This Fashion Week has been super busy, from attending shows and dinners to twirling on TV and Radio (I was on the Tom Joyner Show this morning? Did you hear me!?!).
I’ve been doing Fashion Week for years and wanted to give you guys something different this season by way of exclusive video content. It’s a lot more time consuming that normal (and we have to wait to see the results), but it’s been awesome breaking out of my comfort zone and doing something different! That said, I’m kinda backed up on the daily Style Diaries, so I’ll give you a glimpse into what I’ve been doing the past few days.
I covered Day 1 (where I met Kimora Lee Simmons and Rihanna, hello!).
I’m excited to announce that I’m a Toyota Ambassador again! As you may know, Lexus is a division of Toyota Motor Sales, USA. So, for the next few days, I am driving a Lexus NX 300 Hybrid to get around. What do you think of the car?
The next day, Sheen Magazine threw me a Fashion Week brunch, and honored yours truly and Bobby Roaché with Fashion Innovator Awards!
Yandy Smith and Quad Webb Lunceford popped by.
I really wanted to be comfortable, so slipped on my most elasticated heels by MSGM, and a Suno dress.
I headed over the LaQuan Smith presentation afterwards, and interviewed LaQuan for Fashion Bomb TV.
I chatted it up with Christina Milian as well, who rocked a form fitting AQ/AQ dress and Aquazzura heels.
And yesterday, I stopped by Essence Live to sit on their ‘Slayed or Shade’ Panel, and talked Fashion Week Chic with host Dana Blair, hairstylist Ursula Stephen, and Empire’s Ta’Rhonda Jones:
I rocked a Topshop sequined top, Topshop pants, and a Theory blazer.
Later that night, Isoul Harris of Uptown Magazine invited me, Ty Hunter, Alicia L Quarles, Legendary Damon, V Bozeman, and more to the Zac Posen show, as part of his partnership with American Express Platinum.
So yes, I’ve been a busy bee;)
