She writes, “If I could describe my style in 5 words it would be: street, chic, effortless, comfortable, and affordable.”
” My personal style is what I like to call “streetwear femm” because I’m obsessed with masculine, athletic leisure, and menswear styles but I always put a feminine touch to everything that I wear.”
” Like most New Yorkers, I love black so my everyday uniform consist of all black everything.”
” I don’t believe in “beauty is pain” (you try walking through the streets of New York in heels) but I’m a true believer in buying a really great and comfortable pair of sneakers — and wearing them with everything!”

Visuals by Pierre was on the Scene to capture Street Chic.
Take a look at a few of our fabulous attendees:
Ashley R. Ryles of Arryles was one of our amazing vendors, and modeled a piece of her design. Her brand focuses on tailored pencil skirts! Check ’em out here.
Her homegirl Mika B also kept it hot for the night in a button down and an Arryles pencil skirt, finished with leopard pumps and a fur stole. Hot!
Bombshell Heather aka @Queenin_H looked sleek in a Balmain x H&M gold buttoned blazer and jeans.
Mimi won the Toyota Bold Award, and it wasn’t hard to see why! I instantly fell in love with her patterned black and white ensemble. #Slay
As soon as I walked into Mal Maison, I remarked on this fashionista’s simple white dress and multicolored snake print boots. Love it!
Bombshell Nichole Alibi has submitted her photos a few times for features, so it was great to see her style in person! She didn’t disappoint in Zara separates, a Fendi bag, and Stuart Weitzman boots.
Twins Taylor and Courtney were winning in fur, stripes, and chic short cuts. They were adorable!
Fringe was certainly fierce on this red caped diva.
Our DJ Kitty Cash always kills the game, and continued her winning streak in an Emilio Pucci top and wide legged pants.
A fur vest added texture to a muted color palette. Cute, no?
I love a good monochrome moment, especially in winter white! This fashionista worked it to the hilt in a knit sweater dress and skirt.
Valentino Rockstud pumps and sheer thigh high socks created a daring combination.
I was a big fan of this colorfully striped set.
@QueenSheReal rocked ice gray locks and burgundy tones.
This fashionista rocked a pair of thigh high boots to the max.
And there were some guys in the room! This young man added interest to all black with a patterned sweater, suede boots, and a felt fedora.
Hot!
As for me, I decided to mix high and low in a Topshop metallic green dress (I added a slit) and a Versace belt.
I really enjoyed meeting you all, and I warmly thank all of you DMV Bombshells and Bombers for coming out!
I’d also like to thank the Toyota Team, who has been super supportive of FBD and Cocktails with Claire.
And big ups to my fellow Caribbean Capricorn DJ Kitty Cash, who supplied the music. She was bomb!
Now, it’s time to prepare for ATL!
Cocktails with Claire DC sold out, and we foresee Atlanta to be just as fab. Get your tickets while you can at CocktailswithClaireATL.eventbrite.com. If you’re interested in being a vendor, e-mail us at events@fashionbombdaily.com
Smootches!

The 7th Annual Governors Awards went down last night in Hollywood with some of our favorite actors, actresses, and more in attendance. Naturally, the glamour was on high with expertly-tailored suits, embellished dresses, and showstopping gowns all on the menu for the night’s stars.
Let’s see what they wore!
Teyonah Parris always brings it on the red carpet, and she did not disappoint in a contrast silver striped skirt gown from Pedram Couture.
Idris Elba, Abraham Attah, and Beasts of No Nation director Cary Fukunaga all looked quite dapper in black suits.
Ava Duvernay slipped on a long-sleeve blue peplum gown for the awards show. Completely elegant, as always!
Will Smith gave flair to the classic double-breasted tux with a contrast lapel and slight jacquard print. Isn’t he handsome?
Common looks delicious 100% of the time, thus this event was no exception.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw was gilded in an embellished camisole dress from Jason Wu’s Resort 2016 collection. Hot!
F. Gary Gray, Ice Cube, his wife Kimberly Woodruff, and son O’Shea Jackson Jr. were quite the stylish quartet.
It was also a family affair for Spike Lee. Gorgeous all-around!
Sister duo Amy and Kimberly Schumer were clad in all-black.
Jane Fonda continued to slay in a black and gold Saint Laurent blazer, sheer Wolford bodysuit, and black trousers. Hot!
