Happy Friday ya’ll!

I’m too lit about this weekend. In addition to indulging in some birthday festivities, I’ll also be attending a fashion showcase and a networking brunch. So, it’s sure to be a busy next couple of days but I’m excited. With that, I hope your week was productive and filled with tons of positivity!

So, without further ado, let’s dive into some of our favorite looks.

1) KeKe Palmer in Yousef Al-Jasmi

The lovely KeKe Palmer was on hand for the 2016 People’s Choice Awards and, let me tell you, homegirl looked absolutely radiant! The actress/singer donned a sultry black crop top by Yousef Al-Jasmi and a matching high-waisted skirt. The embellished top also boasts an off-the-shoulder feature and long sleeves. KeKe’s jewelry game was also on point with designs by Anne Sisteron. Hot!

2) Vanessa Hudgens in Kayat

Actress/singer Vanessa Hudgens also rocked the red carpet at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards but, this time, she chose to take the metallic route! The fashionista slipped into a silver Kayat gown with a deep v-neckline and a thigh-high slit. She took her ensemble up a few notches with the addition of strappy black sandals, a bold choker and a matching clutch. She looks great, no?

3) Arden Cho in Mario Dice

Next up, we have Arden Cho! The Teen Wolf actress certainly brought the drama in a sheer Mario Dice number. The detail on this was ah-ma-zing! With jaw-dropping red and black embroidery, this shirt dress made quite the sartorial statement. To top things off, she strutted her stuff in simple black pumps and uplifted a dark lip. C’mon leg!!

4) Jennifer Lopez in Michael Kors

Metallics are everywhere! Look of the Week regular Jennifer Lopez was spotted out and about in her rendition of the shimmery trend as she slayed in a gold Michael Kors jumpsuit. Her sequin stunner showcases a fitted waist and highlights the superstar’s enviable figure. Jenny accented this frock with platform heels and gold accessories. Yes!

5) Remy Ma in Roger Rodney

Last up, Remy Ma rounds out this week’s slayage! The rapper struck a quick pose for the ‘Gram as she donned a sheer bodysuit by Roger Rodney. Her custom one-piece also boasts a high neck and a concealed zipper. I gotta admit, I’m definitely watching Remy throughout 2016 – she’s on fire. And, I’m here for everything!

Signing Out — Esmesha

Bella Thorne was spotted leaving the Palm Restaurant in Beverly Hills while sporting a $779 Alice + Olivia Tierra Black And White Striped Fur Jacket , $68 NDB Cross Your Mind Adjustable Strap Crop Top, and $14 Misguided White Thigh High Slit Midi Skirt:

Her jacket is a brilliant mélange of fox and rabbit fur which create a standout striped effect.

Her crop top boasts adjustable shoulder straps, light padded underwire cups and a plastic side seam boning.

Rounding out her ‘fit was a saucy thigh high split scuba midi skirt.

Eva Longoria was recently spotted at the AOL Build Speaker Series in New York. For the occasion, the Telenovela star donned a $1,430 Salvatore Ferragamo Wool Blend Knitted Bouclé Dress:

Her sophisticated frock is crafted from soft bouclé knit and features black wool and cashmere.

This piece is dotted with flecks of purple for a subtle hint of color.

It’s a sleek look indeed!

Eniko Parrish was spotted at the Ride Along 2 Miami Premiere alongside fiancé Kevin Hart in the same Balmain Resort 2015 White Sheer Burnout Midi Dress previously spied on Kim Kardashian:

While Eniko skewed simple in black sandals, Kim added a gold choker and lace up white Balmain sandals.
A similar dress was shown with glossy cuffs and those coveted black cage sandals in the fashion house’s Fall 2015 collection.

Both ladies rocked it, but I love Kim’s accoutrements. She made it pop!

• Three Years after her electrifying halftime Super Bowl Performance, Beyonce will be returning yet again, this time hitting the stage with Coldplay. Pepsi has confirmed that the superstar will bless the stage for Super Bowl’s 50th Anniversary. Tune in on February 7th.

• Following its successful debut last summer, NYFW: Men’s is back featuring 60 menswear designers starting February 1. Some of FBD’s favorite designers will be presenting collections at Skylight Clarkson North and other locations around the city over the four-day period, including Pyer Moss, known for his politically relevant tees and luxury sportswear. (Complex)

• Karl Lagerfeld is the center of yet another story of a fashion designer facing accusations of tax evasion. Creative directors of Dolce & Gabbana faced a lengthy battle with tax authorities in Italy in 2014 and were ultimately cleared. Lagerfeld has been under investigation by French tax authorities for allegedly evading more than $20MM in taxes by setting up varying companies to funnel funds to tax-favorable countries including Ireland and the British Virgin Islands. We’ll be watching for the outcome of these investigations. (Forbes)

What are your thoughts on today’s news?

Last year there was a lot of conversation about plus-size in the fashion industry. Target launched their Ava & Viv line for larger sizes, Lane Bryant kicked up dust with their #ImNoAngel campaign which critiqued Victoria’s Secret beauty standards, Draya Michele expanded her line into plus and Styleite turned their entire website into a size-inclusive project. And now, Forever21 is debuting their plus-size activewear line.

Coming in at a robust 28 pieces, the line isn’t just for show. The team built up a stable of high-impact sports bras, moisture wicking leggings and anti-odor tops to get you through your work out.  To show it all off, they tapped popular model, Ashley Graham as the face of their campaign.

Graham is joined by the likes of Denise Bidot and others for the product shots.

Expect stylish details like marble prints as well as encouraging ones like the words “No Days Off” printed on bras. The line is available now online and in-store with all pieces under $30.

Happy 2016, Bombers and Bombshells!
It’s the end of the first official week of 2016, and I challenge you to start the year off with a BANG.

August 2016 will mark 10 years of Fashion Bomb Daily fabulosity. And while things have changed so much over the years, the 10 year milestone plans to bring on so many amazing developments!

The main change I will be making will include loosening the reigns over here so that new writers can thrive–and so that I can continue to pursue new projects. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, we’ve added new interns Jamé Jackson and Diandra Bolton, who will be lending their talent, along with staff writers Faith Cummings, Giselle Williams Thomas, Mikelle Street, Vuitton Bain, Olamide Oladipo, Esmesha Campbell, Danielle Nicole, and more.

My focus this year is on putting new talent into the spotlight…from journalists to designers, photographers, and makeup artists.

I’ve learned that the key to a fulfilling job is not just relishing in your blessings, but also blessing others.

I can’t thank you all enough for your continued support. Stay tuned for new dates for Cocktails with Claire, and many more exciting things to come here at FBD!
