Fashion Bomb Couples: Angela Simmons Wore a Gold Alex Perry Dress and Alaia Heels While Celebrating Yo Gotti in a full Louis Vuitton Look

The best girlfriend award should probably go to Angela Simmons at this point because she pulled all the stops to ensure that her beau Yo Gotti had the best birthday ever.

Can we also talk about the power of manifestation because I don’t know if you recall but back in 2016 Yo Gotti first shot his shot at Simmons in his song, “Down In the DM,” where he raps,

And I just followed Angela (Simmons)
Boy, I got a crush on Angela (Simmons)
They like, “Damn, Gotti, you bold” (bold)
F**k it, I’m gon’ let the world know (goals)

Well, Well, Well, 7 years later and Yo Gotti finally got his Angela Simmons who he appears to be happily in love with. The couple who made it instagram official during the New Year has been riding strong and spotted on various dates and bae-cations.

For his Birthday, Angela surprised Yo Gotti with a trip to the Philippines where she invited family and friends to help celebrate his 42nd birthday. In addition to flying out members from Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG) such as MoneyBagg Yo and Glorilla who joined in on the festivities.

Angela of course came dripped from head to toe in a gold Alex Perry dress that had ruching throughout and complimented the 35 year old curves. She accessorized with a Van Cleef & Arpels necklace, along with patent leather Alaia sandals that has a statement buttocks gold heel.

Contrary to Angela, Yo Gotti opted for darker tones with a black Louis Vuitton button up shirt with black and grey Louis Vuitton sneakers that were quite fitting for the birthday king.

For his birthday gift, Simmons surprised her boo with a black Tesla SUV that he had been longing for. It hasn’t even been a year and Simmons is going above and beyond to appease her man. It’s clear to see that love has no limits.

It’s also great to see Angela Simmons in love and happy again since the passing of her Fiancé and son’s father back in 2018.

Perhaps Yo Gotti is a constant reminder that you can acquire anything or anyone when you relentlessly and courageously pursue it. We hope that this love last for an eternity and as Angela’s birthday approaches in September we can’t wait to see how Yo Gotti shows out for the woman he’s been yearning for since 2016.

When it comes to style influences, Dwayne credits the infamous A$AP Rocky. He finds inspiration in the Harlem rapper’s tasteful layering skills and patchwork approach to style. Using the high-low dressing technique, this Brooklyn style star is a frequent at Zara, mmnl, Boohoo Man, and ASOS.

On Instagram , Dwayne’s shows off his colorful style which he describes as fun and authentic.

If there’s one collection that celebs can’t get enough of, it’s the Dolce&Gabbana X Kim Kardashian collection that first debut at Milan Fashion Week last September.

The edgy and fierce RTW collection is comprised of everything from cheetah print and bejeweled ensembles to neutral and metallic tones.

“Inspired by the archives of the 1990’s and 2000’s, the new Dolce&Gabbana SS23 Collection, in collaboration with Kim Kardashian, presents clothing and accessories rich in sensuality and elegant detail. A Timeless style created for a unique woman, a modern diva,” was written on Dolce&Gabbana’s website.

While we’ve seen numerous stars in a variety of Dolce&Gabbana X Kim Kardashian pieces, one style in particular that is a fan favorite is the $4,044 black calf-length dress in jersey Milano that is bedazzled with Rhinestones.

Of course Kris Jenner supported her daughter by sporting the chic black bodycon dress that looked so business appropriate on the 67 year old momager.

In addition, we spied Natalia Bryant in the same dress offering a youthful spin with a black clutch and open-toe sandal heels. Bryant was recently credited on Beyonce’s ‘Renaissance tour’ for serving as an Intern in various departments so it only feels right that University of Southern California student is smiling ear to ear.

Ashanti kept it sexy and daring by tailoring the dress above her knee and Media Personality and entrepreneur PreMadonna gave her own glamorous touch by adding a feather and crystal belt which modernized the dress.

Beyoncé Takes On London in a Brown Plaid Michael Kors Suit with Nude Louboutin Pumps

Beyoncé can wear practically anything and look spectacular because that’s the power that Queen B has.

