She grabbed a pic with Tamala Jones and Yvette Nicole Brown.
See her taffeta dress below in yellow.
Her clutch imitates a chocolate box with inset resin detailing and a polished metal frame.
Her shoes have a multi snake upper and a 4.5″ heel.
Love everything about this! John Paul Ataker is a dope designer (check out a few more of his styles here), the clutch is cute, and the shoes are Bomb. Hot!

I love this! It’s perfect for Fall (though a bit pricey).

Designer Dawn Smart said, “[This collection is for] the girl in the city who has that little oasis upstairs. She finds her solitude and peace in that moment by herself. She has an opportunity to bring that down to the street and boardroom. Our woman is very empowered, she has somewhere to go all the time, whether it’s to a soccer game with kids or wherever it is.”
Accordingly, the showing brimmed over with bright jumpsuits, dresses with sheer mesh and tulle, and flirty skirts. Made mostly out of woven jersey, each piece had stretch, and thus could fit a range of shapes and sizes.

Whew! New York Fashion Week was a complete blur, no?
We’ve witnessed some amazing collections and I’m excited to see what designers will present in London. But, as we continue to recover from the previous sartorial overload, I figured we’d get into some of our favorite looks of the week.
Solange Knowles definitely had an eventful week as she scoured the streets of New York in some eye-popping ‘fits. But, our absolute fave was her 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2016 presentation Zimmermann get-up. The statement-making piece features bell sleeves, a flared silhouette and horizontal sheer panels. Solo also paired her Fashion Week look with Schutz’s Karlyanna Caged Boots. Hot!
Ciara’s been slaying lately! The songstress stopped by Bravo’s Watch What Happens Livewhile showcasing her enviable legs in a mutli-colored set by Fausto Puglisi. I went crazy when I saw this on Instagram – the colors here are everything. Go girl!
Well, well.. it looks like Naomie Harris makes yet another appearance in our Look of the Week feature. While the actress uplifted golden tones in last week’s post, she flaunted some serious skin this week in a sultry David Koma number. Her gown boasts a lace-up detail and certainly increases the sex appeal. To top off the look, she rocked berry colored nails, a sleek ‘do and black heels. Werk!
Retro vibes were the inspiration behind J.Lo’s Diane von Furstenberg printed set! The American Idol judge served every bit of class as she smized in an ensemble from the designer’s Resort 2016 collection. With bold red lips and a 70’s-inspired coif, Jenny proved that a conservative take on fashion can also be quite intriguing. I’m here for it!
The lovely Zendaya was on-hand for the 2016 Miss America competition while donning a jaw-dropping silk gown by Michael Kors. Honestly, I adore the simplicity of this look! From her gorgeous curls to the amazing use of accessories, this style maven took this gown to a whole new level.
And, to round things off, we have Rita Ora! The songstress/actress attended the 2015 Harper’s Bazaar Icons Event in a black creation by Prada. The dress features some pretty intricate detailing including embellished long sleeves, a velvet collar and sheer panels. I also liked the dramatics of her makeup. She looks great!
Her jumpsuit is part of Adidas’s collection with Rita Ora. The black stretch piece features sheer color-shifting fabric panels on the shoulders and back, a mock turtleneck style, and 3-Stripes down the sides.
