We love looking at different celebrities take on personal style and fashion, so today we’re highlighting the beautiful stylist and designer, Karrueche Tran.
Karrueche Tran definitely gives us that LA Cool girl swag when it comes to her style. Taking more of the laid-back approach with her styling, Karrueche differentiates her style from others by having a very specific aesthetic that she loves and sticking with it!
She definitely wears whatever makes her feel comfortable and work best with her body type. As a personal stylist for years, she’s definitely learned what works for her petite frame!
Whether it be high-end designer shoes such as Christian Louboutin or Guiseppe Zanotti’s , wearing local business brands or sporting her staple clothes from affordable places such as H&M, Nasty Gal, or ASOS, Karrueche oozes comfortability and relaxation in her clothing. She definitely shows us you don’t need to go over and beyond to look timeless and put together.
Classic silhouettes and selective accessories definitely suit her palette for styling choices, but Karrueche is never afraid to step out of the box and try out new trends or fits. Probably the best thing about her is that she shows us that you don’t need a million bucks in the bank to look fabulous, just great accessories and proper fits!
Pairing colorful accessories to nude/white ensembles a majority of the time, Karrueche’s approach to her styling is quite refreshing to see; wardrobes don’t and we have to say, it’s super refreshing to see a wardrobe that’s not doused in trendy pieces, but is cultivated by classic and timeless wears.
Let’s check out 25 other times Karrueche showed us her personal style in our Gallery! Plus, we’ve included a clip of her Closet Confessions with Claire below. Enjoy!

Though it seems like we haven’t heard much from Pharrell Williams in a while, the artist and living style icon has clearly been putting in work behind the scenes. Today, the “Happy” musician has announced that he is now co-owner of denim brand G-Star RAW.
On top of my business. As of today, proud to be a co-owner of @GStarRAW pic.twitter.com/dc3YARX0om
— Pharrell Williams (@Pharrell) February 9, 2016
The move doesn’t come without context: for the past two years the pair have collaborated on the RAW for Oceans denim line which features jeans made from recycled plastic. Utilizing a process created by Bionic Yarn (of which Pharrell is the creative director) the company turns discarded plastic bottles into thread which is then spun into jeans. The collection has presumably been doing well as each season it sees further iterations, expanding into shirts, coats and even flight suits. Now, the brand is pulling Williams aboard to help across the whole company.

The announcement comes within a month of Pharrell buying back into the Billionaire Boys Club that he founded with Nigo in 2005. According to reports, Williams bought 50% of the company back from Iconic Brands Group. For Iconix, the move allows the company to focus where they can make money faster as they are in $300 million in debt as of June. Expect the company to expand in product categories, possibly retail space and in licensing opportunities.
