I’m ALL for supporting entrepreneurs – especially our sistas! So, after I received word about style maven Amiraa Vee’s ‘Legacy‘ Lookbook, I was a little curious to see what this piece was all about.
As a former Bomb Blogger and a fashion enthusiast, Sandra Vainqueur’s vision truly shine through with this endeavor.
The bombshell has released both a digital and print version of her Legacy Lookbook which showcases her fashion journey while also serving as a source of style inspiration for fashionistas everywhere.
The print option retails for $25 while the E-book comes in at $15.
“The lookbook was developed to display her creative outlet while inspiring other like-minded individuals; as well as a form of connecting to millennials all over the world. ‘Legacy’ channels fashion, culture, locations, photography and style.”
We see you, girl!!

First, Rihanna and Big Sean and now Willow Smith–Stance’s collaborations are only getting better!
15-year-old Willow was recently tapped to work with the brand as part of their Punk and Poets collaborations. Their joint Spring 2016 campaign is aptly entitled Miss Dayez and is infused with Smith’s uniquely feminine personal style.
“Designing socks is very interesting because they are items of clothing that aren’t seen a lot. For me, socks can emit energy through you—even if nobody sees them. They have a message on them that radiates through your entire being . . . at least for me they do,” Smith told Vogue.
The Smith kids are taking the fashion world by storm; Jaden Smith recently starred in Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2016 campaign. Stance gave Willow creative control and allowed her to personally design each sock. Featuring dreamy pastels and psychedelic watercolor smears in addition to striped knee-high pairs with retro stripes, it’s easy to imagine these socks easily fitting into her, and our, closets.
While the full line of socks won’t be available until winter this year, there are a stunning array of campaign photos featuring Smith that allow you a sneak peek of what’s to come.
Head over to Stance to watch the campaign video and to shop the limited socks available for preorder. These socks might just be the perfect stocking stuffer next Christmas.
What do you think?
It’s Wednesday everyone! Let us celebrate our mid-week victory with our Bombshell of the day, Jasmine from Ohio:
She says, “My name is Jasmine Woolfork, I’m a style blogger & personal stylist from Lorain, Ohio.” “I would describe my personal style as clean, feminine, and retro.” “I generally dress in a monochrome color palette with minimal accessories, but it’s never boring! My hair and make up often make the statement.”
“I love big hair and a great lip color. But there’s also a side to me that loves playing with texture and patterns, that is my retro/feminine side.”
“My style is heavily influenced by my grandmother and great-grandmother. I love floral prints and lace.” “I enjoy expressing myself through my fashion choices and making something old (thrifted pieces), new again.”
Well you certainly love black! I love the black/yellow look the most (gives me urban chic). Check out Jasmine on IG:@Stylebyjas. What do you guys think of her style?

Kat Graham knows a thing or two about beauty. In fact, the multifaceted beauty has even confessed to doing her own makeup many times over the years for awards and performances (so you THOUGHT it was a professional, but nope, it was Kat).
The 26-year-old stunner has always graced us with her work just as much as her beauty. Her butterfly eyelashes, filled brows, slight smokey-eye and decisive lip-color (depending on her mood) is always to be expected whenever Graham hits the stage (or the red carpet). She tends to stick to a more natural, highlighted look for her every day appearances, although at times we will find her popping on a red lip for good measure. And why not? She’s absolutely stunning as is.Aside from being a singer and actress, the Wet-n-Wild Ambassador also is a highly-active humanitarian, one of her recent trips being with the UNHCR UN Refugee Agency to raise awareness about the refugee crisis in Central America. So not only is she beautiful and successful in her career, but she cares about helping others and gaining worldwide awareness!
She definitely knows what works for her beauty-wise, and exudes the confidence we all should have on positive self-love and self-acceptance. That’s why Kat Graham is our beauty crush! Is she yours?
In a recent issue of WWD, actress Kerry Washington gushes on her hit TV show Scandal and discloses her thoughts behind her upcoming OPI Nail Collection.
With a set total of 15 colors at $10 a pop, the fashion star’s nail line also has a little something for all the Gladiators (another name for Scandal diehards) out there.
Washington (very cleverly) managed to infuse the political prowess of Scandal with a few personal touches to successfully set the tone for her OPI collection. When interviewed by WWD, she discloses, “Nails are at that interesting point where fashion and beauty meet… If I enter that space, it’s important for me to know the landscape and do it in a way that’s authentic and right and true to who I am.”
It seems that there is a rich plum shade simply called “Kerry Blossom“, a versatile gray coined “Liv” and a deep garnet known as “We The Female“. The fashion star even named a caramel hue after her two-year-old daughter, Isabelle.
Known for being extremely private, the beauty also shared a few words on including her child on this project. She admits, “I thought long and hard about having my daughter involved, but once I came up with the name, I couldn’t get it out of my head.”
Kerry’s collaboration with OPI is set to hit stores on August 4th. I can’t wait!
The rapper-turned-designer revealed that his new album ‘Waves‘ (previously called ‘Swish‘) will debut at his Season 3 collection at Madison Square Garden during New York Fashion Week (February 11th).
According to sources, Kanye’s presentation will be open to the public and tickets are set to go on sale Saturday.
His show is set to run a total of 90 minutes.
Last night, Yeezy took his antics to the next level when he unveiled an edited tracklist via Twitter.
And, as for the random autographs and signings, I’m just as dumbfounded as you. Your guess is as good as mine, lol.
The name Guo Pei may not ring a bell, but trust us when we say you’ve seen her work. The Chinese haute couturière known by millions in the East was not heard of in America until last May when she helped make fashion history: Pei was responsible for the 55-pound canary-yellow, fur-trimmed gown and cape worn by Rihanna at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute gala in New York.
After 50,000 hours of work by seamstresses and more than two years worth of work (on that dress alone!), not only was the gown on the cover of American Vogue, but it has launched Guo on the haute couture schedule in Paris, which is, by all means an understatement, a huge deal.
“I don’t consider my work to be within the limits of conventional fashion, nor do I follow trends creatively or commercially,” she revealed in an interview with The New York Times, “My work displays feelings and emotions that are precious enough to be handed down generation after generation, as well as the experience of developing gowns directly with my clients. They are reflections of myself, and of them, of the scale of my dreams and the pride I have for Chinese culture.”
Today, Guo will formally present her collection for the first time in a major fashion week, alongside big name fashion household names such as Dior, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Yves Saint Laurent, and Versace.
“This year is my 30th year in the fashion industry,” she said. “For the first 10 years I learned; for the second, I practiced, and now, during the third, I believe I am going to reap the rewards.”
We can not wait to see what comes of her collection or her newly found partnership with the Western fashion world.
Marjorie Harvey loves couture, thus it was no surprise to see her at the Christian Dior Spring 2016 Couture Show. Naturally, she was clad in a Fall 2015 Couture Black Fur Collar and Asymmetric Sleeve Cape from the iconic French fashion house, a Blue and Cobalt Croc Lady Dior Bag, and Christian Louboutin Black Leather Top Croche Over the Knee Boots:
Her cape was paired with t-strap platform sandals on the runway.
Her black leather over-the-knee boots feature an almond toe silhouette, stretch loop front, gunmetal hardware, and 4.8″ heels.
Hot! Marjorie is always in her element in couture.
