That’s right, people running hither and thither, grabbing every piece of gilded garb they could lay their hands on!
According to shopper Yannique Joseph, who braved the lines this morning, things were cool at first, with people sitting outside and receiving their colored bracelets. But once the doors opened, it was over.

She sent us the above picture, writing, “Madhouse. People are running when their group is called.”

She was able to make her way in with the 9:45 group, but by that time, only a few sparkly earrings and beaded clutches remained. Fashion Bomb readers reported that the website had crashed this morning. A quick look reveals that absolutely everything is sold out.

I actually had my eye on the green little sequined dress, but sadly, I was out of luck.

**Pieces are now on Ebay, selling for twice the price! The green dress I had my eye on retailed for $199 and is selling for $500.

Their $599 Embellished dress is on the resale site for $1,199. Their velvet dress retailed for $299 and is selling for $600.
Sheesh! It seems all those early risers were just gunning for the Ebay upsell!

In the perfect promotional move, the Weeknd and Alexander Wang are teaming up for a capsule collection, titled Wang XO, to be released just in time for the Weeknd’s fall tour. Wang and The Weeknd certainly aren’t strangers, as the dynamic duo first worked together at Coachella (the singer dressed exclusively in Wang’s namesake menswear line and diffusion line pieces and took over the brand’s Instagram).  Using the hashtag #WANGXO, he ‘grammed his too turnt experience as one of the festival’s headliners.

The Weeknd was also featured in Wang’s anniversary campaign with Do Something.

The singer’s “Beauty Behind the Madness Tour” just started, and the clothing will be available later this month.  Unfortunately, no details on the price points or where the collection will be sold has been released as yet. Your best bet to find this must have collection will be during of the one of the concerts during the tour.

The Weeknd’s onstage wardrobe will feature one of a kind Wang pieces, and the fans can dress the part by purchasing limited-edition tees, hoodies, and bandanas with graphics influenced by his logo and lyrics.

Empire was off last week because of the World Series, but it’s back tonight thankfully! Naturally, the fashion is on-high with a mix of fast and high-fashion, as well as some vintage thrown into the mix.

Let’s see what the cast will be draped in this evening!

Cookie is never one to shy away from bold color, prints, or anything for that matter. This week, she paired a $695 Stella McCartney Molly Printed Blouse, with a $75 Topshop Crepe Wrap Midi Skirt, Eddie Borgo bracelet, vintage Judith Leiber belt from Luxury Garage Sale, and a Balenciaga Le Dix Croc Bag.

She completed her look with some killer $515 Manolo Blahnik Ostramma Sandals, which of course she put to good use. Lucious was right by her side in head-to-toe John Varvatos.

She brings it every week!

Cookie also chatted with the show’s latest eye candy, Laz in an Alexander McQueen top. Mr. Delgado kept it simple in a black, leather-accented $375 BOSS Casino Jacket.

Halle Berry and Naomie Harris are recent black Bond beauties, but there are other African-American women who paved the way for them in the iconic film series. Last night, they gathered for the Black Women of Bond Tribute at the California African American Museum in Los Angeles.

Let’s get into the evening’s stylish ensembles!

Halle Berry was effortlessly beautiful (as always quite frankly) in a pale blue billowing Halston Heritage dress and $489 Stuart Weitzman Leg Wrap Sandals.

Current Bond babe Naomie Harris was the lady in red in a long-sleeve embroidered Burberry mini dress in the fiery hue, anchored with $795 Casadei Sheer Sandals. She literally can do no wrong in the style department this Fall.

Garcelle Beauvais opted for a menswear-inspired tuxedo blazer and black turtleneck, accenting her ensemble with shimmering sequin trousers.

Jay Ellis repped for the fellas in a gray three-piece suit. Dapper for sure!

Elise Neal was on-trend in a black tuxedo dress and over-the-knee boots.

Former Playboy model and Live and Let Die star Gloria Hendry showed just how amazing 66 can look in a belted number with a front slit. Take notes kids!

Diamonds Are Forever actress Trina Parks opted for all-black with red lips for a pop of color.

Iconic songstress and actress Freda Payne slipped on a textured LBD for the occasion.

Patron saint of the LWD, Lisa Raye wore…you guessed it! A white frock. I’m not a fan of the lace cardigan here: there are few things more chic than a white turtleneck dress after all.

I’ve been eyeing Victoria’s blog, Blasian Gurl, for quite some time. I discovered her via Tumblr and found myself continuously visiting her site. Aside from her effortless style musings, she also highlights her travels, fitness adventures and even her thoughts on Fashion Week. Victoria’s blog is a well-curated collection of mind-blowing photos, witty commentary and inspiration galore.

Victoria’s style remains simple yet sexy. I mean, the girl manages to make distressed jeans and a grey tee look chic! Her no-fuss looks incorporate tons of neutrals, endless crop tops, thigh high stompers and sultry cutout pieces.

It was quite a big deal when Victoria’s Secret announced that Rihanna would be returning to their runway to perform at their annual televised fashion show.  Miss Fenty would be joined by the likes of The Weeknd as well as Selena Gomez. But now, Rihanna has cancelled on the event, reportedly to finish her new album. In her place, the high profile show has roped in Ellie Golding.

The British songstress will sing between models like Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Jac Jagaciak, Romee Strijd and many more. Only days ago, Gigi Hadid was announced as a recent addition to that line up.

Never one to be one-upped, Kendall Jenner has too announced she will be making her VS debut this year.  Pretty big news for a model who recently celebrated her 20th birthday.
