We’re going to the Caribbean with today’s fabulous Bombshell, Shenique from Turks & Caicos:
She says, “I am a celebrity hair and makeup artist (www.shequemakeup.com) and a new fashion blogger with a twist.”
“The fashion focus is less of myself and more of people I style locally or virtually, but primarily visitors to Turks & Caicos.”
“I have introduced a fashion bloggers program called Sheque (prounced chic) Fashion Bloggers where I team up, organize and shoot with fashion bloggers that visit Providenciales,Turks & Caicos in exchange for mutually beneficial stronger social media visibility.”
” Please get in touch if you ever visit! I am a fan of Fashion Bomb Daily. Attached are images for bombshell of the day. I hope to meet sometime.”
I hope to meet you too! I’d love to visit Turks & Caicos! And Boom: You’re a Bombshell.

Serena Williams is in NYC for The US Open! She joined tennis greats Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova, Grigor Dimitrov, Rafael Nadal, Nick Kyrgios, Genie Bouchard, Madison Keys, John McEnroe, Andre Agassi, and Pete Sampras for a Nike NYC Street Tennis Event.
This young lady looked electric in a red printed dress, comfy sneakers, and flash tats.
Athletic wear was given a twist with gym short and socks with sandals.
Cowboy boots peaked out from under this handkerchief hem dress.
This Afropunk festival goer had some chic business to handle! I’m loving her clear briefcase and its fuzzy red contents.
And lastly, Fashion Bomb friend Reign felt the vibes in a rainbow splashed, psychedelic ensemble.
And there you have it!
What do you think of Afropunk Style Part 2?

Sasha Obama and the family returned home after their vacation in Martha’s Vineyard. She kept it stylish and cute (as always) in a $325 Tory Burch Embroidered Chambray Dress:
Older sister Malia was spotted in the frock a day earlier.
Their chambray dress features a sleeveless silhouette and decorative embroidery.
Though we write about fashion all day every day here on FBD, we rarely touch on the subject of hair. I recently met Yummie, founder of YummyHair Extensions (YummyExtensions.com), and decided to ask her more about her brand and why you should definitely try out her tresses.
Yummie says, “I’ve always been a hair lover! I’ve always been one to wear hair extensions for as long as I can remember. I spent so much on poor quality extensions that had to be replaced every 2-3 weeks. My husband, a Finance professional, would complain bitterly about the amount of money I was spending on hair each month. The business started after I had my second child–I needed a career that would allow me to have a flexible schedule with having multiple kids. A lot of my family members would always refer to me for counsel when purchasing hair extensions. I was always the go to person for that. My mom was visiting at the time, helping with the baby, and she suggested I look into it. My background is in computer science and I worked in consulting. [The hair business] seemed like an unrelated career, but it was a passion of mine. I enjoyed hair and talking about hair, so I gave it a try.”
She continues, “My close family members were my first set of customers. We started on Facebook about 5 years ago. My very first non family member customer is still my customer today! She’s based in California. It grew from there. People had an interest in the product I was carrying. Every year, I would improve upon the product line. That was how Yummy Extensions was born..”
So what separates YummyHair from other brands? Yummie says, “Our hair is 100% virgin human hair. In addition to having 100% human hair, all the cuticles in our hair are aligned in the same direction. This prevents the tangling and matting you might see in other brands. And even though other brands might sell human hair, it may not be hair that will be long lasting. Another great thing about our brand is the amount of control we have in the production of our hair We have complete control from the beginning to the end. We weft all of our hair here in the United States. They’re neat, thin, flat, and the beards are cut short. There’s a lot of extra work that goes into the product we offer.” They also are known for their curly tresses (apparently finding great curly hair can be a daunting task).
She continues, “Everything we offer is custom made. And we have exceptional customer service. If you want to speak to someone or have inquires, there’s a number you can call to reach us immediately. We provide support to clients before, during, and after their purchase. It’s never a matter of you buying from us, and you don’t know what you’re going to get . It’s about integrity. We let people know what they’re getting and what they should be expecting.”
Because of the high quality of the hair, you can expect to pay $160-$250 per bundle. For the price, you can expect to keep your hair for 6 months to a year (Yummie has clients that have kept their hair for several years, depending on how they take care of it!). Did we mention Kelis is a fan?

She sized up and wore the top as a dress, finished off her look with Christian Louboutin Tucson Booties and an Alexander Wang Metallic Clutch. The top comes in various shades of gray.
It’s giving me Balmain ca. 2010 or Kanye’s post apocalyptic collection. There’s something about clothes that look worn, huh?
At any rate, purchase Karrueche’s piece here.
Her asymmetric two-tone skirt hits at mid-thigh for a leg-baring length.
Her black suede sandals feature sheer mesh stretch insets, 4″ heels, an open-toe silhouette, curved cutout cage detailing, and slingback straps with snap closures.
Simple and chic no?
