If there’s one celebrity whose closet we could love to play in all day, my vote would definitely be for Rihanna.
The Bajan beauty has proven to us time and time again that not only does she love life, but she loves playing in the world of fashionable fabrics, designated designers, and brilliant brands that allow her to express herself in any way she’d like. 
Though some might not be on board with Rihanna’s recent style turn, the fashion chameleon always remains true to herself, rocking an aesthetic that works for her, regardless of society’s standards or rules for her age or gender. 
Perhaps it’s just her natural beauty or her IDGAF attitude, but whatever it is, it’s made Rihanna the #1 most influential celebrity in the world. (Which is understandable, considering she could wear a burlap sack and it would slay.)
It is almost sickening how she can literally pull off anything; however, Rihanna has taught us over the years that fashion is definitely a way to exude confidence and embrace comfort in one’s body. She’s given high-def glam totally covered up, while also offering sex appeal with mini-dresses and risqué attire.
Any designer you can think of, she’s probably worn it before. Let’s see…Jean Paul Gaultier, Balmain, of course Dior (of which she’s scored an ambassador position), Dries Van Noten, Ulla Johnson, Giorgio Baldi, Fendi, …just to give you a handful.
Aside from topping Best Dressed lists for years, Queen Riri just gives us the idea of what true style is: whether it’s in or it’s out, she’s going to wear it and make it her own.

Rita Ora continued her Couture Fashion Week tour, this time hitting up the Ralph & Russo Spring 2016 show. Of course, she wore a piece from the brand, donning a long-sleeve flesh tone lace dress from the Fall 2015 Couture collection:

Balmain has always been influenced by French icons of centuries past. After the fashion house’s Fall 2016 menswear show just days ago, Olivier Rousteing and the gang were back again for the women’s Pre-Fall wares: some of which strutted down the catwalk during the showstopping menswear assemblage.
Jeanne Antoinette Poisson, Marquise de Pompadour—the official chief Mistress of Louis XV—was one of the inspirations for the collection, along with The Palace of Versailles. Those influences came through in beautiful embroidery made modern with cropped, high-waist, and form-fitting silhouettes, lavish buckles on waist-cinching belts, hand-held clutches, and velvet booties, exaggerated hip boning for impossibly-snatched bodies, and corsetry that would make the Queen’s court circa 1745 green with envy.
The November terrorist attacks were also one of Rousteing’s motivations, as the night left an indelible impression on anyone who not only lived in the city, but loved it and its people. The Creative Director told VOGUE.com “Paris is the City of Light, and I want to switch on the lights again.” Pieces like a colorful fringed pearl and crystal embellished mini dress with cutout shoulders and a netted green floor-grazing gown with the same aforementioned fringe and embellishment made a great case for that illumination.
Balmain girls love to show skin. They’ll be able to do that this season with thigh-grazing hemlines, sheer and sultry lace, halter necklines, and high-waists. A bandage LBD with a hook-and-eye front screamed “Kardashian”, while a strapless little black dress with overstated hip boning and a lace inset is timeless enough to last in any woman’s wardrobe for years to come: if she loves showing off her toned gams at every turn.
Many designs had such high technicality and craftsmanship involved that one couldn’t help but think of Couture. Rousteing gave a slight indication that the prospect was on the horizon. Only time will tell if the labor-intensive feat comes to fruition.
So what’s next for the fashion house? It just announced its children’s line, which we know North West and the Beckham kids most likely already have hanging in their closets. In the meantime, we’ll just have to be satisfied with all of the starlets sporting these designs on the red carpet over the next few months. A black and gold velvet fringe number will stand out at the GRAMMYs next month, while a silver fringe stunner is sure to grace one of the many Oscar parties in just a few weeks.

After conquering the fashion world with their H&M collection, Balmain has turned to a new area of fashion: children’s clothing. On Monday, the brand tweeted they will be releasing a children’s line in June starting at Balmain stores and on their website.
The collection will include 55 different pieces for boys and girls, inspired by designs seen on the runway and in past collections in the past 5 years. Creative Director Olivier Rousteing will be producing the clothing in house instead of contracting it out to a childrenswear company.
“These are the same looks that, over the years, moms and dads have repeatedly pleaded with me to produce for their kids,” said Rousteing to WWD.
After watching North West all over LA dressed in mini Balmain, it isn’t hard to imagine how successful the children’s line would be. However, despite the clothes being miniaturized, the prices aren’t any smaller. Prices will range from $205 for a sleeveless patterned T-shirt to $5,950, for an embroidered black dress.
