America Ferrera was one of the gorgeous announcers of the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Nominations, sporting an Ingie Paris Fall 2014 Floral Embroidered Tie Neck Dress:
America stuck to the simple styling in the brand’s lookbook.
The stars were in attendance at the 2nd Annual Diamond Ball, hosted by Rihanna and her The Clara Lionel Foundation. The superstar was clad in her favorite French fashion house for the evening, though the rest of the night’s attendees also donned pretty fabulous attire.
Let’s see what they wore!
Rihanna was the belle of the ball in a cream Dior getup. Hot!
Zendaya Coleman served up a flash of abs in a one-shoulder striped crop top and high-waist matching full skirt from Rosie Assoulin. She and stylist Law Roach are a match made in sartorial heaven.
Jada Pinkett Smith was white hot in a one-shoulder, zip-accented Zuhair Murad gown with a thigh-high slit. Isn’t she just flawless?
Mr. Smith was also in attendance, sporting a classic tux. He’s always swoon-worthy.
Kylie Jenner showed off her pearly whites in a cream gown with a waist-cinching belt.
A Todd Patrick Designs skirt was on the menu for Draya Michele. Cute!
Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish were quite the stylish duo in a tux and black silk gown with a cascading train, respectively. They’re a great-looking couple!
Justine Skye gleamed in a strapless silver, bustier-inspired Rubin Singer gown with a thigh-baring slit.
EJ Johnson paired tailored black separates together for a casual take on a suit.
Holly Robinson Peete shimmered and sparkled in a sequin column gown.
Stylist Chriselle Lim showed just how fun a timeless LBD can be in Sass & Bide. Pretty no?
There are perhaps no words that can rightfully attest to what Oprah is.
For many people of the 80s-early 2000s, she’s Oprah Winfrey of The Oprah Winfrey Show, the highest-rated program of its kind in history, lasting a strong 25 years. She might be Sofia from The Colored Purple, or your leading spokesperson for the democratic elections of (now President) Barack Obama back in 2008 and 2012.
For others, she’s Oprah Winfrey the wealthy philanthropist, ranked the richest African-American of the 20th century and greatest black philanthropist in history. She can be known as the woman who has the “Oprah” effect, where her stamp of approval almost GUARANTEES monetary success for a business, or she can be seen as the “Queen of All Media”, where she now spends her days (among other things) working on the OWN Network. Whatever you know her as, all we can say is Oprah is in every sense of the word a Powerhouse.
Born into poverty and later recalling intense stories of abuse and molestation as a child, Oprah was an extremely devout student in school, solidifying a full scholarship to Tennesse State University, where she would attend and major in Communication.
While at Tennesse State, she would snag a part-time gig with the local black radio station, WVOL, which would be the eventual stepping stones into Ms. Winfrey’s transition into media and hosting for talk shows. Fast-forward to 1986, where high ratings and revenue percentages demanded to see more of the bubbly, commanding Oprah. What you get is The Oprah Winfrey Show, which took on to cover health, spirituality, sex, social issues, celebrity talk and giveaways (Remember when everyone got the car?!) Pretty much, she’s too fabulous for us to even handle it and a huge inspiration for anyone out there with a dream.
Ms. Winfrey may be the “Queen of All Media” but we’ve equally enjoyed watching her style evolution over the years. In the celebration of Oprah’s #BlackGirlMagic she just exudes to each of us, above, check out our style evolution of Ms. Winfrey from her earlier years in the 80s to present day.
We’re flying to California today, for Bombshell Asia from San Jose:
She says, “Simplicity is key!”
” Although I like bright colors I mostly wear autumn tones.”
” I think it goes well with my skin tone.”
” The fashion icon I adore is Victoria Beckham.”
You’re smoking hot! Work!

Greta Lee was also at the Sisters NYC Premiere, serving up a sexy spin on the classic black and white combo in a Jonathan Simkhai Spring 2016 Strapless Black and White Strapless Cutout Scallop Slit Dress:
Greta stuck to the runway’s simple styling, though she added in berry lips for a pop of color.
Hot! I definitely hope Greta shows up on more red carpets next year.
The Hollywood Reporter threw its 24th Annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast with our favorite supermodels, reality TV stars, actresses, and more in attendance. Sexy dresses, modern sheaths, florals, and classic accents were all on the menu.
Let’s see what they wore!
Tyra Banks flaunted her curves and new pink highlights in a denim and black leather figure-hugging number.
Mom-ager Kris Jenner gave a spirited spin to the LBD in an Anna K design.
Meagan Good and husband Devon Franklin were undoubtedly the best dressed couple at the event. I loved Meagan’s braided topknot and chic sheath!
Scream Queens star Niecy Nash was pretty in a floral flared hem wrap dress.
Mara Brock Akil let her natural beauty shine through in a green long-sleeve dress and knee-high boots.
Liz Hernandez layered a cozy berry coat over a white zip-front frock—anchored with nude pumps. Hot!
Taraji P. Henson shimmered and sparkled on the Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays special in the same $4,250 J. Mendel Burnt Orange Deep V-Neck Gown Kate Hudson originally sported back in June:
Both ladies paired the stunner similarly, though Kate opted for a topknot to allow the number’s neckline to shine.
The lamé gown features allover pleating, a crossover v-neckline, sleeveless silhouette, and slim band at the waist.
Have you guys heard of Jennifer Le? The Toronto Bombshell has a line of dope thigh highs, booties, and heels, perfect for the bold stylista.
In addition to her immense talent, Le has got her own. She stated in an open message on Instagram, “This collection has been entirely self-funded. No financial investors, no rich boyfriend or mommy/daddy to “borrow” money from, shoot, my own parents don’t even know I have a shoe line lol. I work a regular FT 9-5 job to fund my dream. What I’m really trying to say is… If you have a dream/goal, whatever it may be.. You can make it happen, I did. This is only the beginning.. I have a long way to go. And, I hope you can continue to grow with me.” Yasss!
I’ve already drooled about her 2BD studded boots, and her exotic skinned thigh highs are a must for this winter! At $279-$400, the prices aren’t so bad, either.
