And in the spirit of growth and evolution, Fashion Bomb newbies Esmesha Campbell and Jamé Jackson will be covering the shows in my place!
Sam Centore will be recording all their exploits, as they enjoy shows for the first time; Pierre will be taking their pix. After 10 years of going to Fashion Week, it’s way past time to pass the baton.
Keep an eye peeled for their reports on the site!
I’ll be hitting up Grammy’s weekend and much more, then returning back to NYC for the first Claire Cares Fashion Show on February 16th.
The biggest night in music has arrived and the industry’s most celebrated artists will gather for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. As the majority of us will be watching from our couches, whether to tune in for the performances or see who walks away with a golden statue, today’s looks are inspired by the Grammy’s red-carpet moments.
Make an entrance in an art-deco beaded sequin gown with plunging v-neckline.
Accentuate this sexy number with a bronze leather sandal with tassel lace-up detail, a black woven box clutch, white gold drop earrings and a rose gold cuff.
A white draped cutout jumpsuit makes for an edgy alternative to a flowing gown. Add statement pieces with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti bar detail suede sandal and a silver and gold geometric sculpted box clutch.
Lastly, double up on the ear bling with a gold and diamond ear cuff and spiral drop diamond earrings.
Opt for cutouts in a long sleeve one-shoulder gown with a thigh exposing slit.
Dress it up with a python ankle-wrap sandal, a mini leather bag with gold hardware detail, black fringe earrings, and a diamond encrusted midi ring.
Forego the formal attire and slip into a jacquard knit mini dress and metallic ankle strap sandals.
Add a touch of glamour with a satin oval minaudiere, a chunky gold and crystal bracelet, and cascading drop earrings.
Cap off the night in a black strapless embellished mini dress fit for the most festive of Grammy after parties.
A gold lucite heel sandal, metallic suede crystal-embellished clutch, and gold chained bar earrings complete this sassy and sultry look.

Masqueraders are frolicking in the streets of Trinidad & Tobago for Carnival 2016 – The Greatest Show On Earth. Not to be excluded, RHOA alum Marlo Hampton took to the ‘Gram while celebrating her 40th birthday in the isle of sea and sun. For the occasion, she donned a $770 La Perla Black Anchor Cutout Neoprene Swimsuit:
Her maritime-inspired suit is finished with daring cutouts placed to resemble an anchor.
Crafted from sculpting neoprene, this two-piece design has a detachable bandeau with discreetly boned sides for support.
She finished her ‘Monday mas’ wear with sold out Tom Ford patchwork leather sandals in black.
While many were still collecting their edges from the bomb that was Beyonce’s “Formation” video, Miss USA Olivia Jordan was partying it up at the Maxim Super Bowl party in San Francisco, California. To hit the red carpet, the pageant queen wore a pink peek-a-boo bandage dress from House of CB matched with a satin 24 karat gold Jeffrey Levinson clutch, nude Schutz heels and earrings from RJ Graziano.
The second runner-up to Miss USA 2015, Jordan cut a striking figure in the $171 look. It’s a steal if there ever was one with its bust cut out and figure hugging silhouette.
