This bodysuit is designed for a flawlessly smooth and seamless finish. It’s specially knitted so the cotton fibers sit softly on your skin, while the outside has an elegant sheen. Her Frame Denim Le Skinny de Jeanne white mid-rise jeans feature distressed effects at legs and knees. The skinny fit comfortably hugs the curves. Khloe injected a pop of pattern with her Valentino ‘Rockstud Camo’ flap clutch. Gleaming pyramid studs outline a sleek flap clutch patterned in swirling camo for a military-chic vibe. It features a magnetic-strap flap closure and a wrist strap for easy toting.
Her Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ patent leather pumps feature a 4.8″ covered heel and pointed toe. The low-cut vamp visually lengthens her legs. Talk about keeping up! Khloe’s definitely been on our style radar, and this all white look shows why. The topped off her ensemble with a long white coat, Dior sunglasses and boxer braids. Do you think her ‘fit is worth the splurge though? Hmm… with a price tag of over $3,200, it may be out of the budget for most. But, if the urge to splurge hits you, you can cop her look below:
Her standout frock is crafted from silk-chiffon and features retro undertones.
It’s printed with a nostalgic blue, black, white and khaki geometric pattern, and shaped with a high neck, billowing sleeves, and a flattering cut-out at the waist.
One could definitely build on the theme with a pair of platform heels.
She definitely brought the heat in this number! Love it!
Her top was modeled on the runway with a gold choker, white culottes and simple black heels.
In addition, Solange’s eccentric Rachel Comey trousers feature a detachable wrap buckle belt, a high waist fit and a bleached indigo hue. Cop your own pair here!
If there’s a trend we’ve been seeing a lot as of late, it’s been celebrities rocking items with lace up details. While many have ventured into the realms of lace-up booties and heels, bodysuits, pants and all forms of attire are fair game. From the runway to red carpet events to even just nights out on the town, celebrities have shown us that the more lace-up, the better. No matter the color, cut or fit, the lace-up trend is one that shows that more is definitely more and one can wear multiple variations of the trend while still pulling off a polished look that turns heads (note Kendall Jenner’s lace-up top and lace-up heels).
No matter how you rock it, the lace-up trend is definitely one that’s not going anywhere and that anyone can pull off. What do you think? Check out our curated gallery where we snagged 25 times celebrities rocked something with lace up details and tell us what you think!
*How do you wear it? Send your lace-up looks to submissions@fashionbombdaily.com for a chance to be featured in our Friday roundup!
Every makeup enthusiast, aficionado and addict needs a good makeup bag, whether out on the town or just to keep their stashes properly organized. Crazy Haute Make-up Bags are my absolute favorite, as they feature fun tongue-in-cheek phrases and bold colors:
Aside the fun decorations, the bags were also EXTREMELY durable (which is good for someone like me who just tosses and goes) and properly stitched.
They’re super spacious and come in a variety of sizes (so if you don’t need all the space in the world, they have travel size readily available).
Bags range sizing and pricing, however the website is easily navigable for you to find your perfect fit. Check them out at Soooperfect.com.
Melissa Harris-Perry, the scholar-turned-television host for an MSNBC political show, was recently named Elle.com’s Editor-at-Large. Editorial director Leah Chernikoff says Ms. Harris-Perry will “focus on the intersection of race, gender, politics, and yes, even fashion, telling the often-overlooked stories of women and girls of color right here on ELLE.com.”
Of course, Perry offered a statement on her upcoming role, stating, “Joining ELLE.com is an opportunity to combine my expertise as a scholar, my commitments as a public intellectual, and my interests as a woman…Politics, economics, and inequality will be important to the stories we tell, but so too will culture, community, family, and even fashion. I am thrilled to tell my loyal television audience where they can find me and to introduce myself to brand new audiences, all while telling the stories of extraordinary women and girls.“
I am so excited to see what Melissa Harris-Perry will bring to this role, what stories will be spoken that have long been left in the margins, and what opportunities will extend itself into new communities for other women of color.
What do you think of Melissa Harris-Perry’s new role?
We’re back with a special edition of How Do You Wear It! This past weekend we watched our favorite celebrities channel their inner 70’s flower child at Coachella and it got us thinking; how would YOU dress for a music festival? We did a call for your Coachella-inspired ensembles and we got some bomb responses. Let’s get into some of the submissions.
Angelina (@floridagyal87), said, “My Coachella outfit was inspired by my reversible clothing line A’Tour Designs. A’tour is a confident line that allows you to wear clothes more than one way. I wasn’t always confident in pictures, but making my own unique clothes that suits me makes me own every picture I take. I have a versatile look in itself, so including a bohemian chic look makes my Coachella outfit raise heads and eyes.” Cute!
Nike (@specsandblazers) looked great in her romper and gladiator sandals. I especially love the big hair!
Celeste (@poelilitgirl) of PoeSoPosh.Blogspot.com, rocked the knit bell bottoms trend well! The kimono and layered choker is a great finishing touch.
Sade (@SadeASpence), owner of the style blog SadeASpence.blogspot.com, channeled a modern-day flower child in her powder pink 2-piece set. I love that she kept the accessories simple by wearing just an arm cuff!
On the contrast, Sade showed us her edgier side in a pair of black hot-shorts, off-the-shoulder crop top and a black leather choker. I’d rock both festival look!
Tysha (@StyledtoaTea), showed off her city-chic style in a pair of ripped denim jeans and a Military jacket. She wrote, ” I am a fashion blogger & owner of StyledtoaTEA. Here is my submission for Coachella inspired style! Every year I make a vow to attend Coachella the following year, unfortunately I spent my Coachella weekend in Philadelphia! Like others, I lived my Coachella dreams through Instagram and snapchat, yet again! Lol! I have attached my photo to this email for your review, thank you for your time!” Love the look!
Sherod (@heirsherrod) stated, “My look had everything to do with freedom of expression; comfortable and gender neutral.” Werk, Sherod! I’d wear that entire look with a crop top.
Elizabeth (@elizabethrhonda), showed off her legs in a pair of black over-the-knee gladiator sandals and a black mini skirt. I’m going to need that body chain and those shoes please!
Kagiso (@Official_KandiBoi), is representing Johannesburg with his festival style. I love his shoes and matching bag!
Jorrod (@mrkitchennyc), says, “My inspiration behind this Coachella look is freedom because I’ve learned that my best looks come to me when I don’t really care about the outcome. True creativity requires to play around and today mine was letting go and playing with colors!” Tye-Dye is classic Coachella. Love it!
That was fun! Be sure to check the gallery for the remaining Coachella-inspired submissions. Stay tuned for the next edition of How Do You Wear It, dropping this week!
