Eiza Gonzalez was spotted at the She’s Funny That Way Los Angeles Premiere in the same $152 House of CB Black Lace Caprice Slip Dress Jasmine Tookes originally sported back in April:

Eiza paired the frock with nude pointed-toe pumps, while Jasmine pulled her hair back and anchored her look with wine-hued shoes.
The sultry slip dress features lace appliqués at the bust, a low-cut neckline, adjustable spaghetti straps, and an asymmetric hem with mesh edging.

Both ladies looked gorgeous!
What do you think? Who wore it better?

Maria Menounos showed up for yet another day of work at E! News in a $395 T by Alexander Wang Sleeveless Pleated Dress and $124 Tony Bianco Alita Sandals:

Her double-face racerback dress features vertical seam detailing, a flared skirt, pleats, contrast piping at the neckline, and an exposed front zip.

Her blue-grey nubuck sandals boasts crossover straps and 4.7″ heels.

I’m loving her style choices of late.

Are you feeling it?

Christina Milian indulged in some retail therapy in West Hollywood in a $14 Forever 21 Barbie Graphic Boxy Tee:

She completed her look with a MCM Black White Stripe Studs Backpack.

Her lightweight knit tee features the brand’s logo on the front, a boxy silhouette, short sleeves, and a cropped length.

Cute t-shirt for a great price! The backpack is a bit flashy for my taste, but I like the idea of wearing that silhouette instead of a regular tote.

Christina’s t-shirt is only available in plus-size in the US here, or in Canada here.
Would you wear it?

Peruvian-American actress Isabela Moner took a break from Nickelodeon to attend the 30th Imagen Awards. She took it back a few seasons in a Jason Wu Fall 2013 Red Peplum Train Halter Top and Black Trousers:

On the runway, her look was accented with a sleek chignon and strappy cutout sandals.

A great look to pull from the recent archives!

What do you think? Hot! or Hmm…?

Pyer Moss Designer Kerby Jean-Raymond is never one to sidestep large social and political issues. He famously created the viral ‘They Have Names’ t-shirt after the Mike Brown shooting, and created a ‘Juneteenth’ tee for brand fan Usher to perform on the 4th of July.
His designs show an awareness of black history and offer an understated yet poingnant indictment of current racial incidents.
So it comes as no surprise that the Haitian-American designer, who plans to debut womenswear for his Spring 2016 collection, has decided to tackle issues of race and racism with a short film during his upcoming presentation.
According to an article in the Washington Post penned by Robin Givhan, “With his own money, a video crew of friends and no definitive plan, [Jean Raymond] has been reaching out to an eclectic group of people, including his fashion mentor Kay Unger, Nicole Bell, whose fiance Sean Bell was killed by New York City police officers, Wanda Johnson, whose son’s shooting death was depicted in the film “Fruitvale Station,” as well as artists such as Kehinde Wiley, entertainers, sports figures including Victor Cruz, activists and writers.”
According to the Post, “The video is not meant to be confrontational or angry. It is not meant to be black people venting. “It’s not an attack,” Jean-Raymond says. “It’s like my version of ‘We Are the World.’””
I can’t wait to see what he comes up with!
We’ll keep you posted.

Heidi Klum was spotted out and about in the Big Apple in a $284 Elizabeth and James Embroidered Mesh Crop Top and $195 Cooper Embroidered Mesh Pencil Skirt:

Her silk top showcases a cropped length, short sleeves, triangle-effect embroidery, and a round collar.

Her matching skirt features a pencil silhouette, silk trim, and a sheer hem panel.

I liked this!

Happy Friday!
Between getting ready for my final semester of grad school (yay!) to managing my day-to-day tasks, it seems like life has been a juggling act. But, I always strive to remain optimistic! Anywho, I’m SUPER excited about heading out to see J. Cole perform tonight at the Forest Hills Drive Tour – so let’s get straight to some of our favorite looks this week.
Let’s go!
1) Chanel Iman in Alexander Wang

Chanel Iman was an absolute vision as she flaunted her enviable gams in a silk green number by Alexander Wang. The sultry piece features a thigh-high slit, a plunging neckline and a fitted silhouette. The model added a bit of pizzazz to her fit with a black feather bag and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. Hot!
2) Marjorie Harvey in Valentino

