No matter the coming and going of trends, there are some we know are ALWAYS going to remain, and I would say pastels for Spring are definitely one of those trends.

Ann Wynn @Ann.Wynn sent in a multitude of photos, each more fierce than the last! She showed us how to rock pastel suits, color coats, and pastel outerwear with white attire (check the gallery). WEEERRKKKK.

Nubiana, aka @nubianaliloutee, looked cute in a pastel off-shoulder blue top. Beautiful!

Dana or @jusbstill and on the blog www.ivegotcake.com wrote, “I absolutely love wearing the spring pastel colors!” Cute and chic.

Marche wrote, “My name is Marche Robinson and I write the blog www.therobinsonstyle.com. I would like to submit the attached picture wearing a blush pink trench dress for the How Do You Wear It feature.” I see you Marche!

@Tulieyaito let us know how she wore the pastel trend by pairing her Babes and Felines dress worn as a skirt with a suede corset vest and Zara Royal blue heels.

While First Lady Michelle Obama sometimes wears looks that are accessible to the entire world (we’ve all heard of J. Crew and the Tory Burch she wore in Cuba is available for purchase now) every once in a while she uses her privilege as a VIP and its access to pieces before anyone else. Prime example: For the First Family’s Argentina send-off, Mrs. Obama pulled out a blue and silver printed Tovero dress from Tory Burch’s Fall 2016 line, shown this past February at fashion week.

The dress is a beauty with long, cuffed sleeves and a two-tiered skirt that stops at knee length. The small gold buttons up the front are the perfect added touch.

While the look wasn’t one of an Argentinean designer, it no doubt was aimed at showing support for the American fashion industry. At the equestrian themed runway show, the dress seemed a bit longer than the First Lady’s version.

It was a beautiful look, one that will definitely have us looking forward to seeing the price point once it finally does become available. We’re expecting it to hit the $200 to $400 range.

The beautiful continent of Africa has been subjected to many stereotypes for centuries. Fortunately there are people dedicated to changing the narrative by providing informational resources for those looking to travel to the motherland.  Jet Black is a budding travel company that focuses on tourism to countries that are often overlooked.

Olivia Palermo was snapped at the New York premiere of new film Miles Ahead.  The stylish socialite opted for a casual look, despite some priceless date night accessories: her Birkin and her hubby Johannes Huebl.  Somewhat on the lower end of the retail spectrum: Olivia wore this $120 Topshop Embroidered Reversible Bomber Jacket.

 
Topshop took cues from the Louis Vuitton and Gucci runways and concocted this trendy, Asian influenced piece.  This reversible satin bomber features a black side and a blue side, each showcasing a bird and tiger embroidered on either side on the jacket, and a stunning display at the back. 
 She continued the embroidered motif by siding into an $802 pair of Alexander McQueen Embroidered Flower Loafers.

 Throwing subtleties to the wayside, this opulent loafer has floral embroidery covering goatskin leather: all in a smoking slipper silhouette. Olivia has definitely mastered the art of dressing up and dressing down.  From gorgeous gowns to jeans and a jacket, she proves that glamming up isn’t only exclusive to wearing designer dresses.  Hot!  The colors and striking designs add some flair, and made what could have been a humdrum look, exciting.

I won’t even lie to you guys…I have been OBSESSED with Ciara lately.

Over the past few months in particular, she has been rocking the hottest designer threads, tailored to perfection, as she has made huge appearances for Fashion Week, in other countries and of course, the announcement of her huge engagement to Russell Wilson.

The goodies singer has come a long way from her earlier days on the scene:

It felt like for a lot of her younger days, we’d either get Tomboy Ciara, or then the remixed girlish version that featured a LOT of bodycon dresses with sweetheart plunging cuts….Sigh. Well, the style began to include a few more figuring flattering looks, and so began the evolution into what we see today.

We’ve seen her take on a whole new level to her looks lately, encompassing motherhood, rocking her beachy blonde waves and showing off her enviable shape in designers such as Givenchy, Emilio Pucci, Lanvin, Alexandre Vauthier, Versace and oh so much more!
