Today’s Bomb Product comes courtesy of Modish Soles, a new online shoe boutique with loads of affordable heels. Their whole selection is bomb, but I particularly like their $85 Foreign Candy Boots:
The fringed stompers have a platform heel and tassel details.
One last Golden Globes party: there were so many amazing looks that we’re positively exhausted! At the NBCUniversal bash, the last of the fashionable stars showed up in form-fitting numbers, feminine blush frocks, strapless designs, and a chic jumpsuit.
Let’s see what they wore!
Nene Leakes was pretty in pink in a long-sleeve blush Walter Collection gown. Werk Nene!
Melanie B showcased her curves in a black embellished, bustier-inspired gown. This was hot.
Liz Hernandez slipped on a white strapless Elle Zeitoun gown with a dramatic gown. She’s never looked better!
White gowns were one of the night’s big trends, though Cara Santana opted for a white jumpsuitâcrafted by Thai Nguyen Atelier. I loved this piece.
Olivia Culpo skewed edgy in a black leather Valentino dress with green accessories for a pop of color. Pretty no?
Kelly Rowland was another gorgeous star who attended a Golden Globes partyâslipping into a Charbel Zoe Black Illusion Lace Embellished Gown at the FOX and FX shindig:
Another Golden Globes party went down in Hollywood last night, thrown by The Weinstein Company and Netflix. Celebs took to the fĂȘte in grommets, bold hues, expertly-tailored suits, showstopping gowns, and more.
Let’s see what they wore!
Laverne Cox donned another white gown for the evening: this time slipping on a custom Mark Zunino number with a plunging neckline, sheer panels, and a front slit. Congrats Laverne: you won the entire night!
Chanel Iman looked every bit the model in a crystal-encrusted KaufmanFranco cutout gown. Hot!

Terrell Owens tried on an eggplant-hued three piece suit for size. Hot!
Alicia Quarles wore a black floral embroidered Nicole Miller gown with a waterfall hem.
Tyrese added some color to his black three-piece suit with a navy and white polka dot tie.
A navy sequin-embellished J.Mendel gown was on the menu for Nina Garcia. Pretty!
Olivia Palermo was clad in a cape-back, floral print Giambattista Valli LBD. She never disappoints.
Louise Roe was suited up in gold Tamara Mellon. This was fab.
A strapless bow-front Rachel Gilbert gown was Renee Bargh’s choice for the celebration. Hot!
Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman donned an ethereal, floral-embroidered lace gown from her own brand. They design the most magnificent dresses.
Whatever your stance is on the revival of the crop top, just know that for right now, it’s here to stay. And Chanel Iman personified why. The supermodel was la belle du jour at W Magazine’s It Girl Luncheon in a two-piece lace and pearl crop top and pencil skirt set by Australian designer, Jaime Lee Major.
Chanel Iman has an acute adoration for all things dainty and lacy, so this option for the daytime fete was perfect. The floral appliques about the off-the-shoulder neckline/bust amplified the ensemble’s femininity, offset by the intricate details and pattern-work in the skirt.
When you think fashion, or perhaps even just music, David Bowie may not be the first person who comes to mind. However, he should be: the infamous musician (who unfortunately passed away yesterday at the age of 69 after an 18-month struggle with cancer) was highly known in the fashion industry just as much as for his music with his expansive outlook on the world of fashion and constant reinvention of his image. Bowie had just released an album, “Blackstar” on Friday- his birthday.
Somehow, Bowie did something many artists of today only wish they can do: transcend and blur the lines of art, music and fashion. His music was something many could call “forward-looking” and “soulful”, touching on the the issues of self-identity, living as an outsider in a world full of insiders, and self-expression being the ultimate way to feel comfortable in one’s skin. However, it was his ability to show how things such as moving images, the playing of personas or even style and aesthetic could change the mind of an entire society. He challenged the notion that there were ‘rules’ to fashion; as a result, he taught others that they possess their own power to create their own rules.
Amidst the slew of fashion designers and celebrities (among them Madonna and Kanye West) paying tribute to David Bowie while in the midst of New York’s and London’s Fashion Week, the fashion world remarks on his contributions not only to men’s fashion, but to the idea that one could be self-expressive through what they wore and what they sang.
âI honestly donât think there is one person in this room of any age who wouldnât say he had touched them in some way,â said the Editor of British GQ, Dylan Jones, âI just feel so terribly sad and yet also awed by the way he made his mark on our industry â even today. Gender fluidity is everywhere on the catwalks now for example, and where does that come from? David Bowie, of course.â (NYTimes)
Before there was a Madonna or Lady Gaga, there was David Bowie. We will forever remember the man who made us proud to be different and adamant about rebelling against the social domineering style regime.Of course, we send our condolences to all that have been affected by his loss, especially his wife of 24 years, Iman, and daughter Alexandria.
“My style is simple, elegant, aesthetic with a twist. About my style, I want it to be simple (effortless), classy, feminine with a bit of sophistication. In addition to that, I’m a little risk taker.”
“Although I’m a fashion lover, I do not spend a lot of money on shopping. I’m a bargain lover and best deals hunter. “
“I do enjoy sales and I always try to find best deals by H&M, Zara, Benetton, Camaieu, Zara, Mango, Naf Naf, … ““To me, it’s not necessary to spend a lot a money on clothes to look stylish. I carry the mini bag everywhere to say “no need to wear brands” to have style. “Effortless, simple and classic! You can check her out on Instagram @celine_mademoiselle. Ta-Rhonda Jones channeled Studio 54 glamour in a gold sequin gown with cape sleeves, a deep v-neckline, and front slit. She’s never looked better!
A pleated off-the-shoulder gown will always be timeless! Selena Gomez demonstrated that at the celebration in J. Mendel. Completely elegant.

Trai Byers tried on a purple three-piece suit for size.
Empire co-star Jussie Smollett kept it classic in a black tux.
I’ve been waiting for Bellamy Young to sport something on the sultry side: her figure is amazing and she needs to leave the conservative looks to Mellie Grant in my opinion! She did just that in a black cutout slit gown that flaunted her curves. Hot!
Gilded leaf embellishment accented Nicole Scherzinger’s front slit halter gown. Her red lips and sleek locks complemented this look perfectly.
Tamar Braxton looked gorgeous in a green Walter Collection ‘Lena’ Dress.

Paz Vega gave a sizzling spin to the classic black and white dress with a low-cut neckline, ruching, and a thigh-high slit.
