ll admit it!
I’m gonna try my best to crank out a few tomorrow, but in the meantime, we’ll solve each piece of reader mail in Wardrobe Queries!
Stephanie wrote, “I recently saw this picture of Emily B. on Instagram and immediately fell in LOVE with the aviators that she had on.”
She says, “[I’m] a classical/jazz vocalist and writer from Denver, Colorado. With a scheduled CD and book release (Nov 2015) this feature would provide great assistance in elevating my public profile.”
” My style is quite classic and chic with a modern sensibility.”
” I adore fashion as much as the next woman!”
” It’s instrumental in further defining my style, creativity and temperament as a musician.”
Hot! I love it! Classic and chic done right!

Jamie Chung looked ready for Fall at Sephora in Beverly Hills. It was all about stripes for the evening, as the bride-to-be wore a $596 Givenchy Sweater and $2,250 Proenza Schouler Pleated Front Skirt in the classic pattern:
Her colorblock sweater boasts variegated stripes, an allover ribbed pattern, round neckline, long sleeves, and a pullover style.
Her black and white stretch-wool twill skirt features accordion pleat detailing, a set-on waistband, reverse high-low hem, and darting at the back.
You know I live for her style. This pairing of stripes could’ve been an eyesore, but she did it right.