Currently on her European leg of her Renaissance tour, Beyonce made her way to the UK from Sweden where she kicked off much awaited tour. The ‘Alien Superstar’ looked sophisticated chic in a plaid suit short combo while posing in her hotel suite and going for a stroll around London.

Among her various stylists, KJ Moody is responsible for this haute look which consists of a brown Michael Kors collection suit that had a vest jumpsuit underneath her oversize blazer.

Most notably was Beyoncé accessories which consisted of vintage Chanel earrings, a black Dior bag , and her signature Louboutin nude pumps. We know the queen loves a good red bottom!

Beyoncé is all smiles and looks genuinely happy to be back on stage and in her element. If you have ever seen Beyoncé perform live, then you seriously know that no one else can compare as she’s one of the best entertainers of our time.

We’re happy to see Beyoncé finding balance between working so hard and enjoying her leisure time. We know the Virgo in her is such a perfectionist, that following her stroll, she went right back to the drawing board.

Is Rihanna having acute nostalgia from her first pregnancy or what? The Barbadian singer released a series of multiple photos from her first pregnancy where she practically bared it all.

The ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ singer left little to the imagination, and posed in a custom Jacquie Aiche jewel bikini with a black thong and animal print stilettos. She accessorized with gold rings and bangles and looked like she was cocoa buttered down.

Perhaps she’s reminding A$AP Rocky who was spotted partying it up in Manhattan this week, that she still has the alluring and desirability factor despite having a baby bump. We all know that if anyone has made pregnancy look more appealing, it’s certainly RiRi who is always a sight to behold with her stellar looks.

As Rihanna get’s ready to deliver her second bundle of joy, it looks like she’s reminiscing on how blissful it was to carry and conceive baby RZA who just made a year this month. We can’t wait to find out the gender of Rihanna’s new born and with the release of this shoot, she may be cooking up a similar shoot to highlight her current trimester.

Happy Friday!

The Bomb Life has been super busy, but I never miss an opportunity to support one of my favorite designers, Christian Siriano!

Last night, Siriano held a pink themed fashion show, with proceeds going towards Pink Aid, an organization that helps Breast Cancer patients with transportation, food, and other necessities while they are in treatment. The founders of Pink Aid gave a speech before the Fashion Show began, and played the Voicemail of a breast cancer patient pouring praise on them and their efforts. It was truly touching to see a beautiful display of fashion for a cause!

The show featured some of Siriano’s signatures, including statement making tulle skirts, butterfly adorned sheer tops, and a pink plaid print festooned on everything from cocktail dresses to pencil skirts.

Front row attendees included Rosie Perez, Whoopi Goldberg, Natasha Beddingfield, Ken Downing….and me!

For the occasion, I wore a black corset and a pink Christian Siriano Silk Mermaid skirt.

Kim Kardashian Attended Ushers Vegas Residency in a Black Maison Alaia Sheer Crop Top and Maxi Ruched Skirt

Bianca could Neva. Kim Kardashian has been catching private jets and is inevitably leaving her past in the dust.

With the exception of co-raising her children in an amicable fashion with her ex husband Kanye West, Kim has washed her hands from the unnecessary drama and is beginning to look like her old self again.

The Armenian socialite stepped out with her girls this month to attend Usher’s Las Vegas Residency at the Dolby Live amphitheater inside Park MGM, and she didn’t come to play. Kim’s second youngest, Chicago West recently shared that her mothers favorite food is salad and considering how snatched Kim’s waist looks- there’s no doubt we all need to join her diet regimen.

The Hulu star and Skim founder wore a black Maison Alaia sheer look including a $1,860 mesh crop top with a matching $2,730 Ruched maxi skirt that served sex appeal for days.

Khloe was right behind her older sister and also showed off her curves in a snakeskin print Maison Alaia halter dress that had cutouts at the waist and a slit all the way up to her bum. We loved her lace up open-toe sandals, and between the two we can’t determine who was serving more bawdy.

