Lately, Kerry Washington’s eclectic, sizzling and vivacious style have captured so many Bombers and Bombshells on the site, it felt absolutely necessary to take a trip down the yellow brick road and show her true style evolution over the years.
When Kerry first stepped on the scene, she was still wearing form-hugging silhouettes and color-coordinated frocks, but master tailoring, cut, form and fit left a little to be desired on the beauty. 
Although many don’t fully remember Kerry Washington’s original days of ‘Save The Last Dance’ and ‘I Think I Love My Wife’, she has blossomed into a full-out Powerhouse and Businesswoman, garnering media attention for her movie promotions, nail line with OPI, becoming a brand ambassador for Neutrogena, or even keeping all eyes glued to her (and her wardrobe) as the daringly refined, designer-sporting worst nightmare to any politician in DC, Olivia Pope. 
Nowadays, Kerry is seen in only the best of the best: Mary Katrantzou, Givenchy, Carrolina Herrera, Dolce & Gabbana, and many more top designer names, pushing her into the realms of a real-life Black Barbie with a varied and enviable closet.
Just as we’ve seen the progression of the conceptualization of Olivia Pope over the past seasons (she’s finally got a little color in her wardrobe!), we’ve seen Kerry Washington delve into and redefine her aesthetic in a remarkable way as she continues to shape her style and inspire fashionistas everywhere!
Fearlessly blending the lines of inter-sectionality between womanhood and being a person of color in her work on and off the set, Washington also uses her voice to vocalize various disparities in the social community, whether it be the excessive photoshopping that takes places in the media to her recent work on re-profiling some very notable names in history, such as Anita Hill.
Quite the opposite from many of the powerful women she plays on TV, Washington’s multifarious style is quite bold in color, refined in cut, and impressive all-around. We know what whenever she steps on the scene, Kerry’s bound to impress!

While we can sit and discuss how beautiful these women physically are or covet the locs of hair that fall from their crown, I would say the true beauty lies in the fact they represent hope for other young people in similar situations. That we are not byproducts of our past…we possess the magic to create our future.
