Super Bowl festivities have begun!
Lady Gaga kicked everything off wearing a red Gucci pants suit to sing the National Anthem:
The custom Gucci hibiscus red lurex two button peak lapel suit has flared leg trousers and was accessorized by a contrasting pair of blue glitter and red-and-white striped platform high heels with brass cat head and spike details.
Slicked back hair and red glitter shadow further accented her ensemble.
While we were all reeling from her latest solo release since 2014, Beyonce Knowles-Carter was chilling out at the OKC/Warriors game. For the outing, she kept it Gucci in a net tulle top from the brand paired with their stand out bird and flower embroidered shoulder bag. She topped it off with an oversized off white coat and Linda Farrow “The Row 8” frames.
The night’s look had the subtlest nod to her Formation video styling as the top she wore was essentially a black version of the one she wore in the video. The bow and pendant were cute touches. But for many, the high point of the look was the bag.
The Dionysus GG Supreme canvas shoulder bag is a creation of the brand’s creative director Alessandro Michelle. Michele formerly was the company’s head of accessories which is likely why the shoulder accessory is such a stand out. Need it in your life? The Italian house will need 3,800 of your American dollars.
Another item from the look that got a considerable amount of social media play was Beyonce’s shades. As most critiqued her for wearing them inside — although, so close to the Super Bowl, she was likely just out of rehearsals and Prince too wore shades inside after rehearsal — others were wondering where they could get them.
Say no more: the frames are ‘The Row 7’ from the The Row for Linda Fargo line.
While they were a strong $500 to start, Gilt has them up for $78! GO GO GO!
What did you think of the whole ensemble? Hot! or Hmm?
Beyonce briefly stopped the world yesterday with the release of a her new single “Formation”. The only thing better than the new track was the epic video that went along with it. Soon after the video was released, a “Formation” clothing collection appeared on her site.
The collection features lyrics like “Fresher than You” and “Smack It” emblazoned on a variety of items including t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, hats, and scarfs.
The 14-piece collection ranges in price from $25 to $70. A few items like the iPhone case are still limited to preorder, but most are available now.
While the collection doesn’t include her amazing outfits from the Formation video, it still has that signature Beyonce flair. Head to the her website to buy more from collection so you can slay it anyway you want too.
Stars took to the New Era Style Lounge at The Battery in SF, ahead of the SuperBowl. Fringe, LWDs, statement-making accessories, and leather were all on the agenda for the stylish slew of celebs.
Let’s see what they wore!
Chanel Iman was white hot in a leggy fringe number and strappy sandals. She’s been killing it this year!
After the launch of her KaePop collection with ColourPop, Karrueche Tran partied in an olive draped dress with a thigh-high slit and $825 Aquazzura Raffia Pom Pom Sandals for a pop of color—no pun intended. Such a fun look.
Not sure what you all were doing today, but I was casually getting a mocha when Beyoncé released her new song and video for “Formation”. It’s one of her most powerful and explicit to date, with awesome fashion to match.
And the styling is on another level as well. B brought together an all-star team, with Marni Senofonte, Shiona Turini and Zerina Akers behind the scenes. B is snatched to perfection in a vintage corset from Palace in LA, a Zimmermann look, and Fallon jewelry. Check out the frock on the Spring 2016 runway below.
Here she is perched in a Chanel Spring 2016 hat and Alessandra Rich Spring 2016 lace number.
Bey rode clean in a Fendi fur and Rosie Assoulin bodysuit.
Everything was vintage here on both B and the gents, save for Wolford tights and jewelry from Fallon and Dylan Lex.
The superstar can slay choreography in pretty much anything! She popped it in a burgundy bodysuit and a Chanel Pre-Fall necklace in this scene.
Springtime pastels were on the agenda in a Gucci gown from the Spring season.
Mrs. Knowles-Carter has been criticized quite harshly for not always taking a strong political stance. This video shows quite the opposite, as she addresses #BlackLivesMatter, police brutality, and Hurricane Katrina. There is absolutely no question about her feelings any longer.
