Count on Tom Ford to keep fanatics of his creations on the tips of their toes. The designer took his eponymous line from the quintessential catwalk – usually filled with throngs of fashion’s elite seated in the crowd – this season to give us something a little…different. The vibe was slightly more intimate, but electric: consistent with what Studio 54 and Soul Train were in their heydays. But instead of a jubilant Diana Ross shimmying and cutting a rug with Andy Warhol, models danced to Lady Gaga’s pulsating new single “I Want Your Love”, as the singer, herself, played emcee – and model – to Tom Ford’s beautifully clad affair.
There were tons of 70’s inspired looks for this season’s assortment. Taking references from an era as glamorous as disco made this collection an eye-catching one.
Colorful party dresses bedecked in sequins and embellishments glistened under a lit runway as models grooved and sashayed.
The silhouette was a bit more relaxed for Ford this season. Wide leg trousers, tops, and even coats seemed to flow effortlessly with each move; almost weightless in a sense.
Ford is never one to shy away from textures, and his play on them this season was as impeccable as the last. The standouts? A gold lamé, croc-embossed overcoat, lightweight cropped jackets peppered with evenly spaced grommets, scores of silk, and slinky lace dresses and tops perfect for next season’s best dressed socialite.
Though the collection was more concise than usual, there wasn’t much more needed. There was just enough glitz and glamour to liven up a season where everything seems to be on the cusp of blossoming. The likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Jennifer Lopez are certain to add a few pieces to their wardrobes. Tom Ford proved once again that when it comes to womenswear, he knows exactly what his customer wants and how confident, sexy and commanding she wants to feel while she wears him. And with a collection as dynamic as this, we can’t help but wonder when and where the next soirée will be.

Rihanna was pretty in pink at the Dior Spring 2016 Show in a Fall 2015 Couture Pink Fur Sleeve Cape Dress and Black Patent Thigh High Boots from the French fashion house:
Her frock was paired with a white wispy dress and platform sandals on the Fall 2015 Couture runway.
I’m feeling a little under the weather today. In fact, I’ve been battling a slight stint of sickness this week but, nevertheless, I’m always up for blogging! So, I’ll attempt to keep things brief as we indulge in some of our favorite looks this week.
Reality vixen Laura Govan skewed sultry vibes as she donned a revealing black number by Madame X. Her form-fitting gown features a halter neckline, silver detailing and a statement-making front cutout. She finished off her look with gold pumps and matching arm candy. Hot!
Fashion favorite Amal Clooney was spotted out and about in New York City earlier this week! The gorgeous style maven looked every bit of ‘effortless chic’ as she uplifted a green Versace silk pleated dress. Her simple ‘fit showcased her impressive gams and the bold hue looked amazing on her. Love it!
amFAR Milano 2015 was an event jam-packed with sartorial greatness! The stars showed up and showed out as they flaunted their finest threads for anxious onlookers. But, no one shined quite as bright as supermodel Naomi Campbell – she slayed in a sheer black creation by Margiela. The fashion heavyweight also rocked a striking red lip and tons of diamonds. She looks great, no?
Okay okay, Jennifer Lopez has been killing the game! I mean, every time I scroll past her on my Instagram feed, she’s always on point. You gotta give the girl her props. So, when I spotted her in this Resort 2016 Mugler long sleeve cutout dress and silver Casadei pumps, I knew she deserved a spot in this post. Slay on!
Singer Alesha Deixon was on hand for the Pride of Britain Awards 2015 and she sizzled as she rocked a Michael Costello sequin rock crystal gown. Her dress boasts a high neck, a low-cut back, long sleeved and a sleek silhouette. I liked this look – it comes off a little demure but it also injects a bit of sex appeal. Yes!
It’s Friday, and I’m working on a monster of a post about Fall Trends!
I’m going to keep my head down and keep pushing til it’s done, but 1st: Christopher from Memphis, Tennessee:
He says, “I am highly interested in being featured as a daily fashion bomber!”
” I absolutely love your blog and all things fashion!”
” Here are a few pics of my style!”
” Thanks so much for your time!”
Hot! Your shoe game is on point and I love the pops of color.

The Balmain Spring 2016 After Party was pretty much just a re-staging of the catwalk affair, as all of the supermodels who strutted down the runway showed up in the collection’s just-debuted looks.
Check out who was in attendance:
Jourdan Dunn showed off her mile-long stems in a long-sleeve suede and embellished frock and green suede strappy sandals from the Resort collection. Hot!
Joan Smalls, Kendall Jenner, and Lily Donaldson were all about neutrals in suede separates. I mean does it get much more stunning than these ladies?
Isabeli Fontana shimmered and sparkled in a long-sleeve velvet and crystal number. I would love for this dress to show up in my closet in time for the holidays. A girl can dream!
Gigi Hadid smoldered in a long-sleeve beige lace-up number with boyfriend Joe Jonas not far behind. This was fab!
Younger sister Bella served up dark romance in a long-sleeve, mesh-accented LBD and black cage sandals.
Not sure how Lily Aldridge avoided a wardrobe failure, so I definitely salute her for daring to wear this ensemble!
I wasn’t too keen on Doutzen Kroes’s black cage cutout sandals with her white crisscross cutout mini dress, but she’s always gorgeous no matter what she wears.
Alessandra Ambrosio was white hot in a long-quilted coat and lace-up mini dress. I loved this!
Hailey went completely minimal with barely-there makeup and only ankle-strap sandals as accents, while Jenny added a bit more glam with a half-up, half-down hairstyle, hoop earrings, glittering rings, and suede pumps.
The stretch crepe dress features gold-plaited chain detailing at the waist and hips and a bodycon silhouette.
