We’ve seen Corinne Foxx quite a bit on the red carpet and at stylish events—usually alongside her father Jamie Foxx. Well the current USC student and model has some exciting news, as it was announced that the beauty will be Miss Golden Globe 2016.
“Throughout the years I’ve grown up watching my dad establish himself as a well-respected actor,” said Foxx. She continued, “I’m honored that HFPA has given me the opportunity to now share the same stage where he’s been awarded for some of his greatest accomplishments.”
This means we’ll be seeing Corinne onstage during the 73rd Annual Golden Globes, presenting the awards to all of the night’s honorees.
Make sure you’re tuned in on Sunday, January 10th for the awards show. Congratulations to Ms. Foxx!

Fashion Bomber Antion Matisse wrote the FBD team an e-mail typing, “I’m writing you as a concerned subscriber and as an individual. My great concern is in the area of transgender women and LGBTQ that have been featured on your blog as well as your blog’s Instagram.”
“… Whenever I see post of the great Laverne Cox or Caitlyn Jenner, or Amaya Scott, there is a massive amount of transphobia and transphobic language in the comment section. As a proud member of the LGBTQ community I find it completely and utterly offensive as well as rude that these comments aren’t being reported or that something isn’t being said in regards to the blatant negativity when it comes to transgender men and specifically transgender women.”
“…It’s shocking to see the level of disrespect and it truly saddens me. I love what you as well as your blog stands for and its a shame to see hatful comments from the people who frequent your again stunning, creatively diversified fashion blog that caters to people of color.”
Thank you for your thoughts, Antione. Fashion Bomb Daily is a place where all fashion enthusiasts and all people can feel as if they have a home. We value diversity whether it pertains to race, body shape, gender, or sexual preference.
Regarding internet trolls…sadly, we can’t control them. I like to think that we’re welcoming in that way as well. We don’t generally censor comments, and like to have an open forum for discussion where people can feel free to express themselves. That said, some comments are inexcusable. So, moving forward, we will make it a point to police overtly cruel, insensitive, or hateful comments.
Regardless of the trolls, the FBD mission has always been and will continue to be to highlight the beauty of all people from all walks of life.
Hope you’ll continue to walk with us.

She says, “I am NikkiFree, a 40+ plus size blogger who lives in Atlanta and loves having fun fashionably!”
” As I said in a September 2015 issue of Redbook Magazine, “When I walk into room, I want people to think ‘She’s fun, she’s approachable, she loves life.’ That’s how I love to dress.” “
“I would describe my style as Classic But Trendy.”
” I love clean lines and classic shapes but with a bit of a twist … bold colors statement pieces: a funky shoe, an oversized clutch, big bold jewelry.”
” I enjoy mixing high-end, luxury pieces and affordable clothing together to create a great look. So I don’t really have a signature style. I just like what I like. However, I do like to be different and a bit unpredictable.”
“I love bright colors and mixing patterns. Nothing is more exciting to me than to find a plus outfit that’s full of color. I definitely take body type into account. I’m curvy, so for me, I like clothes that compliment and accentuate my curves.”
“My blog, NikkiFreeStyle.blogspot.com, is just my way to memorialize my looks, encourage others (most especially women who are in our 40s and curvy/plus size women) by sharing styling tips and places shop. There are some treasures out there online for mature, professional curvy women to find fun and non-frumpy clothing. “

The Creed promotions are going strong!
Tessa Thompson attended a mural unveiling for the movie in San Francisco in a look from Michael Kors’s Resort 2016 collection.
She sidled up to a neutral makeup palette, with a berry lip.
Her caramel intarsia-knit top, black dickie and caramel pleated skirt with black and white border were modeled separately in Kors’s presentation:
I like! I can dig the 70’s vibe.
