Happy Friday!
Sure, it’s Fashion Week, but our regularly scheduled program marches on. Take a look at today’s Fashion Bomber, Nick from New Orleans:
The Fashion Student writes, ” I would love to be featured as a “bomber of the day” on your blog.“
” I’ve been a fan of the blog for quite a while now, and I’m always inspired by the some of people featured.”
” I would say my style is very eclectic.”
” I love having fun with my ensembles because to me, fashion/style is all about the enjoyment of dressing yourself in a way that signifies who you are.”
” Attached are a few photos of some of the ways I express the eclectic kind of guy I am when it comes to styling myself.”
” I’d love it if you took a look!”
Hot! Very fashion forward and sleek.

Lala Anthony gave fever at last night’s Kid’s Rock! Fashion Show in a $395 Elizabeth and James Lunai Sleeveless Two-Tone Black and White Dress and Christian Louboutin black pumps:

Hot! or Hmm…to Lala’s look?
Tadashi Shoji’s Spring 2016 collection was absolutely breathtaking! With a continuous blend of soft pastels, sheer stunners and an understated elegance, the designer garnered inspiration from both Japan and the classic aesthetic. But, get this, each look presented a different story and the meticulous detail within each garment proved that more is always better!

Shoji stuck to the concept of feminine flair this season. While clinging to A-line silhouettes, floral embellishments and layered tulle midi skirt, the models looked as if they were (literally) floating down the runway. I also applaud the underlying whimsical appeal behind a few of the designer’s gowns.

There were even a few trends spotted amongst Shoji’s delicate ensembles – from obi belts to capes to see-through sweatshirts, the presentation successfully brought forth innovative creativity while incorporating familiar themes.

All in all, this was a great collection! As aforementioned, Shoji certainly has a knack for injecting signature elements from his culture into each individual piece. It almost seems as if there’s a subtle sultriness etched deep within his designs. Of course – there were a few plunging necklines and tons of sheerness but the sophistication of each look was never subdued. And, that’s what I love!

And, that about sums it up! So, what did you think of Tadashi Shoji’s Ready to Wear Spring 2016 collection?

It’s the first day of Fashion Week! So I decided to bless the occasion with an artful Bombshell.
Take a look at Naballah from Trinidad and Tobago:
She writes, “My style is quite eclectic and influenced by my religious beliefs and culture.”
” The diversity and beauty of the Caribbean is apparent in my styles with many different hues.”
” I love playing around with ideas on how stylish I can be whilst staying covered, because it pushes me to become more creative since I don’t show any skin.”
” My style is built around combining a variety of fashion eras in my outfits, through the use of unexpected colors palettes, prints and textures.”
” Style blogging is such a deep passion of mine.”
” Everything I wear I’ve designed and sewn.”
” I love the element of creativity and so I consider my body a canvas and my garments the paint brushes, where I get to create ART when the two meet.”

Beautiful! Show ’em how to be covered and chic!
