It seems the fashion industry can hardly go a week without a designer shake-up! The latest shocking move is coming from the iconic fashion house of Lanvin where Artistic Director of 14 years, Alber Elbaz is exiting his role.
This is a complete surprise, as we’re all still getting over the fact that Raf Simons is leaving his post at Dior. Could this mean that Elbaz will be taking his place? It’s quite possible. WWD’s report reveals his departure is due to “disagreements between the charismatic Israeli designer and company principals”.
Exactly six days ago, Elbaz gave a rousing speech to commemorate his honor at the Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars. His opener might speak to his decision to move on from the brand after almost a decade and a half: “Tonight, the Fashion Group is giving me the award as a revolutionary at the Night of Stars. People who make revolutions are often considered courageous and fearless. They’re not afraid of changing the system when the system does no longer work. I personally don’t like the word revolution. I like evolution; I always did. Evolution, and not revolution. Evolution lives longer and better in history books.”
There will be much more to come about this story. Stay tuned!
Whelp! Pop singer Ariana Grande is officially the new face for MAC Cosmetic’s Viva Glam campaign. The starlet’s first collection will feature a dark plum lipstick and a pink lip gloss. The launch date is set for January 2016.
With previous Viva Glam ambassadors including Rihanna and Miley Cyrus, Miss Grande is in excellent company.
Call me crazy, but I love color of the lipstick! (It screams “winter”!) Although the lip gloss isn’t quite my cup of tea, I’m sure it’ll be a hit.
Charlie Brianna is life. Plain and simple. I happened upon this platinum beauty via Instagram and, let me tell you, she’s the bomb dot com.
As the founder of The Art of Charlie, today’s highlight is an emerging fashion stylist with a flair for all things cool. Not only has she styled some of Tinseltown’s finest, but she’s also an entrepreneur. In 2010, Charlie launched her own line simply called Blindfold Eyewear.
Charlie’s style encompasses both an athletic and edgy aesthetic. She gravitates towards leather accents, dramatic silhouettes, dope footwear and bold colors. Her style maintains a simple look but her use of unexpected finishing touches amps up every ‘fit. Sidenote: I’m spinning over that burgundy Kenzo sweatshirt!
Slay on, hun!

**Hey ya’ll! I’m still taking suggestions for your future Bomb Bloggers. So, leave your recommendations below in the comments. You can drop their Instagram names or their website. And, I’ll be sure to check them out. Thanks in advance!**
Happy Wednesday, Bombers and Bombshells!
Posts were a little slow yesterday, as I paid a fun visit to Reebok Headquarters in Canton, Massachusetts.
Reebok is dedicated to fitness and offers various workout classes every day! Thus, my visit kicked off with a grueling work out, which included wall sits, lunges, running, and more.
As you know, I’m participating in a Fall Fitness Challenge, and the plan is to lose 20 pounds! Reebok’s work out was intense, and certainly brought me one step closer to my goal.
Later on, I took a tour of the facilities. Everyone was super welcoming, including their social media team, who put the site, plus the @FashionBombDaily and @ClaireSulmers Instagram pages on the wall.
I had a great time, and I am looking forward to working with Reebok (we talked about having group fitness classes, health initiatives that support the Claire Cares foundation, and more!).
Stay tuned to this space for updates.

Scores of brown Bombers and Bombshells made their way to the Paley Center for their Hollywood Tribute to African-Americans in Television! The carpet was filled with fabulous thespians, dressed in their best threads.
Take a look:
Tyra Banks loves a jumpsuit! The ANTM creator flexed in a black and one long sleeve one piece, equipped with padded shoulders.
Teyonah Parris was styled in a Fall 2015 dress by Marchesa Notte, Chloe Gosselin shoes, a Jeffrey Levinson clutch, and jewelry by Jorge Adeler.
So we’re currently ironing out details for Cocktails with Claire DC (I hope to see you there!).
To celebrate our first Cocktail date, I decided to showcase Krystal from the DMV:
She says, “First let me say I absolutely LOVE this blog! I have been following it since 2011.”
“I would describe my style as, bold, edgy and eclectic, with a simplistic execution.”
“However, more often than not, as with most stylish individuals, my style is very much determined by my mood.”
” Simply put, if I feel it I wear it, WHATEVER it may be.”
“In a society that is so determined to force only one image of “beautiful” that is not reflective of the majority, it is so refreshing to see multiple images of that displayed on a platform that will reach the masses.”
