Amazon India Fashion Week Fall 2016 is going down right now, with a slew of hot designers showing their wares for the season in New Delhi. We’re gearing up for Springtime stateside, thus we thought we’d take a look at pieces from the Spring assortments that we can get our hands on right now.
And if you’re going to slip on a sari, lehenga, or other traditional garment—take the time to do your research and make sure that the event to which you’re wearing the piece is appropriate. The below styles come from Pernia’s Pop Up Shop, so we’re certain that you can drop Pernia a line if you’re interested in more background: we know we will! With that being said, get your purchasing finger ready!
Her black lambskin leather jacket features an off-center front zip fastening, notched lapels and shoulder tabs. Cop your own version here!
As for the shoe game, her $1,013 Casadei pumps boast a 4.75 inch heel, a leather insole and a lace-up accent. Unfortunately, they’re sold out everywhere.
Gal Gadot, the beauty who plays Wonder Woman in the upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, was spied on her way to Jimmy Kimmel Live clad in a Spring 2016 Dolce & Gabbana Floral Daisy Embellished Lace Overlay Short Sleeve Dress:
She’s such a stunner!
While Gal opted for sleek yellow pumps, the look was modeled on the runway with pom pom and gold-tone coin detailed ankle strap sandals.
I loved this! The pop of color from her pumps elevated her look, no? What do you think?
Happy Friday, Bombers and Bombshells.
It’s been EONS since we’ve done Mail Bombs. At the pace things go in social media, it seems like we cover most bases on most days! But we’ve had a recent influx of inquiries, so I figured I’d indulge you guys with a short, sweet, Mail Bombs post.
Let’s get started!
New reader Amanda types, “Fashion Bomb I recently started following your account on Instagram and noticed you list a lot of celebrity outfits. Can you please tell me where to get jeans like these in the picture Julisa has on?”
I told you it’d be short and sweet!
If you have wardrobe queries, we will do our best to accommodate! Send ’em to us via our Contact form.
Would you wear any of the above looks?
I hope all you had an amazing and productive week! So, it looks as if my weekend is filled networking mixers, a quick photo shoot and some serious R&R. But, before we get into our downtime activities, let’s take a look at some of the Fashion Bomb’s staff favorite celebrity looks!
Actress and style icon Lupita Nyong’o made a quick appearance on Late Night with Seth Myers in a bright orange three-piece suit by Balmain. The eye-catching ensemble was featured in the fashion house’s Spring 2015 collection. Her ‘fit piled on the sartorial drama while incorporating a crop top and flowy palazzo pants. Hot!
American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez served up multicolored goodness in a striped jumpsuit by Naeem Khan! Now, this particular frock garnered mixed reviews on our Instagram account but, honestly, we think she slayed! From the sleek silhouette to the delicate (but effective) accessories, Jenny definitely struck a high note with this one!
Our girl Kerry Washington was on hand for the 33rd Annual PalyFest while presenting her hit television show Scandal. In addition to looking nothing short of flawless, the style maven donned a Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2016 Couture periwinkle hand-knitted lace dress. Her statement-making look also features a tiered ruffle effect and a fitted waist. So gorg!
Now, I’ve been a fan of Zoe Kravitz’s effortless boho style for quite some time but this look is one of my faves! The actress/singer stunned at the premiere of her new film Allegiant while shutting it down in a Valentino Spring 2016 fishnet dress and bodysuit. With an impeccable top knot, black strappy heels and rockerish-fringe detailing, she was an absolute vision. Go Zoe!
The lovely Tracee Ellis Ross struck a few fierce poses for the ‘Gram in a Naeem Khan Spring 2016 floral print high neck tunic gown and edgy combat boots. Her look also boasts a a silk crepe material, a front slit and long sleeves. Available for $3,990, it’s certainly a splurge-worthy piece. Doesn’t she look amazing?!
Are ya’ll ready for the return of Empire?! I know I am! The show’s very own Grace Gealey went glam for the Alliance for Children’s Rights 24th Annual Dinner in a Cushnie et Ochs polka dot one-shoulder side slit dress. The beauty also accented her sultry ‘fit with chic gold sandals, a berry lip and a matching clutch. Yes!
With the drastic change in weather, wardrobe alterations are an absolute necessity. So, here at the Fashion Bomb, we’ve got you covered with some of the hottest seasonal pieces around! The primary focus is to provide our audience with fun and exciting clothing options while also remaining within an affordable price range.
Today’s feature showcases some of our favorite suede stunners! Earlier this week, Jame dropped a post highlighting how celebrities slayed this trend so I figured it’d be cool to offer readers some budget-friendly options.
Missguided is the perfect stop for all my fashionistas on a budget. Their merchandise is pretty reasonable and they’re always on-trend. Show off your gorgeous legs in their faux suede midi skirt!
So, no joke. I spotted this suede BCBG beauty on sale at Saks Fifth Avenue for $50! With an original price tag of $118, wouldn’t you call this a steal? Get it now!
House of CB is another hot brand! And, they’re best known for dressing the likes of Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and even Chrissy Teigen! Their suede zip front bodysuit is perfect for the upcoming season. Capture it here!
Okay, confession! I’ve been on a pink binge for almost a month now, lol. Rock these heels to assist in adding a bit of color to your basic looks. Trust me, you’ll love them! Head on over to Nordstrom for more info.
Bombshells have been slaaayin’ this week, and *wipes brows* it’s been hard figuring out who to feature because all of ya’ll have been killing it! Well, we’re going to end the week off with Devyni hailing from Orlando, Florida:
She said, ” Hi my name is Devni and I’m from Orlando, Florida.”
” I would describe my style as “Effortlessly Chic and Always Put Together”.”
“I love staying on top of new trends and trying them at least once.”
“I love playing with colors and textures and I try not ever limit myself when it comes to fashion.”
“I just like to be myself with every look that I create and inspire other fashionistas to do the same.”
Go head Devni! Your closet is definitely a great mix of classic/timeless pieces mixed with trendy/in the moment! Cute style. What do you guys think of Devyni from Orlando?
