The Afropunk Festival went down this weekend, with soul rocking performances by everyone from Grace Jones to Lenny Kravitz! I didn’t attend (did you? how was it?), but Fashion Bomb Daily street style photog Brandon Isralsky was on the scene, taking pictures of fly attendees.
Take a look:
This gorgeous Bombshell showed her style in striped pants, a cropped top, and a gauzy cover up. A wide brimmed hat shielded the sun. Hot!
Mirrored shades added pop to this mustard and cream ensemble.
This stylista oozed confidence in a polka dotted crop top and pants set.
It was also about the printed set for this Bombshell, who mixed stripes with splashes of yellow.
The men always represent! This king accessorized his jazzy digs with a crown and an Ankh necklace.
A shark tooth necklace, straw hat, and a septum ring were this attendees accessory choices for the day.
This gentleman stood with purpose in a white dashiki style shirt and jeans.
It was all about a more tailored look for this young man, who flaunted a shorts suit and hat.
A printed dress and round sunglasses created a bold look for this fashionista.
And lastly, a fringed suede top and bell bottoms seemed to epitomize Afropunk chic. Work!

Ruby was reveling from Beyonce’s swimsuit pic from this Weekend’s Fabulous Looks, and wondered, “Where did Beyonce get her one piece?”
Beyonce had a mother daughter moment with Blue Ivy in a $205 Acacia Swimwear Florence Swimsuit.
I had my doubts because a few front and back shots showed extra straps.
But it looks like Mrs. Carter got creative, perhaps pulling some strings from the side to create even more straps!

J. Lo took her signature slayage to Little Rock, Arkansas for American Idol’s next round of auditions. She went for church lady chic in a dress by Australian designer Alex Perry.
Her dress was modeled with black pumps, though she kept the summer tones going with Christian Louboutin white So Kates.

Call it the Rihanna effect! But ever since our favorite Bajan Bombshell became the face of Christian Dior, the brand has been killing it with their accessories, particularly their sunglasses. Their So Real and Technologic shades have found fans in tons of tinsel town beauties.

Of course as a Dior girl, Rihanna was one of the first to wear the mirrored So Real shades for the brand’s show during Paris Fashion Week.
Not too long after, Lupita Nyong’o was spied sporting a pair of So Real’s for a photo call in Cannes.
And dazzled in another pair for Dior’s Haute Couture presentation.
The Kardashian/Jenner bunch are super fans, especially youngest sister Kylie! She’s been spied in both the Technologic and the So Real iterations from red carpets to beach vacays.

And I’m a fan! I’ve splurged on silver and bi-color for the summer.
The stunners are a splurge, priced at $500-$560 per pair, but I’d say they’re worth it;)
