It’s a style showdown! Marjorie Harvey posed perfectly on Instagram in the same Gucci Spring 2016 Green Floral Embroidered Track Jacket and Pants that Rihanna originally sported last month:
Marjorie paired the matching set with open-toed sandals while Rihanna opted for a pair of white Celine pointy-toed boots.
The 70s inspired track suit ensemble boasts elaborate gold floral embroidery and the iconic brand’s signature stripe detailing.
I love me some Rihanna, but this round goes to Mrs. Harvey.
Ranging from gracing the covers of the world’s most notable magazines to posing front and center for brands like H&M, Adwoa Aboah is definitely a name on many people’s radars. As one of the current front models behind Calvin Klein’s spring/summer capiaign alongside FKA Twigs and Kendall Jenner, the model has shared that she’s interested in more than just the physical aspect of beauty. Not only is the independent model someone who is naturally beautiful, but she’s redefining the role of activism in the beauty community with her latest project, Gurls Talk. The British-born model, who is only 23 years old, has issues waves of self-empowerment feminism as she has stripped (figuratively and literally) to show her true colors and inspire other women to walk in whatever shoes they choose. In a courageous video interview, Adwoa takes her clothes off while speaking about her experiences to show how style isn’t the clothes that you wear, but about the comfortability one feels in their skin. Check out her heroic clip below:
By posting messages of self-empowerment, female solidarity and gender equality, Gurls Talk is all about opening up the lines of honesty and transparency for young women needing someone to talk to. Although it started with a singular hashtag (#letsgetgurlstalking), Gurls Talk is expanding to workshops in local schools where young women will physically be able to reap the benefits of having a community of support. With the goal of having young women open up and speak openly about their experiences, Aboah uses her personal life and struggles with sobriety, drug addiction and mental health as gateway discussers. She inspires others, through sharing her story, to know they are not alone in their quest for personal freedoms.
Adwoa is beautiful both inside and out! Inspiring young women to change the conversation and dynamic is not only commendable, but inspiring for us to walk in our own light!
So that’s why she’s our Beauty Crush Wednesday, is she yours?

I am completely obsessed with the matching set trend. We’ve seen stars like Beyonce, Karrueche and Taylor Swift rock the coordinates perfectly and it is such an appropriate look for the spring/summer seasons. Today’s Bomb Product of the Day is the ASOS Minimal Off Shoulder Top for $59 and $62 Stripe Pencil Skirt in Structured Satin:
The lightweight, off-the-shoulder top has a bardot neckline and fold over detail. Paired with a matching pencil skirt, both pieces are made of satin material and feature yellow, white, black and pink stripes.
The classic look is fit for a cocktail party, a wedding or a date night.
You can purchase the top here and the skirt here. What do you think? Would you purchase this set?
All of the TIME 100 honorees were celebrated at a gala in their honor, with our favorite stylish artists, singers, actors, and more in attendance.
Let’s see what they wore!
Nicki Minaj loves a sheer dress, thus it was no surprise to see her in a see-through lace LBD from Givenchy. I liked this!
Tinashe hit the red carpet alongside Alexander Wang, in a grommet-detailed dress, choker, and embellished pumps from the designer. Not for the faint of heart, but she pulled it off.
Ariana Grande served up princess chic in a black strapless tulle Christian Siriano gown, before performing at the gala. She’s never looked better!
Gina Rodriguez’s beige Bibhu Mohapatra gown was given some flair with a black cage neckline. A sleek ponytail would’ve completed this look perfectly!
A classic, off-the shoulder Chiara Boni gown was on the menu for Caitlyn Jenner. Pretty no?
Padma Lakshmi was pretty in pink a halter gown with a metal neckline accent and knot detailing. Hot!
Priyanka Chopra was suited up in all-white Olcay Gulsen. She never disappoints.
Trevor Noah was especially dapper in an all-black, satin lapel tux. He’s swoon-worthy!
Fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad had the best makeup of the night and her embellished gown was beautiful.
Aziz Ansari was one of the best dressed men of the evening in a shawl-collar tux.
Lewis Hamilton’s textured tux was the perfect choice (and the perfect fit) for the evening. Hot!
With the debut of lines like Ivy Park, and the popularity of Lululemon, Nike, Puma, Reebok, and more, it’s clear that athleisure is a certified trend for those who seek a stylish yet casual look.
Of course celebs aren’t immune to athleisure penchants. It girls and socialites can be seen wearing printed track suits, leggings, and crop tops with sneakers during the day, switching into heels for the night.
From Beyonce to Rihanna to the Kardashians and Hadids, everyone seems to be eschewing the idea of slipping on an old t-shirt and leggings to hit the gym or run errands, instead opting for high fashion athletic wear that can easily transition from a sweat session to a laid back outing.
We can definitely say this a trend that’s here to stay and only gets fresher and revamped as time goes on!
Check out how other celebrities rocked the athleisure trend in the gallery above, so you can grab some inspiration this season!
