Another day, another awards show! VH1 hosted the Big In 2015 awards show with Entertainment Weekly, with our favorite stylish actresses, hot mamas, and reality TV stars in attendance.
Let’s see what they wore!
Taraji P. Henson flaunted her curves in a lace-up Alexander Wang LBD and embellished sandals. What’s not to like?
Queen Latifah showed just how chic a blouse and trouser combo can be for the evening. Gorgeous!
Tasha Smith was white hot in a $357 A.L.C. Duncan Dress. Wasn’t too keen on her shoe choice, but there’s no doubt that she and this dress are stunning.
Amber Rose kept it shockingly simple with her signature shades, a long-sleeve v-neck LBD, and strappy sandals.
I loved Nikki Mudaris’s $3,595 Balmain Wide Leg Jumpsuit and gold choker, though it was hard to focus on the radiance of the piece with her in-your-face décolletage.
How to Get Away with Murder’s Kendrick Sampson was dapper in a black suit, given a pop of Fall color with a forest green tie.
Kendrick’s How to Get Away with Murder co-star Amy Okuda was adorable in a scroll print glitter dress and black pumps.
Malaysia Pargo gave some edge to the classic LBD with a tulle skirt overlayer, statement-making necklace, and over-the-knee boots. Hot!
Mommy-to-be Apryl Jones flaunted her mile-long stems in a stud embellished cutout dress. She’s an absolute beauty.
The Puerto Rican Princess Joseline Hernandez served up loads of skin (no surprise there) in a fur vest belted at the waist, leather shorts, and t-strap sandals.
Wherever Joseline is, you can expect to see Stevie J not far behind! The Love and Hip Hop men love black leather, thus he wore the texture on a bomber jacket.
Yandy Smith Harris and Mendeecees Harris were quite the good-looking couple, with the Everything Girls Love owner in a Balmain x H&M velvet turtleneck.
She writes, “If I could describe my style in 5 words it would be: street, chic, effortless, comfortable, and affordable.”
” My personal style is what I like to call “streetwear femm” because I’m obsessed with masculine, athletic leisure, and menswear styles but I always put a feminine touch to everything that I wear.”
” Like most New Yorkers, I love black so my everyday uniform consist of all black everything.”
” I don’t believe in “beauty is pain” (you try walking through the streets of New York in heels) but I’m a true believer in buying a really great and comfortable pair of sneakers — and wearing them with everything!”

Very street chic and comfy!

Visuals by Pierre was on the Scene to capture Street Chic.
Take a look at a few of our fabulous attendees:
Ashley R. Ryles of Arryles was one of our amazing vendors, and modeled a piece of her design. Her brand focuses on tailored pencil skirts! Check ’em out here.
Her homegirl Mika B also kept it hot for the night in a button down and an Arryles pencil skirt, finished with leopard pumps and a fur stole. Hot!
Bombshell Heather aka @Queenin_H looked sleek in a Balmain x H&M gold buttoned blazer and jeans.
Mimi won the Toyota Bold Award, and it wasn’t hard to see why! I instantly fell in love with her patterned black and white ensemble. #Slay
As soon as I walked into Mal Maison, I remarked on this fashionista’s simple white dress and multicolored snake print boots. Love it!
Bombshell Nichole Alibi has submitted her photos a few times for features, so it was great to see her style in person! She didn’t disappoint in Zara separates, a Fendi bag, and Stuart Weitzman boots.
Twins Taylor and Courtney were winning in fur, stripes, and chic short cuts. They were adorable!
Fringe was certainly fierce on this red caped diva.
Our DJ Kitty Cash always kills the game, and continued her winning streak in an Emilio Pucci top and wide legged pants.
A fur vest added texture to a muted color palette. Cute, no?
I love a good monochrome moment, especially in winter white! This fashionista worked it to the hilt in a knit sweater dress and skirt.
Valentino Rockstud pumps and sheer thigh high socks created a daring combination.
I was a big fan of this colorfully striped set.
@QueenSheReal rocked ice gray locks and burgundy tones.
This fashionista rocked a pair of thigh high boots to the max.
And there were some guys in the room! This young man added interest to all black with a patterned sweater, suede boots, and a felt fedora.
Hot!
As for me, I decided to mix high and low in a Topshop metallic green dress (I added a slit) and a Versace belt.
I really enjoyed meeting you all, and I warmly thank all of you DMV Bombshells and Bombers for coming out!
I’d also like to thank the Toyota Team, who has been super supportive of FBD and Cocktails with Claire.
And big ups to my fellow Caribbean Capricorn DJ Kitty Cash, who supplied the music. She was bomb!
Now, it’s time to prepare for ATL!
Cocktails with Claire DC sold out, and we foresee Atlanta to be just as fab. Get your tickets while you can at CocktailswithClaireATL.eventbrite.com. If you’re interested in being a vendor, e-mail us at events@fashionbombdaily.com
