We’re going down to the A with today’s Bombshell, Nadege from Atlanta:
She says, “I would describe my style as “Sophisticated Chic””
“P.S. I love what your doing may God continue to bless you and guide your steps to further growth. Good DAY!” Thanks!
More here:
Sophisticated Chic is an apt description. Werk it, Nadege!

Balmain’s trademarks are impossible to miss these days—including but not limited to needlework that pulls inspiration from old world fashion, lustrous satin, curve-hugging fits, and slits both up and down to there. Olivier Rousteing has truly made his mark and whereas his designs normally cost a pretty penny (more accurately often a million of them), his latest collaboration with fast fashion retailer H&M will be much more affordable, with the same glamorous aesthetic.
Signatures of the French fashion house are on display from velvet embroidered LBDs to wide, waist-cinching belts. Pearl embellishment makes a statement on long-length cardigans, while silky separates make the case for day-to-night dressing.
The looks are almost identical to the assortments Rousteing shows on the runway and we have high hopes in the quality department as H&M hasn’t failed us in this past. The ensembles will bring the brand’s quintessential cool, sultry flair, and moxie to the average woman. Who won’t feel amazing in a pair of forest green suede skinnies or a statement-making gold draped necklace?
The #balmainarmy will go nuts for these ensembles, as will pretty much every fashion-loving woman on the planet.
The collection goes on sale on November 5th, so mark your calendars! And make sure to use #HMBalmaination with all your spoils.
I work pretty long hours and don’t do too many after work events unless they’re really special or related to my craft! That means I only get to bring out my beautiful and shiny bags on the weekends: my daily tote has to be big enough to fit my laptop and all the other things I lug around with me day-to-day. As I’m running to and fro once Saturday hits— getting some cool nail art, catching a film, drinks with friends—crossbody bags are my saviors. One I cannot get enough of right now is the $483 Furla Girasole Metropolis:
Yellow is my favorite color, thus I was instantly drawn to the fur-flapped bag in the girasole (Italian for “sunflower”) shade. Its chain link strap is chic, along with its metal hardware.
The bag also comes in hot pink and a Winter-perfect rose.
You can also get it in metallic gold leather, neon colorblocking, a black and white graffiti print, and more.
Her grey fleece sweatshirt features a colorful rainbow sequin-embellished “Guru” graphic, hi-lo hemline, thumbholes for added warmth, and a hand-twisted ribbed neckline.
Priyanka’s exact kicks aren’t up for grabs, but you can get a similar pair below.
There’s no denying that America’s Next Top Model is one of the OG reality television shows, as well as ushering in a slew of fashion-centric series. We’ve seen supermodels and stars made from the show, and we’re fairly certain smizing levels spiked after Tyra Banks shed light on the age-old modeling technique. This is why we’re sad to announce that the show is coming to an end after twenty-two unbelievable cycles.
Tyra shared the unfortunate news in an Instagram post yesterday afternoon, stating “Our die hard fans know we’ve expanded the definition of beauty, presented what “flawsome” is, tooched and booched and boom boom boomed, shown the world how to show their neck, rocked couture/catalogue/commercial poses, have found our (and your) light, strutted countless runways, gone on tons of go-sees, added guys to the girls mix, and have traveled around the globe and back again. Yeah, it’s time. It really is. Wow, I am SO proud of what Top Model has done.”
ANTM has been a go-to for all of us high-fashion loving women and it really shed light on what it takes to actually make it in the modeling industry. Your “look” is just one of many factors that determines what it takes to make it to the top—with poise, grace, being articulate, and professionalism also weighing heavily on a model’s success.
It also broke down the barriers of diversity with models of all shapes and sizes, and some who were transgender. We’ll never forget Miss Jay storming the catwalk and teaching the newcomers how it’s done, Jay Manuel looking flawless on every single episode, and the slew of guest judges that kept it exciting.
This is truly a big loss for television and the fashion industry, but we know Tyra has many things up and on her sleeves. We can’t wait to see what she does next.
At $69, the price is right. And it’s super cute!

The fourth episode of Empire’s second season is going down in a little over an hour! To whet your appetite, we have some sneak peeks of what the characters will be serving up in the fashion department!
Cookie loves to go bold, thus it was no surprise to see her decked out in head-to-toe Moschino Resort 2016 red leather pieces with chain-link detailing.
Cookie stuck to the collection’s styling, adding in some blunt bangs for that signature Lyon edge.
Last, but not least is the Empire patriarch, Lucious Lyon who is forever draped in an expertly-tailored suit. One of his choices for the latest episode was a navy pairing from David August. He accented his look with Saint Laurent boots and a pocket square from the brand which gets a lot of play on the show already: Tom Ford.
Her black and green midi dress features sheer loop detailing, a mock neckline, short sleeves, darts at the bust, a sheath silhouette, straight hem, and is lined at the bust and hips.
