Looks like a post on shoe designers of color you should know will be coming soon. Are there any other shoe brands you know who are designed by people of color?
Confidence in a Blend of Comfort and Style
You already know that underwear is a necessity, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. The days of mindlessly grabbing ten-packs from department store racks are long gone. Today, you’ll find multiple options out there when it comes to the style and fabric of your skivvies, so don’t settle for the basic options. Let’s take a look at why you should expand your underwear options below.
A Growing Industry
According to FashionBeans, the men’s underwear industry is currently booming, with an estimated worth of about $6.5 billion. A higher demand for variety and closer attention to how underwear plays into men’s fashion overall has led to a greater focus on how your underwear style can not only keep you comfortable, but also boost your confidence by looking great.
Quite a Few Options to Choose From
Everyone’s tastes are different, and your preferred choice of underwear may differ drastically from another’s. Though sometimes a specific style will stand out as the most logical choice depending on your lifestyle and level of activity. Start by taking a look at a few of the most common:
Boxers. While a comfortable cut, boxers offer little support, and they aren’t an ideal choice to wear under tighter pants, bunching up in an unflattering manner. They’ll suit you if you don’t wear tighter fitting pants, and tend to show the most diverse range when it comes to color and design choice.
Briefs. These will offer you excellent support, and won’t be as visible under tighter pants or shorts. They’re available in a wide range of color and designs as well, so you can hold on to your sense of style.
Boxer Briefs. A comfortable compromise between the other styles, Bloomberg Business describes them as the perfect mix of comfort and coverage. They tend to work for the majority of guys, regardless of body type.
A Greater Emphasis on Color and Design
Sure, that pair of boxers may be comfortable and serve their purpose, but as already evidenced above, comfort can still be found in some of the more refined types of underwear. Once you’ve found the type of cut and comfort that suits you best, it’s time to look at style.
GQ points out that underwear can mesh with other pieces of your outfit and doesn’t have to be purely functional. For example, companies like VKNagrani offer diverse styles of underwear for men that not only provide support and comfort, but also keep you looking classy and fashion-forward. Their UV1 Boxer Brief is just one of many in a line made with luxury fabric. If a colorful design is more your style, you might opt for the Koi Fish Boxer Brief or Geisha Boxer Brief.
Put It All Together and Boost Your Confidence
Knowing your underwear looks great makes you feel great, even if it isn’t visible to the outside world. With the right type of underwear, you can’t help but project confidence. A little thought to your underwear goes a long way toward looking and feeling your best.

Jourdan Dunn did it for the ‘Gram recently in a pink embroidered black mini dress by Ukrainian designer Vyshyvanka by Vita Kin:

Trina posed on Instagram in a $365 McQ Alexander McQueen Glitter Logo Sweatshirt, $191 Mesh Leggings, from the brand, and $1,619 Valentino 1973 Rockstud Swarovski Chevron Slingback Pumps:

Her black and pink cotton glitter logo sweatshirt showcases a ribbed round neck, long sleeves, ribbed cuffs, and a ribbed hem.

Her pumps feature buckled ankle straps, Swarovski crystal embellishment in a multicolor chevron pattern, and the brand’s iconic platinum studs.

I loved the sweatshirt and pumps, but those leggings without a tunic or jacket covering them are a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen!

Keri Hilson flaunted her mile-long stems while out and about in West Hollywood in a $410 A.L.C. Fremont Crop Top and Suede Fringe Sandals:

Her white semi-sheer crocheted crop top features a jewelneck and elbow-length sleeves.

I couldn’t pinpoint her exact sandals, but these suede fringe pairs are similar styles.

Jennifer Lopez left very little to the imagination while at her 1OAK Birthday Celebration in a Bao Tranchi Black Sheer Cutout Dress:

The designer is a favorite of celebs like Rita Ora, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, and more. Jennifer’s exact frock isn’t up for grabs, but below are some bodysuits in a similar style.

This is a bit too racy for me, but what a way to ring in 46!
