Jourdan Dunn is always on-hand for the Burberry Prorsum show and this season was no exception! She repped the brand in a $10,000 Burberry Prorsum Shearling Coat, $1,150 Burberry Brit Leather Taped Suede Skirt, and $950 Burberry Overfield Open Toe Booties:

Her tan shearling coat hails from the Pre-Fall 2015 collection. It features concealed snap front fastenings and shorn side panels.

Her black mini skirt is crafted from leather taping over suede. It showcases a natural-rise waist, box pleat detailing, and an A-line silhouette.

Her black pebbled leather booties feature 4″ stacked heels with the British fashion house’s logo plate, an open-toe silhouette, covered vamps, adjustable ankle-wrap straps, and light golden hardware.

Such a great look for Fall!

If you’re up for the splurge, get Jourdan’s coat here, skirt here, and booties here.
Are you feeling it?

If the Fall 2015 RTW Collection ushered in an era of uncertainty and excitement with the rise of Alessandro Michele (newest Creative Director behind Gucci), this Spring 2016 RTW Collection took us firmly in the land of his rejuvenated Gucci woman, back from her respite. There was literally land and sea printed on a bohemian-style dress with terms like Obedience, Generosity, and Sincerity. If those words were any indication of where the brand is going, I’m willing to go along for the ride.

The school girl ensembles originally shown in Fall 2015 made quite a few repeat appearances — berets, flowers askew, signature Gucci red-and-green striping, oversized reading glasses, and pleated skirts were in heavy rotation. It was a remarkable thing the first time, but in a second take, it makes me wonder whether I should come to expect this in every collection. Some things didn’t strike a chord for me, including a pineapple tie paired with a white suit with a snake wrapped on the pant leg and a striped shirt with flowers over the chest.
The journey was a bit disjointed for me. Sheer pastel dresses were mixed with chinoiserie-style sportswear, fur-trimmed coats, and seventies jewel-tone suiting. Who exactly is his Gucci woman and where is she going? But with some looks, I didn’t even care — my favorite piece was a peacock floor-length gown with gold metallic gloves. I could lowkey see Rita Ora wearing this for a formal fashion-y event. Another favorite was a red button-down dress with contrasting scribble print worn by model Nicole Atieno.

Overall, I came away feeling mixed thoughts, but it may just be that I had too high expectations following the success of Fall 2015. Here’s to hoping for more clarity on his Gucci woman in the next collection.

Today we’re heading to Beantown with Ugonna from Boston:
She says, “I am a Nigerian currently residing in Boston, MA.”
” I am a style blogger, my blog name is www.yourstrulyugo.com.”
“My style is extensively imitative of styles from the 90’s but I’m starting to like the 70’s too as I’m currently in love with the bell bottom trend.”
” The 90’s was an interesting style decade.”
” During this period baggy silhouettes, mama pants, crop tops, snapbacks, chokers to mention but a few were the popular fashion fads most of which are back.”
” My style icon is Aaliyah, I loved that she had an “effortless-cool” style sense and she wore anything perfectly from baggy clothes to slinky dresses. She definitely has an influence on my personal style.”
” I feel most comfortable in baggy clothes therefore I am happy with the fact that sartorial trends are shifting to looser fits. I tend to wear sneakers often regardless of my outfit because of comfort. I love white sneakers, I can wear them with anything, my favorite at the moment are the Adidas Superstars.”
” In general, comfort is definitely key for me! “
Aren’t you adorable! You look like a young Janet Jackson. Gorgeous!

First Lady Michelle Obama plucked a Monique L’Huillier Fall 2015 Midnight Blue Guipure Lace and Textured Jacquard 3/4 Sleeve Dress To Welcome Pope Francis.
Her exact dress wasn’t modeled on L’Huillier’s runway, though this option boasts a similar skirt.
Simple and stately. She looks great!

Have you heard of Shop Fly Nation? They’re an e-store with lots of affordable, cute pieces!
Take, for instance, their $34 Extended Second Skin Maxi Skirt:
The stretchy piece is fashioned out of faux suede.
Pair it with a crop top, like Kylie Jenner, for a night on the town.
Would you wear it?
If so, purchase here.
Lindsay Lohan went bold at the Wonderland Magazine 10th Anniversary Party in London. For the occasion, she slipped on a Fendi Resort 2016 Yellow Leaf Print Flare Shirt Dress:

The Italian fashion house paired her dress with a buggie leather bag and embellished sandals in its Resort 2016 collection.

Not too keen about the bag choice here, but the frock and sandal pairing were quite darling.

Happy Empire Day!!!
For this week’s feature, I wanted to highlight group bloggers. So, after my impromptu decision (about 2 hours ago lol), I figured I’d showcase a quartet of ladies simply known as The Fab Four.

With the fitting motto, “Four Fab Women. Four Fab Bodies. Four Fab Styles”, this blogger gang aims to cater to women everywhere. The Fab Four are comprised of Judy, Gail, Leslie and Nancy – each possessing their own sartorial talents. In addition, each member displays their personal style while maintaining such positive and contagious energy.

Although the Fab Four functions as a well-dressed unit, they tend to gravitate towards certain aesthetics which include daring prints, striking colors, whimsical combinations and loads of personality. You’ve got to admit, the chemistry here is insane! The Fab Four are certainly worthy of Bomb Blogger status based on their unwavering confidence and their fearless ‘fits.

Slay on, ladies!

Happy Wednesday!
So last night, I was invited by Keke Palmer and her team to a screening of Scream Queens at 40/40. The room was filled with fabulous media folks, including Necole Kane (formerly Necole Bitchie) of XONecole.com, Dana Chanel of Sprinkle of Jesus, and more!
For the night, Keke looked smoking hot in a Bec & Bridge Dress and pumps:
As for me, I unearthed a few snake printed pieces from the Altuzarra x Target collection.
I paired a pussy bow top and blazer with dark jeans and Schutz Amatista Platform Sandals:
At any rate, Scream Queens was a fun, but gorey show. And I loved the styling!
Take a look at the trailer here:
Check out the first Episode here.
If you watched last night, what did you think?
**Also, be sure to check out XONecole.com and Dana Chanel of Spinkle of Jesus! I LOVED Dana’s videos:
Have you heard of her before? What do you think?
*I just started a Facebook Page, check me out here.
