Beyonce was among the many celebrities at the White House’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, rocking a $3,510 Marco De Vincenzo dress from their Spring/Summer 2016 collection:
The dress features a high-collar button-up, as well as strong under-wiring in the bust area. Under the wiring, the long-sleeve dress flows from red to tan to then an off-white lace, where it finishes off sheer.
I personally am not a fan of that under-wiring (I don’t think it’s flattering for the bust area), but if that were gone, I would think this is a cute look. I have hope for the dress because it looked decent in a photo she took with her mother and Monica:
What do ya’ll think about this look on Bey? Is it hot or is it definitely Hmm?
Happy Monday!
This past Saturday, I co-hosted Underground Artistry’s 3rd Annual Fashion Art and Music show with Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee.
The show’s purpose is to put a spotlight on emerging designers and talent, with a portion of the proceeds going towards Spina Bifida and Inwood House.
Before the show began, photographer Marta McAdams captured a few stylish attendees in the crowd.
Patricia Field stylist Barbie Beach accented an all black look with a lip printed jacket by These Pink Lips.
Stylist Kim Dillinger offset her platinum hairstyle with white pants and a bold blue blazer.
These Bombshells shined bright in front of the step and repeat. Yasss to the sequined ensemble!
These Fashion Bombers mixed print and color to create cool looks.
These Pink Lips designer Iris Barbee Bonner posed next to Shea from Shades of Shea. Both represented in their own designs.
Lastly, these two fans of These Pink Lips rocked graffiti looks from the collection.
Then it was was time for the show! Yvonne Jewnell offered alluring separates infused with African prints and glam details.
Shades of Shea sparkled forth in pink blush hued frocks, sequin addled ensembles, lace looks, and fabulous feathered dresses.
Hadassa D’or’s feminine collection consisted of flirty skirts and dresses in a pale palette. Fur, sequins, and tulle added allure.
Headlining designer Iris Barbee Bonner of These Pink Lips presented a vibrant offering showcasing her signature graffiti style. Jackets came adorned with pink lips and graffiti while caped suits boasted racy phrases.
Barbee Bonner was kind enough to offer to design my ensemble for the occasion! She decorated my look with powerful words like Success, Leader, Girl Power, and Fashion Bomb (of course!).
What do you think?
After the show, I grabbed pix with Rae Holliday, the Pink Carpet Host, and my co-host Angela Yee.
And Fashion Bomb Daily’s newest staff writer, Marsha Badger, showed her support.
It was a fun time!
And I really loved the designers! I was happy to discover loads of new bomb brands that we will undoubtedly feature a ton in the future.

It’s the start of another glorious week and I’m back with another installment of our You Should Know feature! Today, I’m showcasing the delectable designers of a Los Angeles-based contemporary womenswear line known as Nicole Shante.
In a brief description on Nicole Shante’s site, the brand describes its style aesthetic as “classic, yet fresh, easy, yet chic, and accented with everyday glamour. As well as, being sophisticated, and youthful. By mixing premium fabrics with fine detailing, the goal for Nicole Shante is not to be defined. But refined as individual style, most importantly be understood as effortless style.”
After sifting through the Spring/Summer 2016 collection, I was immediately intrigued by the designer’s distinct use of color. With a love of strategic cutouts, playful fringe, off-the-shoulder wonders and voluptous silhouettes, Nicole Shante’s modern take on wardrobe staples proves that simplicity (with an edge) is always in!
To see more from Nicole Shante, visit the brand’s official site here or follow their journey via Instagram @nicoleshante_!

We asked, you answered! This year’s ‘How Do You Wear It’ submissions for Easter was filled with stylish bombers and bombshells eager to show off their Sunday Best. It’s safe to say pinks and pastels are a popular color scheme for the holiday. What else was on the menu? Florals. Let’s take a look at some submissions:
Francine played up to the Easter spirit in a pastel purple dress that she made. I love the tassel detailing on the off the shoulder sleeves.
Keisha wore her mustard green, faux leather dress well!
Sherod Lewis showed off his GQ swag in a pair of floral pants, pink hat and white shoes. In love with this look!
LaShoundra of YoungATStyle.com exclaimed, “It’s all in the details! I love how my basic tee suddenly becomes a cropped top & off-the-shoulder- tee!” The details for her look are on point! Such a simple yet chic ensemble.
Nelly gave color block realness! Her yellow, pink and blue combo scream Easter. I especially loved the pop of pink on the lips.
Malyia, wrote, “What’s Easter without family? My sister Vanessa (@vennyb2) and I (@malyia_styles) looking Fashionable for Easter.” Love it! Sisters who slay together, stay together.
Tynette , of Caramel a la Mode, showed her seamstress skills in a red and pink floral dress made by her. Her thigh-high boots from Nasty Gal matched perfectly!
Monjay of The Jaye Walker Style dabbled in pinks, nudes and metallics. The moto jacket is fun finish to this look.
David said, “I wanted to display my Easter outfit this morning. I hope you enjoy it. Easter was the perfect excuse to wear my pastel pink/maroon suit.” Well David, I am here for this suit!
Sporty Chic! Gina showed a more relaxed look for the holiday and I’m diggin’ it.
Well, that was fun! Easter is the official ‘Welcome to Spring’ holiday so with that said, bring on the bright colors, open-toe sandals and mini skirts.