One person who was definitely showing a ton of skin, was the man of the hour and Usher didn’t hold back from seducing Miss Kimora Lee Simmons. The Kardashian sisters and their friends recorded the unexpected moment and considering how all eyes were glued to the R&B singer, you know his body was talking to ’em hunny!

Everyone looked so great and among them all, we loved these Maison Alaia looks on Kim and Khloe. It’s evident to see that the legendary Parisian fashion house Alaia is becoming every celebs go-to designer which we will be exploring more of.

On the Scene at the Cannes Film Festival: Coco Jones in Naeem Khan, Viola Davis in Valentino, Farhana Bodi in Atelier Zuhra & More

The most prestigious annual 76th Cannes Film Festival has finally arrived, and Hollywood’s brightest celebs made their debut on the red carpet in Cannes, France.

From the looks of it, based on all the couture gowns we saw, feathers will prove to be a huge fashion staple this year. From Viola Davis who took a calculated risk and wore all white with a feather off -the-shoulder coat, to Farhana Bodi who shone brightly in a lime green over the top feather gown, stars were doing dramatic swirls this week in their feather ensembles.

Viola, can do no wrong in our eyes and if you’ve ever read her book, “Finding Me: A Memoir,” you understand all that this woman has endured and overcome throughout her life. Her wearing all white was symbolic to her purity and felt almost ritualistic to new beginnings.

We adored her asymmetrical white Valentino gown underneath her feather coat and perhaps she’s never looked more beautiful.

Also opting for softer hues was singer CoCo Jones who left Mary J. Blige Strength of a Woman fest in Atlanta this weekend to attend another star-studded fest. She’s definitely on the move and with her undeniable talent and a face card that never declines, who could blame her?

CoCo Jones wore a Naeem Khan LTD custom design that included both pearl and stud embellishments and had feathers towards the bottom of her dress. Her matching embellished gloves were all the merrier.

Farhana Bodi is certainly on our best dressed list as she looked absolutely incredible and glamorous in her lime Atelier Zuhra gown that had an exaggerated train and brought all the drama we needed to the film festival.

Stepping a way from the feather trend, was actress Laura Harrier who looked timeless and sleek in a black maxi gown that was draped perfectly from the plunging neckline. Sometimes, less is more and that definitely was the case for Laura.

Are we finally getting the hair care line from Beyoncé that we’ve all been waiting for? The Renaissance artist has appeared in many different hair styles and colors over the years, however her signature blonde remains.

Queen Bey is also known for having her hair blown by massive fans at her performances. Though the Grammy-Winning superstar is best known as a music and performance icon, it looks like she’s making her way towards the hair industry.

Beyoncé took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt post along with some candid photos. In one snap, she was seated in front of a mirror touching her hair with hair products presented in front of her.

The second picture was a photo from when she was a child in her mothers salon getting her hair braided. In the last slide, she opened up about how hair care has been a vital part of her life as a performer since her youth. Which comes as no surprise since she takes good care of her daughter Blue Ivy’s hair.

“How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?” the Cuff It” singer asked. She went on to reminisce on those early days in Ms. Tina’s salon.

“Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done,” she remembered. “I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women.”

She ended her note, seen below, by teasing an upcoming project that appears to be hair-related. “Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy,” she said honestly. “I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”

Additional details remain scarce, as is customary for most Beyoncé endeavors. The hand-labeled bottles of oils and creams on the vanity, however, look as if they could be test samples from a lab.

It may be Cannes Film Festival week, but the stars are shining bright like Bulgari diamonds in Venice. To celebrate the launch of the Mediterranea High Jewelry collection, Bulgari threw a lavish party where drinks flowed, and gems followed.

Of course, the brand ambassadors and actresses Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra, and Zendaya represented in the brand’s dazzling jewels and sophisticated evening looks. While Zendaya channeled Old Hollywood glamor in a lush off-the-shoulder cinched velvet gown, Hathaway went with conceptual couture and rocked a hooded crystal-covered dress. Chopra wore a saturated separate as bold and vibrant as the Roman splendor necklace she wore.