Fashion killa Marjorie Harvey always rocks the hottest looks, doesn’t she? This time around, the style maven donned a sheer-sleeved Valentino frock and studded nude heels. I absolutely loved the planet print on this dress – it’s a bit unexpected and fun. To top off her look, Marjorie also uplifted a high-bun and drop earrings. She betta werk!
3) Jennifer Lopez in Thierry Mugler

My gosh! The first time I scrolled past this picture of J.Lo on my IG feed I was beyond speechless! What is there not to like?! The American Idol judge/singer shut it down in a navy, eyelet embellished dress by Thierry Mugler and blue snakeskin Casadei pumps. This particular dress was also a part of the brand’s Fall 2015 presentation. C’mon legs!
4) Gabrielle Union in Stella McCartney

Cute couple alert! Gabrielle Union and hubby Dwyane Wade made a quick appearance at the Samsung Launch Party while both rocking some stylish threads. While her boo chose accents of white and blue, Gabby went the monochrome route in an ivory two-piece set by Stella McCartney. Her pants boast a high waist and loose-fit as her crop top houses long sleeves. She looks amazing!
5) Kylie Jenner in Nicolas Jebran

Kylie Jenner makes yet another appearance on our Look of the Week feature in another creation by Nicolas Jebran! Her multicolored minidress was quite the eye-catcher! With a bold print and a body-hugging fit, this look screamed sexy. The fashionista kept her shoe game simple with black sandals and even rocked a pair of sleek sunnies. Yes!
6) KeKe Palmer in Bec & Bridge

To round of our post, we have the lovely KeKe Palmer! The actress/singer took to Instagram to snap a few shots on a nearby balcony in her black Bec & Bridge cutout dress. The piece also features a halter neck top and elastic shoulder straps. Talk about gorgeous! And, I gotta admit – I’m loving the curls on her!

Happy Friday everyone!
We only have one more left in August: I hope you all are making it count!
There were a smattering of celebs out and about this week. They made the mean streets of New York City, red carpet events, and film festivals their stylish playgrounds.
Let’s see what they wore!

No pants, no problem! Rihanna flaunted her toned gams in a long-sleeve number, a gold hand bracelet, and her favorite Tom Ford sandals.

Ciara kept it cute and casual for a day of pampering in NYC. She slipped on a heathered t-shirt dress and platform loafers for her day out, with red lips for a pop of color. Cute!

Jordin Sparks gave away free copies of her new album outside of the Apollo Theater in a $455 Sandro Riviera Lace Dress: a Summer-perfect look if you ask me.

Sonam Kapoor always serves up glitz and glamour and she definitely turned heads at the Indian Film Festival in Melbourne, Australia. She donned a Paolo Sebastian Couture gown. Hot!

I’ve been a bit obsessed with Olivia Cooke since the start of Bates Motel and she’s following up her great role on the hit TV show as the main character of Earl and the Dying Girl. She shimmered and sparkled at the film’s Premiere at the Locarno Film Festival in a mirror-embellished Marc Jacobs frock. I lived for this ensemble.

Jessica Alba keeps growing her billion dollar business! She gave back to the kids at a State Bag “Celebrate Back to School” event in a black tank, printed skirt, and sandals.

An all-black ensemble always gets the job done doesn’t it? Selena Gomez opted for one such look in NYC. No complaints here.

Rita’s chainmail-embellished halter top and Citizens of Humanity Corey Boyfriend Jeans felt a bit outdated in their approach, but I did love her rainbow-hued hair!

Rounding out the week was actress Daphne Joy. She was the lady in red in Hollywood in an Abyss by Abby gown that showed off her curves.
Who had your favorite look this week?
Gemma Chan opted for supreme femininity at The Bad Education Movie London Premiere. For the occasion, she slipped on a $2,195 Dolce & Gabbana Floral Print Cotton Dress and $2,236 Red Leather Mini Tote from the brand:

Her cotton dress channels a 60’s-inspired vibe. It features an allover floral print, fitted bodice, a shirt-style button front and collar, nipped-in waist, and a full skirt.

Her red calf leather mini tote showcases round top handles, a magnetic closure, and a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap.

This was charming!
